"If it’s not possible now, who’s to say it won’t be in the future?" Ye Zi’an said, "There’s so much land in these mountains. Even if we can’t buy it all, surely we can buy a portion of it when the ti is right. I noticed on our way here, that although this area is deep in the forest, it’s mainly near the north side. If we really want to make this place private, we can simply buy the land on the north side."
"Right, we need to work hard to save money and buy this place." Yang Chuxia stared at the hot spring in front of her, her eyes shining brightly. This place was a natural hot spring, far better than those artificially developed ones in modern tis, especially since the spring water was pure and didn’t contain any additives.
"Describe the two herbs we are looking for, and I’ll help you search," Ye Zi’an said, as he looked around the vast area. It would certainly take thoughtful searching, considering how many herbs were mixed together, and it was easy to get overwheld.
"Hmm, you’re right, it’ll be faster if we search together. For the Tian Nan Xing, you should look for plants that appear flat like a paper umbrella when viewed from the front, while the Chinese aconite has leaves that seem to cluster together along its branches. However, each individual leaf is split into several parts, and each part sowhat resembles the leaves of wormwood. So even look more like feathers."
"Alright, I got it."
With that, the two of them split up and began searching in different directions.
Yang Chuxia searched very carefully, even more so than her previous visit, almost examining each plant individually.
However, while she found quite a few easily identifiable herbs, she didn’t find a single Chinese aconite or Tian Nan Xing.
"Xiaxia, Xiaxia, co here!" Yang Chuxia was sighing over a patch of herbs when Ye Zi’an waved to her from a distance.
"What’s up, Brother An?" Unable to find the herbs, Yang Chuxia appeared a bit listless.
"Is this it?" Hearing Ye Zi’an’s words, Yang Chuxia imdiately perked up. She rushed to his side, even accidentally stepping on several plants along the way.
"Let see, let see." She reached Ye Zi’an’s side and lowered her head to look at the herb in front of him. It seed to have once had small flowers, but most of them had fallen off, leaving only a couple still attached.
Looking at the leaves around the flowers, they were divided into several parts, and the tips resembled feathers, becoming sharper towards the ends.
Yang Chuxia could feel her hands trembling. Wasn’t this the legendary Chinese aconite?
Last ti, Uncle Cai had searched for a long ti in this area and couldn’t even find a trace of it. Yet, Brother An had found it on his first try.
Yang Chuxia looked at the young man squatting beside her, his injured leg outstretched. In a sudden burst of excitent, she planted a kiss on Brother An’s right cheek.
"Brother An, you’re amazing! Do you have any idea how long Uncle Cai searched for this last ti? He spent a whole four hours looking and didn’t find it. And here you are, finding it right away!"
Ye Zi’an’s mind went blank at that mont, not hearing a word Yang Chuxia said, as he was still processing the gentle touch that felt like a breeze caressing his cheek.
By the ti he finally snapped back to reality, Brother An’s face began to slowly turn red.
Yang Chuxia stared at him in astonishnt. "Brother An, your face is so red!"
Noticing her comnt only made Ye Zi’an’s face turn even redder.
She couldn’t help but grin mischievously, thinking how adorable her Brother An was. However, this charming side of him was sothing that only she could see; to others, he remained the ever-composed young gentleman.
