Baili Yan was montarily speechless, feeling that being an Emperor was utterly uninteresting.
He felt like his life was not even as leisurely as that of an ordinary commoner.
It even made him entertain the thought of not wanting to be an Emperor, but that’s all he could do—just think about it.
Regarding Yangyang not becoming the Emperor of Great Qi, after thinking it over, he still found it a pity.
"You little rascal, do you know? If you had beco the Emperor of Great Qi, perhaps Great Qi and Great Zhou could stop warring, and maybe even engage in a secret plot, turning Great Qi into Great Zhou."
Looking at Yangyang with disappointnt, "You little fool, what a great opportunity wasted."
Yangyang scratched his little head, was it really like that?
"I never thought about it like that." Yangyang shrugged, "But now the result is the sa, isn’t it? The young Emperor of Great Qi is Prince Le’s biological son, also a person of Great Zhou."
"Sigh, that’s not quite the sa." Baili Yan sighed, "The hearts are different."
With soone like Baili Han, the two dynasties probably won’t even have a chance to reconcile.
"Cousin, you’re thinking too optimistically," Ye Zi’an twitched his lips, "The current young Emperor of Great Qi is just a puppet. Everything is still under the control of Grand Emperor Baili Han." So forget about any secret plots to turn Great Qi into Great Zhou.
Baili Yan rolled his eyes at him, "I know all that, just saying."
A while later, the guards brought food, dinner was very simple, just so roasted at with thin porridge.
Yang Chuxia thought to herself, for soone like Baili Yan to eat this is really sothing.
After dinner, the army allotted a tent for Ye Zi’an’s family to stay in.
The next day, at the crack of dawn, the army got up to cook porridge, then struck camp.
Afterwards, Ye Zi’an and the others also rode their horses away.
By midday, they reached a town under Tumi County of Liangchuan Prefecture.
"I was chasing that barefoot doctor to this county at the ti," Ye Zi’an said.
"Tumi County, are there many Tumi flowers here?"
"Seems there are quite a lot, I rember there’s an annual Tumi Flower Festival here."
Yangyang tapped on the carriage and quietly asked Lele, "How many miles did we travel this morning?"
"We traveled slowly in the morning, just a few dozen miles."
Upon hearing this, Yangyang stroked his chin and grinned.
"Why are you smiling like that?" Lele asked, puzzled.
"Nothing." Yangyang jumped off the carriage, "Dad, I’m hungry. Let’s head to the restaurant. The porridge from breakfast wasn’t filling at all."
"Here we are."
Yangyang hurriedly said, "I’m going in to order so food." With that, he hopped to the front like a rabbit, and once inside, he shouted, "Boss, bring two servings each of your roast suckling pig, braised beef, crystal knuckles..."
"Can you finish all that?" Yang Chuxia, who followed him in, asked.
"Aren’t there lots of uncle guards around? How could it not be finished?" finished Yangyang, adding, "And boss, rember to bring two plates of stead buns."
"Alright, young master, please have a seat. The food will be right up."
"Mother, please sit," Yangyang went up to help Yang Chuxia sit down, then helped Ye Zi’an. Finally, he sat down himself.
Lele chuckled, "The little one is becoming more filial."
"Of course." Yangyang propped his chin up, full of pride.
The speed of serving at this restaurant was fairly quick, and as soon as the knuckles arrived, he couldn’t wait any longer.
Midway through, he added, "Boss, please prepare two orders of osmanthus cake for takeaway."
Yang Chuxia just assud he wanted to save it for the carriage ride, so she didn’t ask much.
