Vol 2 Chapter 194: Ten Thousand Blossoms, Graceful Blooming
"Ti Ya, this is the report sent from Lantern Town. This month's production has increased quite a bit again."
Within Sunblaze Garden, Sylutia stood amidst a sea of flowers when a familiar voice ca from behind her.
"Alright, let see." She turned around and took the report Rachel handed over.
Looking at the data reported on it, Sylutia nodded, then asked a few more questions.
"It seems Elton is doing very well." Ever since Sylutia was transferred to Sunblaze Garden, the affairs of Lantern Town had been handed over to Elton for managent. He was previously the chief gardener in the town and had now also stepped into the Third Tier, becoming a full mber of the Four Seasons Alliance.
Although Sylutia was no longer in Lantern Town, the distance between the two places was only 1-2 days' journey, so she could still manage so important matters and directions for Lantern Town.
"According to the intentions of the upper echelons of the Alliance, Lantern Town is about to undergo its fourth round of expansion and will probably be renad a city." Sylutia ntioned the recent news she had heard.
"So fast? Lantern Town has only been established for three years." Rachel counted on her fingers.
"Three years is not short. Furthermore, the Alliance attaches great importance to the developnt of the Darkmist Mountains, so they have invested a lot of resources and manpower. Building a city is also a piece of cake." Sylutia shook her head slightly.
"Lantern Town now has two thousand permanent residents, and nearly one thousand temporary residents. It really can be upgraded to a city." She still felt a bit nostalgic for the small town from the early days, with its few mbers, where everyone worked together and slowly built it up.
"I was very worried I wouldn't do well at the ti, after all, I had no managent experience. I didn't even know how to establish authority, or how to make everyone listen to ." Recalling that ti, Sylutia revealed a sowhat nostalgic smile.
"But I thought Ya handled it very easily back then." Rachel rested her hands behind her head, a bit confused.
"That's just how it looked to you. I was running around everywhere every day, recording data, then hiding in the office constantly calculating and planning, terrified of ssing up and becoming a laughingstock among you all." The young woman shook her long hair ends.
"I was only Second Tier back then, and even younger than many of you. If you all were unconvinced and didn't follow orders, I had no contingency plan to resolve it. I couldn't just fight you all, could I?" She said quietly.
Hearing the young woman's adorable complaints and grumbling, Rachel couldn't help but laugh.
"How could that be? Ya had already won the knight competition championship back then. Everyone actually recognized your strength."
"Besides, most of the team were boys. They had no resistance against a cute and beautiful young lady like you. If it weren't for a few of us protecting you well, you probably would have received all sorts of confessions and love letters every day."
"It was just you who lacked confidence, sotis even feeling embarrassed. I could sense your hesitation several tis when assigning tasks, afraid others would think the tasks were too heavy."
Hearing such words, Sylutia couldn't help but recall those scenes again, having to cover her ears, not wanting to hear Rachel's words and let those images reappear in her mind.
"Alright, alright, let's not continue talking about this. Let's change the topic." Sylutia had to quickly interrupt this sowhat talkative knight captain.
"Recently, the Alliance is preparing for a large-scale cleansing of the secret realms and dangerous places outside the Darkmist Mountains. We will also participate. Have all personnel been allocated?" The young woman turned around.
"All allocated. There are roughly 203 people participating in combat, including 65 Third Tier mbers and 138 Second Tier mbers." Rachel reported succinctly.
"Huh? Do we have that many Third Tier mbers at our garrison?" Hearing the number 65, Sylutia was quite surprised.
"Is it a lot? Seems pretty normal. And that's just the combat personnel. Other Third Tier professionals not participating in combat number about 171." Rachel recalled the data.
"Among them, about 32 were directly transferred by the Alliance. These are mostly research-type scholars and wizards. The rest are mostly our companions who have been with us since Lantern Town days."
"Ahem, so everyone has advanced." Sylutia was a bit slow on the uptake.
"Ya, don't tell you've been so imrsed in studying and flower cultivation that you forgot to pay attention to everyone's progress?" Rachel accidentally hit upon a certain truth.
