The mont they heard Qingyi's words, both Lioran and Xuefeng felt their hearts fill with rage.
"Who the hell do you think you are to dare show such disrespect? Do you know who my father is?" Lioran roared, his face contorted with fury.
"Hahaha," Qingyi laughed at those words. "I understand if your father abandoned you at birth, but if even you don't know, why do you think I would?"
"That's not what I ant!" Lioran gritted his teeth and lunged forward, slashing at Qingyi with his claws.
To his surprise, the handso young man dodged easily. His attack managed to do nothing more than cut a few strands of Qingyi's hair.
The next mont, Lioran felt intense pain on his face.
A punch from Qingyi hit him full on, breaking so of his teeth and sending him flying just like Xuefeng.
"S-shit... how?" Lioran asked himself, falling to his knees.
He had noticed that attack, had tried to dodge it. Yet it seed impossible. Qingyi's punch, though slow, followed the perfect trajectory of his dodge, hitting his face with trendous force.
How had Qingyi managed that, even with his low cultivation?
Xuefeng and Lioran exchanged glances.
The humiliation they had just suffered at Qingyi's hands had completely erased the enmity between them.
They needed to get rid of Qingyi first.
The handso young man naturally realized this and, honestly, was even glad that the two of them would fight together. He really needed to test the limits of his lineage.
Lioran was the first to move. A deep Qi spread around him and the huge figure of a lion appeared on his back, roaring at Qingyi.
Xuefeng followed soon after. An enormous white dragon materialized on his back, not inferior to Lioran's lion. Both manifestations reached dozens of ters, their thunderous roars scaring everyone for miles.
"What, did you finally realize what a ss you're in?" Xuefeng shouted, barely noticing as Qingyi shook his head.
"Hm... what a pathetic little display," Qingyi comnted, flashing a gentle smile.
Since this was how they wanted to play, he would join in too.
The mont his voice fell, the world around him distorted.
A deep tremor spread through Xuefeng and Lioran as they noticed the figure that had appeared behind Qingyi.
It was easily more than two hundred ters from head to tail, its size was large enough to be spotted for miles. Its roar caused tremors even in the distant city.
They both took hasty steps backwards, eyes trembling as they felt their own lineage projections failing, severely suppressed by Qingyi.
Xuefeng was the most affected, barely able to breathe in front of Qingyi.
His bloodline scread in terror as his cultivation to the peak of the False Immortal realm was severely suppressed.
"Fuck... you go left and I'll go right. No matter how strong his bloodline is, he won't be able to overco the difference in cultivation!" Xuefeng growled at Lioran, who just nodded.
They both split up, each going one way.
Although their lineages weren't weak, they were only mortal grade lineages.
They would be a big deal in the mortal heavens, but there they only had a small advantage over cultivators with no lineage, incomparable to one like Qingyi's.
The mont he found himself surrounded, Qingyi smiled and jumped. Their attack t nothing but empty air.
Turning his body in the air, Qingyi stretched out his hand. A flaming spear appeared in his grasp.
Without hesitation, he threw it into the empty space between them. A loud explosion spread through the forest, with two scorched figures appearing soon after.
Naturally, their Qi's were powerful enough to withstand that explosion, especially as it was only the first spear, but they still suffered so internal damage.
Qingyi stretched out his hand again. A second spear appeared, flying at frightening speed towards Xuefeng and Lioran, who were standing next to each other.
At the sa ti, he spread his ice Qi across his feet, freezing the ground below. A tsunami of ice ford towards the two opponents.
Xuefeng and Lioran were so focused on Qingyi's spear that they only noticed the ice Qi when it was too late.
Their feet were stuck in place as an explosion of flas engulfed them.
Qingyi was about to summon the third spear when the two broke through the cloud of smoke that followed the explosion.
To his surprise, they were both running desperately in the opposite direction, activating their movent techniques.
Qingyi even considered chasing after them, thinking that this could be a problem in the future, but then shook his head. He turned towards the large cave entrance on the side of the mountain.
He had another goal there and didn't need to waste ti on those cowards. If they wanted to go back to die, Qingyi would be waiting.
Sighing, he entered the cave, wondering what had triggered the greed of so many cultivators.
"Steel-shelled turtle..." Qingyi scratched his chin, rembering the words Xuefeng had spoken.
If it was what he was thinking, it certainly wouldn't be an easy beast to deal with.
After reflecting for a brief mont, Qingyi just followed the path, descending further and further into the deep cave.
Suddenly, a powerful pulse of Qi reached him, spreading throughout the cave.
Qingyi stopped for an instant. A second pulse of Qi made him realize sothing: whatever that beast was, it was fighting soone!
Gritting his teeth, he hurried forward.
He soon reached a chamber deep in the cave, where he saw a beast whose size was not impressive, but whose exhaled power was absurdly terrifying, even for him.
It was about fifteen ters long and easily over thirty tons. Its black hull stood up like a bowl of solid steel, its head leaving its protection only to try to engulf its opponent.
Although he shuddered slightly at the creature's Qi, it wasn't the creature that shocked him.
It didn't even co close to the shock he felt when he saw a figure of incomparable beauty and short orange hair fighting against him.
