Three or four days passed, and the rest of Ye Zi’an’s troops returned.
The few remaining guards, along with Sister-in-law Li, ca back driving four carriages, one of which looked quite luxurious.
So guards were even riding horses, and their entrance into the village imdiately attracted everyone’s attention. But at a glance, it was clear they were headed to the Ye Family’s residence.
"Co on, let’s go watch the excitent," said Auntie Li, who never could keep her mouth shut, seemingly resigned to her life’s lot.
Ms.Luo loved a good spectacle and wanted to see what was happening, but seeing that Ms.Hong showed no interest in going, she forced herself to resist the urge.
When the procession of carriages stopped at the Ye Family’s doorstep, Yang Chuxia and Ye Zi’an naturally went out to take a look.

The only person who could elicit such a tone from Ye Zi’an was Mu Shaoling; ever since their first eting, their interactions had been like this. Although things had improved sowhat later on, it didn’t take long for them to revert to this state.
Mu Shaoling couldn’t be bothered with him and addressed Yang Chuxia directly.
"Xiaxia, it’s been a while, have you been well recently?"
"I’m very well, thank you for recomnding the midwife and healer," she said. This was sothing she couldn’t forget; she had to thank Mu Shaoling, as a good midwife was essential for childbirth these days.
Take Ms.Luo’s childbirth with Yang Jindi, for instance. After Yang Chuxia discussed it with Grandma Lin and Granny ng, she saw both of their faces twitch in unison.
She knew imdiately sothing was amiss and upon inquiring learned that while a large baby does complicate delivery, it shouldn’t have required such cutting. Apparently, the two won had other thods but chose not to share them; Yang Chuxia later reasoned that it might be their closely guarded secret, sothing not to be divulged lightly.
"It’s my pleasure!" Mu Shaoling said, smiling and waving his fan in a dashing manner.
Once inside, he suddenly asked, "By the way, did you have twin sons or daughters?"
Thinking of the nas the Emperor had chosen made him cringe; they were just too dreadful.
"Both are boys, their nicknas are Lele and Yangyang."
Hearing it was two boys, Mu Shaoling felt envious. How co Ye Zi’an was so lucky? His life might be ordinary, but his luck was unbelievably good. So people spend their whole lives longing for a son, and he got two at once.
"It’s fortunate they are sons."
At this, Yang Chuxia rembered the matter of the royal naming.
"Where’s your son? Bring him here; I want to take a good look," Mu Shaoling eagerly demanded to see the children as soon as he entered the house.
When Mingcui and Sister-in-law Li brought one child each to the small sleeping carriage, Mu Shaoling’s eyes lit up.
"This little guy actually looks a bit like you," Mu Shaoling said, referring to Yangyang.
Hearing this, Yang Chuxia stepped forward to take a closer look, then at Lele, not really seeing the resemblance. Could it be because of the ti spent together?
"This one looks just like Ye Zi’an, quite unpleasing. Just look at that perpetually wooden expression."
Compared to Yangyang, whose crying was loud and who smiled easily, Lele indeed seed too calm.
"How can you tell who resembles whom? To , both children look very much alike," Yang Chuxia mused, puzzled. Could it be that a physician’s sensitivity to acupoints translated to a keen perception of facial features?
"Haven’t you noticed sothing different about the eyes of the two children?"
Seeing her earnest attempt to recognize the differences, Mu Shaoling suddenly laughed.
