"Has everything been taken care of with the Liu Family?" Yang Chuxia asked.
"It’s been dealt with." Fugui told Yang Chuxia the outco from the Liu family.
"Go tell Uncle Dayong about the results," Yang Chuxia said with so silence, and then instructed.
Once Fugui had left, Yang Chuxia spoke to Ye Yi, "Start getting ready, we’re leaving tomorrow, there can be no more delays."
"Yes, I’ll get on that imdiately," Ye Yi said with a smile. "If we don’t leave soon, the young master is probably going to be very anxious."
Yang Chuxia smiled. Indeed, they were originally supposed to leave in March, but the departure had been delayed until May.
After Ye Yi left, Yang Chuxia went to see Lele and Yangyang.
The children would have their first birthday in half a month, and they ought to have the birthday ceremony of grabbing objects, but Yang Chuxia thought things at Yangshu Village had been a bit too hectic lately. She decided it would be better to wait and do a make-up celebration in Mianyang when Brother An was there, so he could also be part of the boys’ growing-up process.
"Mommy!" Seeing her, Yangyang shouted excitedly and wriggled free from Li’s grasp, walking several steps forward.
Yangyang could now walk a few steps without being held, but he still wobbled like a Weeble, which alard Ming Liu so much that she had to extend her hands protectively.
"Why are you so happy?"
Yang Chuxia stepped forward to pick him up and tapped his little nose, causing him to giggle. "We’re going to see Daddy tomorrow. Are you happy, Yangyang?"
"Daddy... Daddy..." Yangyang didn’t really rember Brother An, as Yang Chuxia had been talking about him in front of the twins every day and even showed them the wedding portrait Brother An had drawn.
"See Daddy, see Daddy!" Upon hearing they were going to see Brother An, Lele also showed great excitent.
But he refused to co down and walk, sitting on the cushioned bed and stretching his arms out to Yang Chuxia, wanting to be held.
"Co down, look, your brother ca down to walk. You co down too, and walk to Mommy, then I’ll hold you." Yang Chuxia, holding Yangyang, squatted a ter away from her son’s bed.
Little Lele always appeared a bit lazy about anything other than books; he didn’t like to talk much, nor was he fond of walking. Li’s mother would hold him, and he would often want to be held after just a couple of steps, revealing that he didn’t enjoy walking, to the point that Yang Chuxia still wasn’t sure whether he could actually walk if let go.
However, he knew many words, even though he seldom spoke. Whenever he was taught sothing, he almost got it right away, rarely needing to be taught twice.
"Don’t want to walk, don’t want to walk!" Hearing that he should co down and walk, Lele was unhappy, quickly shaking his hands. Moreover, his tiny body moved back on the cushioned bed, amusing to anyone watching.
"Why don’t you want to walk?" Yang Chuxia asked him with a laugh.
But he waved his hands even more vigorously, yelling, "Just don’t want to walk, just don’t want to walk!"
"Oh, Little Lele can speak in short sentences now, that’s really great!" Engrossed in busyness these past days, Yang Chuxia hadn’t noticed her son’s progress.
Ming Liu laughed and said, "The young master could say it a few days ago. Yesterday, he even said ’I want to find Mommy.’" Ming Liu imitated her own way of talking, and Lele gave her a glare, seemingly embarrassed.
"Lele, co down and play with your brother; you’re getting lazy from sitting all day," Yang Chuxia continued to coax her son. "Co down, and when we see Daddy, he’ll buy you lots of books, okay?"
Hearing about seeing Daddy, Lele’s interest was piqued and he started clapping his hands, shouting, "I want to see Daddy!"
