The towering ferns obscure the sky, the air is filled with the scent of damp earth, and in the distance, a small river flows quietly.
However, what is most striking is a sizable hill in the rainforest.
It's entirely composed of various cold wreckage, exuding the unique chill of tal, with all sorts of chanical parts piled up like a mountain, exposed in the open air within the rainforest.
Although even Tier Two Spirit Gold won't typically rust, placing them in such a humid environnt feels sowhat unreliable.
Vishdair was a bit surprised: "What is this? Are you sure this isn't a scrapyard?"
"This... is quite unique."
Remyu remarked.
Chelina pondered for a mont, considering that Lin Guang likely wouldn't lead them to an unreliable place, and attempted to explain:
"Creating such an environnt intentionally might be to better utilize her Ability and Talent?"
Out of courtesy, the vehicle didn't directly enter the rainforest but hovered on the outskirts.
In the middle of the rainforest, there was a clearly man-made path. The group pushed aside the giant banana leaves and dangling vines, moving forward.
Before long, they saw a building resembling a factory.
The building looked dilapidated, filled with a primitive and rugged charm.
It seed to be pieced together from various discarded iron shells, crooked and mismatched, even the color of the fixed nails was inconsistent, making one suspect that a strong wind might blow it down.
There was no sign on the wall, only a crude, red-painted snake head pattern with a flickering tongue.
At this mont, as the group stood outside observing, a girl of about thirteen or fourteen years old ca out from inside.
She had short, neat, brown hair, wore a black and red workwear stuffed with tools like wrenches, and wore a pair of red fingerless gloves.
Her eyes were clear tourmaline color, and her mouth naturally curled up slightly, resembling a cat's mouth, giving her a sowhat cute appearance.
In her arms, she carried a bunch of deford discarded parts, seemingly to transport them to the nearby pile of parts.
Upon seeing the group, the girl's eyes widened instantly, and the things in her hands clattered to the ground. She imdiately turned around and ran back inside, shouting in a strange-accented Great Xia Language:
"Master! The big client we agreed to et a few days ago is here!"
"Hurry and put on so clothes!"
The group paused at the entrance.
A mont later, the girl ca running out again, with an infinitely enthusiastic smile: "Welco, I'm Liko, the apprentice here."
"Master is inside."
"Is it Lin Guang?"
Lin Guang nodded: "It's ."
"You ntioned talking price face-to-face before."
"Ah! Yes, yes! Master was busy at the ti and couldn't speak with you, so sorry for the trouble!"
"I've heard a lot about you, Lin Guang! It's a bit ssy inside... hope you don't mind."
The girl, almost ingratiatingly, warmly invited the group inside.
In the next mont, the light switched sharply from the fragnted sunlight of the rainforest to the sowhat dim white lighting inside.
The group exhibited varied expressions.
—It truly is a workshop, but the equipnt and layout within are filled with wild vigor.
Upon entering the front door of the factory, arriving at the main hall, there's a backdrop composed of tallic tremors, operations, knocks, and roaring converging.
The temperature is high here, the air mixed with oil and tal lting aromas, combined with the rainforest's humid air rushing into the nostrils, producing an indescribable impact.
There's no painting or anything considered to be refined decorations, only the ruggedness of a tin factory feel.
Massive pipelines wrapped with deep gray Spirit Gold crisscross, soldered like patches with various other material Spirit Gold, seemingly forming the core lines of the whole workshop, connecting to several unknown purpose rooms nearby.
The worktable is also patched together, even not uniformly level, with various peculiar tools, mixed parts, and materials scattered throughout the main hall.
The girl led the diverse-expressed group around piles of parts, leading to a platform below.
Then...
Their eyes suddenly widened.
In the center of this factory filled with scrap and waste, stood a towering and impactful giant robot.
It indeed could be considered a robotic design, with human-like limb structure, over fifteen ters tall, shoulder width exceeding ten ters, and an estimated weight exceeding several hundred tons.
The body paint alternated between yellow and black, resembling a small mountain, brimming with a soul-stirring aura.
However...
It was easy to see its condition was not very optimistic.
Its left chanical arm, thick as an old tree, was severed at the root, the cut exposing several pipe-like Ether wires and a Spirit Gold skeleton inscribed with a Spirit Rune Array, laid bare and tragic.
The severed part lay on the platform, not with human-like five-finger structure but with a saw blade over three ters in diater, revealing nurous large dents on its Spirit Material alloy teeth.
Besides this arm injury, a deeper scar almost split the Steel Giant diagonally at the waist, extending from its left armor all the way to the top transparent cockpit, exposing a maze-like complex of pipelines beneath its armor.
