Father Yu and Mother Yu reminisced the dream again, and ultimately decided to leave Anning be for the ti being, to let her suffer a bit more.
Anning had a rather deep sleep that night.
She got up very early in the morning, went for a jog in the small park outside, ca back to make a simple breakfast, washed the dishes after eating, and was just about to go to school when her phone rang.
It was a call from Aunt Zhang, to Anning’s surprise.
She answered promptly: "Aunt Zhang."
Aunt Zhang sounded quite anxious: "Ningning, where are you right now? Did they... really kick you out?"
Anning was silent for a while before she said, "Yes, I’ve rented a place now. I’m doing okay, don’t worry about ."
"How can I not worry?"
Aunt Zhang sounded nearly in tears: "You’re so young, how could they be so heartless, what sin did they make you bear?"
Aunt Zhang asked Anning for her address again: "You wait for at ho, I will be right over."
Less than ten minutes after Anning hung up, Aunt Zhang arrived.
As Anning opened the door and let her in, Aunt Zhang took a tour around the apartnt. Seeing that it was neatly arranged and that the fridge was stocked with plenty of food, she knew Anning was managing alright and felt relieved.
"I took the day off today, I was already near the school when I called you."
Aunt Zhang explained, then took out a bank card from her purse: "There’s so money in here, it’s not much, but you can use it for now. I’ll figure sothing else out later."
Anning couldn’t possibly accept Aunt Zhang’s money. Aunt Zhang’s husband had passed away and she had a son in college; she needed to save for her son’s tuition fees and for a house when he found a job. Tis were quite tight for her.
"I can’t take this."
Anning pushed the bank card back: "I can earn my own money."
But Aunt Zhang wouldn’t take no for an answer, she placed the card in Anning’s hand: "Take it, I know what you’re thinking. Your brother Yu Ze can take care of himself now, he can earn his own tuition fees, and he’s told to spend the money I saved for myself, and I don’t need to worry about his housing in the future. He’s an adult now, he’ll earn the money to get married and buy a house."
As she spoke of her son, Aunt Zhang seed very happy.
Anning felt happy for Aunt Zhang too.

Anning watched Aunt Zhang’s departing figure for a long while.
She etched the kindness of Aunt Zhang and Mr. Bai deep into her heart, vowing to repay them many tis over in the future.
She also rembered how the original body once ran away after being beaten up and was taken in by Mr. Bai for a few days, and when the original body didn’t have food at ho and was deliberately starved, it was Aunt Zhang who secretly brought her food.
Later, when Father Yu and Mother Yu deliberately withheld tuition from the original body, Aunt Zhang quietly gave her a bank card to pay the fees while she cried in secret.
The original body was very grateful to Aunt Zhang and Mr. Bai and had thoughts of repaying their kindness if she ever made money, but unfortunately, she didn’t live to see that day as she was killed by Yu Anjing.

She turned and glared at Ge Yiming, who was stunned by her reaction.
In the early morning, the golden-red sunrise scattered beams of light. The slender girl in the blue and white school uniform had a fair and radiant face, and her palm-sized cheeks were adorned with a pair of dazzling eyes. Usually, those eyes seed to hide a world within them, capable of drawing one’s soul in.
But today, the girl’s eyes were red, and they brimd with tears, a few droplets clinging to her long eyelashes. The sparkling teardrops were gilded by the sunlight, rolling down her lashes before slowly falling off.
Her tearful eyes grew even more intense, making her eyes appear all the more beautiful under their moisture.
Those eyes seed to contain an entire ocean.
Ge Yiming was captivated by those eyes, and his grip gradually loosened.
After realizing he had let go, he was once again filled with annoyance.
anwhile, Anning took the opportunity to run off with her backpack.
Ge Yiming looked down at his right hand, the hand that had just been grasping Anning’s braid, still feeling the smooth texture of her hair in his palm, as if he could still sll the faint scent of her shampoo.
Thinking that such a well-behaved and quiet girl was bullied to tears by him, Ge Yiming felt even more irritable.
His chest ached intensely, as if his heart had been heavily struck, the pain was so sharp he wanted to bend over.
But rembering the dream he had for such a long ti, Ge Yiming bit down hard on his teeth: "Damn, I actually sympathize with her. Have I gone mad?"
Though he said so, a throbbing pain still lingered in his heart.
"Ningning."
An Xin was particularly angry as she called out to Anning: "What was that just now? Why did you let yourself be bullied?"
An Xin had woken up to that scene and was so angry that she felt like her entire life system was disturbed.
Her beloved Host was being bullied, and An Xin wanted to ferociously bite to death the person who bullied Anning.
Anning comforted An Xin with a smile: "I’m fine, I did it on purpose. Otherwise, there is no one in this world who could catch ."
"But why?"
An Xin didn’t quite understand: "Why would you let him bully you willingly?"
Anning chuckled lightly: "It only hurt for a mont, but he’s probably going to live the rest of his life in pain."
An Xin didn’t quite understand.
Anning did not give An Xin a detailed explanation. An Xin was just a system, not so deeply understanding of human emotions. Even if she explained, An Xin wouldn’t comprehend it.
