Everyone then noticed that their Grand Emperor had been holding a wine cup the whole ti, even drinking while they were talking. This made General Zha and the others feel powerless; after saying so much, did the Grand Emperor even listen?

"Good, well done!" Baili Han walked forward and patted his shoulder.
"The wine from Great Zhou is indeed much better than our Great Qi’s wine," other generals chid in upon hearing.
"Exactly, this ti during negotiations we could ask Great Zhou to send us a batch of wine every year."

And so the group was entirely led astray by Baili Han. They originally intended to question Baili Han on why not to seize Great Zhou during this opportune ti, but ended up discussing wine instead.

So they went along with General Zha.

A crisp child’s voice sounded, and Baili Han turned his head to find a corner of his tent had been cut open, with a little head squeezed in.

"To accompany you in drinking!" Yangyang said as he tried to squeeze his head further in, but suddenly realized the hole was too small, causing him to get stuck at the shoulders.
"Pff... Who’s the foolish one now." Baili Han laughed unreservedly at his awkward state, "Not using the main entrance but forcing open the back door instead."
"The back door is a shortcut," Yangyang said as he tried to squeeze further in, but seeing no movent, pulled out a dagger and, upon successfully getting inside, saw a few wines on Baili Han’s table and waved his hand with great disdain, "Why are you drinking again? Aren’t you afraid of drinking yourself to death?"
