Upon arriving at the private room, several ladies stepped forward to greet. Yang Chuxia smiled and raised her hand, "Ladies, there’s no need for such courtesy. Please have a seat. Ming Lan, serve the tea quickly."
The group saw Yang Chuxia smiling and chatting, assuming her to be a very kind and easygoing person.
They also noticed her young age. Even though she held a high position, it led to a sense of underestimation among the people in the room.
In their eyes, they were like mothers’ age to Yang Chuxia, so they assud she would certainly show them so respect, and thus, felt more at ease in their conversation.
"Madam Ye, you were doing well in the prosperous Capital City. Why have you co to Liao City, such a small place?" This was asked by Madam Liu.
"The Great Zhou is rich in resources, its landscapes vast. If one only stayed in one place, how could they see the magnificent scenery elsewhere?"
Madam Song then said, "After all, Madam Ye is young and full of enthusiasm. Unlike us with our old legs and arms, even if we wanted to go out and about, we couldn’t."

Yang Chuxia exchanged pleasantries with the two ladies. The conversation was fairly polite, though so were less tactful in their words.
"Madam Ye, how co you’ve co to Liao City? If you were in the prefecture, we wouldn’t have had to travel this far with our old legs and arms."
Oh, the way this is said, is she suggesting I’ve traveled too much?
Does this person not think before speaking? Should she consider these unrelated people when deciding where to go?
Yang Chuxia looked around, trying to identify who was so thoughtless, yet the faces around her seed to agree quite a bit.
"The Lord Marquis and I ca to Liao City to handle so private affairs. Originally, we didn’t intend to disturb the local officials and planned to return to the Capital once matters were settled.
