It wasn’t until Li Wen asked from the side, "Is the Lord Marquis ready?" that Ye Zi’an snapped back to reality.
"Alas, what a pity!" He muttered while tidying his clothes, "I should’ve taken today off yesterday."
"You’re impossible, just go quickly. Keep asking for leave, and the Emperor might hold it against you."
