"What did you all go out to play? Why have you co back so late?" The first question was for Yangyang, and the second for Yang Chuxia.
"Buy, buy, buy..." What they played had, at that mont in Yangyang’s mind, turned into three words.
Because he discovered that at every place, his mom and aunt would bring out lots of things. Mom said they were buying stuff and needed to give silver for it, the kind that’s small stones.
"Pfft... Your three words describe it quite well," Yang Chuxia chuckled. She and Dongyang had indeed bought lots of things today: food, drinks, playthings, and also clothes and jewelry, not one less. "I accompanied Commandery Princess Dongyang for a tour around Mianyang County, and we had lunch outside, so that’s why we’re back late."
Ye Zi’an rubbed his nose with so resentnt, "So the result of waiting until now without having my al is that I’m still going to eat alone?"

Once he saw what Yang Chuxia had packed for him, he was even more pleased, as they were all dishes he liked.
While he ate, Yang Chuxia went to wash up the two stead buns first – after playing all day, they were tired, so both the stead buns went to bed early.
By the ti she returned, Ye Zi’an had finished his al.
"Did you figure it out?"
Yang Chuxia knew what he was asking and nodded, but ntioning it made her look rather unhappy.
"What, isn’t it delightful?"
"More than un-delightful, it’s downright miserable, at least for Dongyang." Yang Chuxia recounted her conversation with Commandery Princess Dongyang to Ye Zi’an.
Ye Zi’an was also taken aback after listening.
However, he quickly shook his head, "This matter we still need to ask Mu Shaoling about; there might be more to it. Ye Zi’an laughed but didn’t reply to the question anymore.
"Do you think he’s doing this out of spite, because Commandery Princess Dongyang previously forced a marriage with an imperial edict and he was displeased?"
"Wife, you’re overthinking it. Just like you said, if he really was dissatisfied with the marriage, why didn’t he agree to annul the wedding after leaving the island when Commandery Princess Dongyang proposed it? Mu Shaoling is very stubborn, I tell you, he definitely holds the Commandery Princess dear. As for what exactly happened this ti, we have to ask him himself," Zi’an replied.
"You have a point there."
Seeing her still pondering over this, Zi’an shook his head helplessly.
