"Husband... do we really need to do that?" Xueyao asked, already outside the world of the mind, her tail curling nervously around her legs.
"It’s just training," Qingyi stretched. "Like the priestesses of Ruxue do, don’t you want to help your husband out a bit?"
He had dedicated a few hours of his day to compensating Elize and Xueyao before finally proposing to train a bit with the voluptuous fox before returning to the alliance.
During this "compensation", he gained a fortune of lust points, enough to make another breakthrough and reach the second stage of the rebirth realm.
Honestly, he was feeling that the amount of Qi needed to advance had increased by an absurd margin.
If it hadn’t been for Xueyao, he would probably have needed months of cultivation to build up a minimally acceptable base, even with his spiritual roots.
"But... what if I hurt you?" The little fox spoke, her eyes shining with anxiety.
"Ah... do you really doubt your husband that much?" Qingyi slapped himself hard on the chest. "I’m stronger than I look."
Despite Qingyi’s confidence, Xueyao still hesitated.
She may have seed like an adorable woman with almost no knowledge of the outside world, and she really was.
But she still knew her own strength well.
After a mont’s thought, she finally circulated her Qi.
Qingyi prepared himself, obviously not planning to use his sword.
Although he called it training, he just wanted Xueyao to attack him so that he could get a better idea of her power.
He had seen her attack before, but simply seeing an attack was different from receiving it.
Xueyao closed her eyes and this ti, she didn’t turn into a fox.
Her white dress fluttered, revealing her soft, creamy thighs, rubbing against each other nervously as she prepared herself.
The mont her eyes opened, a powerful icy Qi appeared, far more intense than anything Qingyi had ever experienced.
’This is no ordinary ice Qi!’ Qingyi exhaled, taking a defensive stance.
That Qi was unlike anything he had ever experienced in his life, a cold so deep that it seed to penetrate his bones.
Xueyao’s eyes changed, their blue losing the excited, curious gleam they had always had.
A soft, sweet sigh escaped her lips as she pointed a single finger towards Qingyi, all that Qi gathering at the tip.
The next mont, she launched it.
Qingyi imdiately used his ice wall and covered his entire body with the black dragon’s scales, but it still wasn’t enough.
The ice wall barely lasted a mont and the scales covering his body crackled as he was thrown backwards, the ice quickly spreading across his body.
He flew for almost five hundred ters before finally managing to get a grip on himself, plunging the heaven-defying thunder sword into the ground.
"Shit... what kind of icy Qi is that?" Qingyi wondered, surrounding his body with flas.
Even so, the silvery-black ice covering his body had barely begun to lt.
"It’s probably related to the law that Xueyao dominated when she beca a transcendent," Ruxue’s voice echoed in Qingyi’s mind.
"Ah... how is that even possible?" The handso young man asked, struggling to get up.
It was only when he called upon his lineage projection that he finally managed to overco Xueyao’s Qi, the ice rapidly lting.
"Transcendent laws are complicated things, each cultivator has just one and carries it with them for their entire life.
So have abstract laws, so have laws that can increase their physical resistance, others have laws that can fuse elents or even change their compositions completely..
If you still plan to try to fuse fire and ice, focusing the awakening of your law on that is the way to go."
Qingyi listened to Ruxue’s explanation before sighing.
The laws carried by transcendents were much more complicated things than he had imagined.
"Husband!" Xueyao appeared on the horizon, her huge breasts swaying as she ran towards Qingyi, her eyes already watering.
"Sorry! I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry! I didn’t an to hurt you!" She threw herself into Qingyi’s arms, staining his robes with tears.
"It’s okay, you didn’t hurt ." Qingyi smiled; Xueyao’s attack had been powerful, but she hadn’t really managed to do any real damage to his body.
Of course, this wasn’t a killing technique and she clearly hadn’t put all her power into it, but even so, Qingyi had a clear idea of how powerful she was.
If he were to face the leader of the demon cult right now, he would guess that he could at least keep up with him, provided Qingyi used his bloodline projection, of course.
With a sigh, he looked at the huge dragon behind him.
With such power and imposing stature... who could be a match for him in this world?
"Did I really not hurt the husband?" Xueyao caught Qingyi’s eye again, her ears lowered, as was her tail.
"You didn’t," Qingyi smiled, stroking Xueyao’s head before kissing her lips. "Your husband is very strong... don’t even think about protecting him, because he’s the one who will protect you."
Those words made Xueyao’s face blush.
"I rember the matriarch telling that a man only truly protects a woman when he wants to have puppies with her.
The husband wants to have puppies with Xueyao? Xueyao is ready!" The voluptuous little fox exclaid excitedly. Her tail was wagging uncontrollably, her ears perked up.
"Well..." Qingyi scratched his chin.
Generally, any cultivator above the foundation realm would only have children if she wanted to, having almost total control over her fertility level.
They couldn’t increase it, but they could suppress it.
Because of the naturally low fertility brought on by his draconic lineage, it was quite difficult for Qingyi to have children, but still possible, especially if he bought pills to increase his fertility.
Looking at the little fox’s bright gaze, what else could Qingyi do except give in?
Turning his face, Qingyi looked at a figure with skin as pale as snow, long black hair in a ponytail and purple eyes as beautiful as the finest athyst.
Ruxue crossed her arms, forcing her huge breasts upwards as she looked away, blushing.
Apparently Xueyao wasn’t the only one who wanted children.
