I don’t know how he ended up here.
The man ate fast, reminding Yang Chuxia of how they ate during their training.
Suddenly Yang Chuxia had a thought, could this man be a soldier?
Looking at his temperant, he did seem to have the air of a soldier, but losing his mory like this didn’t quite seem like sothing a soldier would do.
After the man finished eating, Old Mu waved his hand, signaling that Yang Chuxia could leave. In doing so, he seed to have an air of soone in a high position.
Then, he laid down on the ground with his eyes closed.
A mont later, he suddenly opened his eyes and said to the approaching Yang Chuxia, "Why haven’t you left yet?"
Yang Chuxia stopped in her tracks and thought to herself, sure enough, he has good hearing, as her footsteps were already very light.
"I’m leaving now." Yang Chuxia wasn’t bothered at all by being caught.
When she returned to Yangshu Village with Yang Dachuan, Yang Chuxia was preparing to call a few people from the village to help set up a shed in the field.
"Daughter, is this really a good idea? Can he really keep an eye on things?" Yang Dachuan was worried, as this man was not soone they knew and he was so strange, could he actually keep an eye on things?
"It’s fine," Yang Chuxia replied, "Dad, I think he’s sick and can’t rember who he is."
"Oh, is that so?" Upon hearing this, Yang Dachuan began to feel pity for the man.
Yang Chuxia had Old Yang return ho and was preparing to go find Uncle Old Gen when she happened to bump into Ye Zi’an coming out of Old Gen’s house.
"Wait for , I’ll get Uncle Old Gen to go to the field and help set up a shed." Yang Chuxia said to Ye Zi’an before entering Old Gen’s house.
When they ca out, Old Gen was carrying so things and joined them.
On their way ho, Yang Chuxia told Ye Zi’an about the strange man she had t in the field.
Ye Zi’an frowned and said, "Don’t jump to conclusions yet. Let’s observe him for a bit. Maybe he’s just pretending? Maybe soone sent him to find out what you’re doing?"
Ye Zi’an always considered things from different angles, and he had already thought of other possibilities after hearing the story.
"You’re right. For now, we’ll just let him watch over there. He won’t be staying at our house anyway. We can observe him secretly." Yang Chuxia then added, "Oh, by the way, I ran into Yang Lichun and her daughter."
"Them?" Ye Zi’an’s eyebrows slightly furrowed with impatience at the ntion of Yang Lichun.
"Yeah, they probably want to return to Yangshu Village." Yang Chuxia snorted, "But I’ve already warned her not to co to my grandfather’s house to try to get back to the Yang family, or I’ll beat her up."
"Clearly, your warning had no effect," Ye Zi’an said, pointing ahead. "Take a look."
Looking up, Yang Chuxia saw quite a few people gathered in front of their house. Once she got closer, she heard Ms.Ye and Yang Lichun’s sobbing voices, as well as Ms.Luo’s sharp voice.
"Dad, I don’t agree to let them return." Ms.Luo said. It was a joke, they had already divided up the second branch of family’s land and house. If they let the mother and daughter return now, wouldn’t they have to give everything back? How could they vomit out what they had already eaten?
"Dad, I also don’t agree." The voice belonged to Yang Xiaochuan.
"Grandpa, I don’t agree either." Yang Chuxia pushed her way through the crowd, went to the front, grabbed the mother and daughter clinging to Old Yang, and pulled them apart. "Didn’t I warn you two not to co to my house? Didn’t you listen? What, do you want to die?"
