"I-impossible!" Zhenyu fell on his butt, his eyes wide with terror as Qingyi’s murderous intent fell on them.
The other two tried to react, but all it took was a single movent from Qingyi and two bloody heads rolled across the floor.
"Ah... do you know what your mistake was?" Qingyi knelt down in front of Zhenyu.
"I-I’m sorry, I made a mistake by attacking you, I promise you that-" Zhenyu’s words were interrupted by a powerful punch, which smashed his nose in an explosion of blood.
"That too, but not just that." This ti, it was Qingyi who smiled as Zhenyu coughed up blood.
"You, unfortunately, were born into the wrong family of bastards."
Qingyi pressed the heaven-defying thunder sword against Zhenyu’s feet, his lightning sword Qi flowing to the sharp tip and then into the young master’s skin, destroying everything it touched.
"Now... what do you say you answer a few questions for ?" Qingyi asked.
For long minutes, all that remained in that cave were cries of pain and despair, each interspersed with a question from Qingyi.
Zhenyu didn’t have much important knowledge, but Qingyi at least managed to find out a lot about the power of the Lei family.
He didn’t plan to deal with them now, that was sothing for Qingxue herself to do when they got stronger, but obviously, any information would help.
When Zhenyu’s body finally lost all its strength and stopped responding, Qingyi turned towards the gate.
"Elize, can you still feel that energy?" Qingyi asked.
"Yes, it’s stronger actually, much stronger." She replied, her sweet, mature voice trembling.
"Hang in there, I’ll deal with it in a mont."
Qingyi pressed his hands against the stone gate, the arrays of which lit up briefly before snapping and the gate began to open.
The mont Qingyi could see what was inside, he felt Elize’s already unstable emotions beco even more chaotic.
"L-little purple?" She called out, her beautiful eyes wide.
She was only six years old when her family decided to get rid of her and her mother was forced to teleport her to this place.
She naturally rembered almost nothing of her family.
Well, almost nothing with three exceptions.
The first was her mother, whose only mory was of her last words and her last gentle smile.
The second was her older sister, whose face was already close to becoming a forgotten blur in her mory.
And the third was a beast with black scales and purple eyes, never taken by any knight since her family was founded and said to have been bred for the battlefield and nothing else.
"A western dragon?" Qingyi’s eyes widened as he took a step back, observing the peacefully sleeping creature whose body easily exceeded thirty ters in length.
Suddenly, a huge pair of purple, draconic eyes opened, their black scales shimring terrifyingly and the ground shaking as the dragon stood up.
The dragon looked at Qingyi, sniffing the air.
The ferocity in its eyes seed to disappear for a brief mont, as if it had caught a glimpse of sothing familiar.
Unfortunately for Qingyi, that didn’t last long as the dragon opened its mouth full of sharp teeth and its huge claws tore up the ground.
A deafening roar echoed, its throat lighting up before a torrent of purple flas poured out of its mouth towards Qingyi.
"Shit, that’s not Qi!" Qingyi’s shock grew even deeper as his body was covered in black scales.
Those flas were hot enough to lt stone, but fortunately, Qingyi’s black scales held out.
"Elize, what do you an ’little purple?’ Do you know this beast?" Qingyi asked, rembering the purple-haired beauty’s words.
"I-I don’t know, I-I..." Elize could barely form words, her voice tearful and broken.
"Qingyi, this is an immortal heaven beast, but its power is greatly diminished, just try to hold on, I’ll think about what to do." Ruxue warned.
"Shit..." Gritting his teeth, Qingyi moved his draconic Qi out of his body, a colossal silhouette appearing on his back.
The mont this silhouette appeared, the dragon stopped spitting flas, its piercing purple eyes focused on the eyes of the dragon above Qingyi, its scales also black and its eyes, also purple.
All black dragons had purple eyes, just as all golden dragons had blue eyes and all white dragons had golden eyes.
The two dragons stared at each other for a brief mont before opening their jaws at the sa ti, two bestial roars echoing, the whole mountain trembling under their power.
The suppression coming from Qingyi’s bloodline had certainly diminished the beast’s power trendously, but it still had enough to fight.
Stopping its roar, the dragon advanced towards Qingyi, its sharp teeth closing around the handso young man as it bit down.
Qingyi opened his arms, grabbing the beast’s jaws and preventing it from crushing him.
Looking inside its throat, he saw the world light up, its flas hitting him with full force.
"Ah... you asked for it." Qingyi gritted his teeth as he stepped back, the beast’s jaw closing inches from his face with a bang.
He retracted his right hand, forcing every bit of strength he had into his arm before punching.
A shockwave spread as the sheer pressure of Qingyi’s blow caused the stone around him to crumble into dust.
The dragon’s thirty-ter-plus body was thrown backwards, the scales on its snout subtly cracking.
A painful roar escaped its mouth as it fell to the ground, trying to get up.
Its eyes focused on Qingyi’s, carrying more hatred than ever.
"That’s dangerous..." Qingyi spat out a gulp of blood.
He had already used half of his normal Qi and his bloodline projection was devouring his draconic Qi like an endless black hole.
If he didn’t finish that battle in thirty seconds...
"I’m sorry Elize, but I’m going for the kill." Qingyi prepared to use the first form of the Storm Monarch’s sword art and the beast advanced towards him with a thunderous roar.
"WAIT!" A sweet, feminine voice echoed and the heaven-defying thunder sword flashed as a curvaceous figure appeared between Qingyi and the dragon.
