That sigh in her ears sounded so familiar.
She opened her eyes and, by the moonlight, confird where that familiar sigh had co from.
"Of course I didn’t co to the wrong place." The reply was righteous and indignant, with a bit of teeth–gritting in it.
Ye Haoyang stood up, lit the lamp in the room, and only then turned his head to look at her.
"I can find my room in my own courtyard with my eyes closed. How could I go to the wrong one?"
"..." Mu Huaen was stunned for a long while before she finally spoke timidly, "Brother Ye Er, barging into a woman’s room in the middle of the night—where’s your upbringing?"

And you sneaking over here at this hour—if people find out, what do you think they’ll be saying about the Mu and Ye Families outside?"
"Heh..." If she hadn’t said it, it would’ve been fine; but the mont he heard her say "I’m your older sister," Ye Haoyang’s face twisted.
He yanked her over with one hand and grabbed her by the throat with the other. "Mu Huaen, who gave you the guts to lie to ? Believe it or not, I’ll strangle you to death."
"Huh?"
Mu Huaen blinked, a bit slow on the uptake. Seeing that utterly innocent look in her eyes only made Ye Haoyang angrier; he couldn’t help tightening his grip a little, his gaze tinged with blood‑red.
"Mu Huaen, you’re really good at playing dumb, huh?"
Being called "Mu Huaen" again, it was impossible for Mu Huaen to ignore it now.

His eyes were so terrifying that she grabbed his wrist with both hands. "L‑let’s talk this out, cough..."

Ye Haoyang walked up with a smile that didn’t reach his eyes. "So, the reason you never told the truth the few tis we t is because there’s sothing wrong with your brain—and it still hasn’t healed?"
Mu Huaen’s eyes went wide, cursing nonstop in her heart. Could Brother Ye Er’s mouth be any more poisonous?