"Perhaps after coming to Sunblaze Garden, I beca less sensitive to Third Tier companions." Sylutia analyzed and recalled.
"Back in Lantern Town, Third Tier mbers could be counted on one hand. Each had to shoulder many tasks, so I paid extra attention to them back then."
"That was indeed the case back then." Rachel nodded.
"But you shouldn't underestimate everyone. After all, they all followed you, this great genius."
"Influenced by you, the gardeners in the town generally advanced extrely quickly. The first and second batches of gardener apprentices from back then have now basically all stepped into the Third Tier."
"You gifted quite a few cornflowers to everyone back then. Those resources weren't wasted. Many apprentices used those cornflowers to make potions to enhance their Aspects, or used the products they made to exchange for many resources, speeding up their progress."
"Unlike you, those who ca to develop the Darkmist Mountains were mostly senior apprentices who had been Second Tier for many years, not far from the Third Tier. They just needed sufficient resources and practical experience to step across the Third Tier threshold."
"Because of the successful developnt of Lantern Town and the establishnt of Sunblaze Garden, we early mbers received a large amount of Hidden Grove Alliance points and contributions. The gains over these years are several tis that of other trainees at the sa stage."
"With abundant resources and everyone having enough money, they could learn many courses they couldn't afford before, obtaining various materials and secret arts for advancent, so the success rate naturally increased."
"While you weren't paying attention, the number of Third Tier mbers just climbed up like this." After explaining the situation, Rachel finished.
"So that's how it is." The young woman nodded.
"Currently in Sunblaze Garden, aside from you, Ya, being Fourth Tier, among the permanent personnel, Dorothy is probably the most likely to advance to Fourth Tier. Her talent was originally high, and the ti since she stepped into Third Tier is about sufficient."
"Is that so? I understand." I need to ask Dorothy recently if she needs any help, Sylutia noted to herself.
After the two finished exchanging information, Rachel left again, starting patrols with the knight team mbers who had arrived. anwhile, Sylutia strolled through the sea of flowers, using the 'Bountiful Wind' swirling and surging around her fingertips to regulate this flower sea, combing through their growth states.
Under her ticulous cultivation, the Bright Fla Cornflowers that were of ordinary quality a year ago had now generally reached 'Rare' quality. And this was not the end. Sylutia faintly felt that she could cultivate all the Bright Fla Cornflowers in this flower sea to 'Perfect' and advance to 'Fourth Tier'.
Suddenly, she looked forward to such a scene. It must be a very beautiful picture.
If only she could paint. Then she could, like her mother, depict, engrave, and create high-tier rare scrolls out of thin air, capturing the passionate and delicate, vibrant essence of that blooming flower sea.
Her fingers lifted. A gentle breeze passed through the hair at her temples and the hem of her clothes, lifting the scattered cornflower petals, making them dance lightly in the air, then gathering into a beautiful floral wreath, finally landing in her palm and condensing into a golden-yellow petal bracelet.
What Lady Franne once accomplished before her, Sylutia could now achieve herself.
[Bright Fla Petal Bracelet] (Third Tier · Verdant Nectar): Ford by condensing, compressing, and arranging cornflower petals possessing the 'Verdant Nectar' Aspect, creating natural Brand textures. Allows the wearer to dispel chill, receive the cornflower's blessing, and resist the corrosive curse of 'Distortion'.
Let this be the gift for stepping into the Third Tier, to give to everyone. This way, she could also make up for her previous regret of not paying good attention and taking care of everyone.
The young woman, cherished by the many people and elders of the Hidden Grove Alliance, received much affection and care during her growth. Nurtured by this warmth, she was also very willing to reciprocate and pass on this tenderness.
Like the sun-doted-upon flower, repaying with a delicate and graceful blooming.
Amidst ten thousand blossoms, this silver-haired young woman stood quietly. Many petals drifted within her eyes, and the fiery orange-red glow spilling from them also dyed her pupils a faint, fla-like orange-gold.
