Miaomiao opened the cover that kept out moisture and gently touched the leaves of the Swaying Lily. The plant seed to greet her, wrapping a leaf around her finger.
"Is it..." Lin Guang paused, "brought here from the north in the form of seeds by bird Spirit Beasts?"
Cultivating the Swaying Lily isn’t difficult, as the dry environnt of the laboratory ets its growing needs. Moreover, Miaomiao is far from a plant killer; her dexterous hands and her learning from Dr. Kaiwen make it hard to imagine her letting the Lily "die." This was his only guess.
"Yes."
Miaomiao nodded slightly, the little sprout on her head drooped down, and her golden eyes, as if they could speak, silently conveyed love and guilt.
"The Swaying Lily likes dry soil, and managing to take root and sprout here is already quite an achievent. But it still can’t adapt to the southern humidity. If only I had discovered her sooner."
Lin Guang bowed his head slightly, carefully observing this Swaying Lily.
Native Plant Spirit Beasts, once matured, are resilient, and most master healing skills. Even if they suffer fatal injuries, they can often regenerate through asexual reproduction;

Ether, akin to the power of life, like sunlight and water, is indispensable for Spirit Beasts, a basic elent for sustaining life.
Furthermore, there seed to be an effect from the Power of Whole Heart and Soul as well, as using the Hand of Full Mastery on the Spirit Beast for the first ti made Lin Guang feel an indescribable but very clear emotion.
This feeling was quite peculiar. Lin Guang could discern it ca from the Swaying Lily, yet the emotions were so true as if welling from his own heart.
Lin Guang couldn’t help but say, "It... seems to be crying."
"?!"
Miaomiao turned her head sharply, her beautifully golden eyes widened slightly in disbelief, and she asked, "You... can feel its emotions?"
Lin Guang didn’t withdraw his fingers, the glowing light of the Hand of Full Mastery gently shimring at his fingertips, and the Swaying Lily seed to sense sothing too, its leaves gently twining around his finger.
"Perhaps my feeling is wrong."
Lin Guang didn’t say more, just shook his head gently and said softly, "The books say that even if gray, low-grade Native Plant Spirit Beasts have emotions, they shouldn’t be so complex, only a simple survival instinct..."

Human sensory and cognitive models differ from plants, and even though everyone cultivates Spiritual Power which enhances the five senses and even the Sixth Sense, this does not an that the human species can inherently understand plants—much less roadside weeds.
Miaomiao’s personal Level likely isn’t high, yet to possess such a rare talent... would such a person choose a Liberal Arts Class?
Upon careful thought, Miaomiao’s personality makes it not surprising.
Lin Guang didn’t dwell on it, and after pondering for a while, he said, "You seem to have a particular fondness for this Swaying Lily."

Miaomiao lowered her head slightly. For so reason, Lin Guang sensed her mood had lowered a bit. She gazed at the withered Swaying Lily, yet seed not to be looking at it, and a shimr seed to flow in her eyes.
"Surrounded by plants with no genetic records... she was so lonely, crying loudly, and that’s how I found her. So I applied to Dr. Kaiwen to bring in so northern plants."
Lin Guang looked around and noticed that the strange flowers and plants in the surrounding pots were indeed common northern plants, and the laboratory environnt seed quite dry as well.
