Upon hearing that his parents had woken up, Ye Haoyang figured this was no ordinary fire and quickly woke Mu Huaen.
When the young couple reached the front yard, they heard the servants say that Lord Marquis and the Madam had already gone ahead to the Mu Residence.
Upon hearing this, Ye Haoyang grabbed a horse and, taking Mu Huaen with him, rushed to the Mu Residence.
Upon reaching the Mu Residence, they discovered that a large pile of firewood had been stacked outside the Mu Residence and was still burning. The neighbors on both sides of the Mu Residence had been awakened and had co over to help put out the fire.

Seeing her urgency, Ye Haoyang took her by the hand, abandoned the horse, and employed light martial arts.
Upon reaching the inner courtyard, they found Yang Chuxia and others already engaged in combat with a group of won in white.
On the opposite rooftop stood a woman holding a jade flute.
"Mu Yubing! You really dared to co and take action!"
Placing Mu Huaen on the ground, Ye Haoyang charged towards Mu Yubing.
"I didn’t expect you to be able to recognize ?" It was indeed Mu Yubing, and she chuckled lightly. "No one from the Mu Family knows who I am, yet you can tell? Could it be that the one you truly admire isn’t Mu Huaen, but ?"
"You really dare to say that!" Ye Haoyang retorted while attacking, "My eyes aren’t blind!"
"Your eyes are indeed blind, marrying a disfigured woman like that." Mu Yubing laughed softly, "Even if you miss , you didn’t have to marry such an ugly woman as consolation."
"I always thought you were quite good, except for being ntally disturbed." Ye Haoyang replied sarcastically, "Today, I finally realize, it’s not just your mind that’s ill, but your brain too. Even if my brain was filled with crap, I couldn’t possibly miss you."
"Heh..." Mu Yubing sneered at his words, but instead of getting angry, she carefully countered Ye Haoyang’s attacks.
However, her internal martial arts were inferior to Ye Haoyang’s, and in no ti, she was subdued by Ye Haoyang.
Even so, the feeling she gave Ye Haoyang was unsettling, as she showed no fear after being captured and continuously held a mocking smile.
"Retreat!"
Upon seeing her captured, the group of won in white exchanged glances and promptly left the Mu Residence.
"Mu Yubing!" Mu Shaoling’s face turned blue from anger at the chaos in the Mu Residence. Seeing the culprit caught, he stepped forward and slapped her, "You’re simply courting death! How dare you collaborate with outsiders to harm the Mu Family."
The won in white seed well-trained and disciplined. He didn’t believe Mu Yubing was their master; a partnership seed more likely.
"I do as I please, I enjoy it, how is it your business? The Mu Family is your Mu Family, not mine. I want to destroy the Mu Family, what can you do to ?"
"You!" Montarily stunned, Mu Shaoling raised his hand in anger.
"Father, she can’t die yet." Ye Haoyang had always thought those white-clad won were Mu Yubing’s subordinates, but today’s events suggested otherwise. Further details had to be obtained from Mu Yubing.
Seeing him raise his hand, fearing he might kill Mu Yubing, Ye Haoyang quickly intervened.
Mu Shaoling didn’t actually intend to kill her; he rely wanted to disable her martial arts. However, he didn’t explain.
"You want to kill ?" Misinterpreting his actions, Mu Yubing bitterly questioned, "If you never wanted as a daughter, why did you give birth to ? You should’ve killed before I was born."
(ps: Back in the day, Commandery Princess Dongyang gave Yangyang sothing as a token of engagent. Does anyone still rember what it was? Haha~~)
