"Xiaxia, what are you looking at?" Yang Chuxia pulled Yang Xiayun by the hand, her eyes still fixed on the teahouse.
"I feel like soone is watching us." She whispered this to Ye Zi’an, who was taken aback and then said, "Be careful then."
Ye Zi’an actually wanted to suggest not to stroll around and go back to the shop, but he didn’t say it out loud seeing the two enthusiastic future sisters-in-law.
"It’s okay, I don’t think they’re enemies, and I didn’t sense any malice from them."
Observing Ye Zi’an’s hesitation, Yang Chuxia could almost guess what he wanted to say.
She looked up at the window of that teahouse again, and when no one appeared, she didn’t linger on the matter. However, she was certain that soone had been there.
It was only when Yang Chuxia and the others walked away that one of the young masters returned to the window, staring at the departing figures.
The group, however, didn’t pay much heed to this brief incident and moved on to a stall selling hair decorations for little girls.
There were also toy stalls with boys’ favorites, such as spinning tops and wooden horses.
They strolled around until the afternoon before going back to the shop, and then tidying up and returning to Yangshu Village.
When they arrived at Yangshu Village and had just brought the purchased items back ho, Yang Da’an and his wife arrived.
In their hands were two paper bags, two pieces of at, and a set of clothes.
This was their annual tribute to Old Yang. Although it wasn’t much compared to what Yang Chuxia had prepared for him, it was still much better than what so people had brought.
Here’s how things went: Not even half an hour after Yang Da’an and his wife had brought their gifts, Ms. Luo arrived as well.
In her hand was a large basket that looked quite heavy. Yang Chuxia wondered if Ms. Luo had decided to be generous this ti.
However, when she saw what was in the basket, she realized that it wasn’t her generosity that was causing her to splurge, but rather, sothing else.
What did Ms. Luo bring, you ask? Yang Chuxia thought there must be a good amount of at, eggs, and at the very least so pastries in the basket. But when Yang Xiayun quickly opened the basket, it turned out to be a basket full of radishes.
"You naughty girl, why are you so quick with your hands?" Ms. Luo had intended to drop off the items and leave before they discovered the radishes and heard their comnts.
However, she didn’t expect Yang Xiayun to lift the cloth covering the basket so quickly.
"Sister, there are so many radishes!" Yang Xiayun looked at the basket of radishes, still in an adorably clueless manner, and asked Ms. Luo, "Auntie, are these radishes ripe? Can we eat them? Why are they so small?"
"Pfft..." Ms. Liu couldn’t help but laugh at the side.
Ms. Luo’s face reddened a bit, and she glared at Ms. Liu before saying, "You little brat, what do you know? Radishes of any size can be eaten, and the smaller they are, the tastier they are."
