Now reading: Chapter 569 Don't fall behind, old man from The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System, a Smut novel by SillyDaoist.

"Hm... watching the younger generation train is a good pasti. You'll understand when you're older and, well... no longer have my beautiful granddaughters by your side."

Lucios shook his head, taking a sip of tea.

"Don't worry, old man. They will always be by my side." Qingyi laughed, puffing out his chest as he sat down next to the old man.

He also watched the young people training, scratching his chin.

In the martial world, sects usually focused on only one style of combat, most often reflecting the martial arts of their founding

ancestor.

Sects such as the Ascending Dragon Sect and the Eternal River Sect, of which Qingyi had been a part in the mortal heavens, were exceptions that focused on various types of combat, alchemy, and even spiritual formations.

The sa was even more striking in large families, which usually possessed few, or perhaps only a single, high-level combat manual, also reflecting the arts of their ancestor.

The Vaeldrinn seed to be of the second type. The type that gave its mbers the freedom to practice various styles of martial arts.

Among those young boys and girls, there were warriors with dual swords, light swords, axes, and even a girl who used a bow and arrow. The latter was undoubtedly the most unique. She shot arrows while moving with agility, using the steel string of her bow as if it were a sharp blade.

"What do you think of them?" Lucios asked, pouring tea for Qingyi as well.

"They're... eccentric. How many of them are talented enough to reach the twelfth ring?" Qingyi already knew the answer, but he wanted to

hear what the old man thought.

"One... the others will hardly make it past the eleventh." Lucios replied without hesitation, eliciting a sigh from Qingyi.

"Two of them will reach the twelfth ring. The girl with the bow and the young man with the great sword," Qingyi said, looking at the two and activating his draconic eyes.

Their ridians were powerful and although they were at the sa level as the others, their mana hearts were of a much higher quality than their peers.

But that wasn't all.

Above all, they were unique in the way they used their weapons.

This uniqueness could be both a curse and a blessing in the martial world.

On the one hand, the path of an eccentric could only be forged by oneself and often resulted in miserable failures.

On the other hand, almost all of the greatest martial experts were eccentrics, for only by walking a path that was uniquely theirs could they live beyond the shadows of the greats of the past.

If they didn't die early and continued to follow their own path, Qingyi believed that the two had at least a sixty percent chance of reaching the twelfth ring before a thousand years.

"Hmm..." Lucios did not respond to Qingyi's words, which had been different from his own.

He felt a little embarrassed that he couldn't see what Qingyi saw in those boys and girls, and he didn't question his vision.

He was much older, yes. But the fact was that he had already been surpassed by Qingyi.

"How about we train a little?" Lucios stood up. "These old bones will rust and break if I keep them still for so long."

"We should go kill so green skins." Qingyi smiled. "They're a problem for both elves and humans, right? Exterminating them would be a good pasti."

"Green skins?" Lucios looked confused. "They're days away from here. Do you think we have ti for such a journey?"

He didn't dislike the idea.

Green skins, whether orcs, goblins, or kobolds, had always been an endless plague to his people and to humans.

They reproduced at an alarming rate, and orcs in particular could basically mass-produce transcendent specialists.

Their personalities were little different from those of demons, and for

every one killed, ten more were born in its place.

"Don't worry about ti or distance." Qingyi laughed, grabbing the old man's shoulder. "None of that matters to ."

As his voice fell, a spatial fold swallowed the two of them.

Soon, the youngsters who had been watching them were left alone,

confused and shocked.

What the hell had they just seen?

***

The swamps of the green skins, at the western edge of the western

continent.

It was a region slightly larger than twice the size of the Kingdom of Valemont, completely filled with nothing but beasts and bloodthirsty

monsters.

So were weak, others strong enough to rival even Lucios himself.

And it wasn't just one.

There were dozens of orc leaders with similar power, with more being spawned with each death.

Many said that the Green Skins did not dominate the world and establish themselves as an absolute power only because they were too stupid and were always fighting, always killing each other.

While the rest of the world cald down and celebrated the death of the avatar of the Heavenly Demon, the orcs were depressed. The blood-red sky was an on of war for everyone, the tremors that

engulfed the entire world bringing even more certainty of this.

They even gathered in a huge camp with over forty million orcs, waiting for the gods of war to descend upon them and take them to

an eternal battlefield.

But nothing happened.

The red sky dissipated and the world returned to peace.

They had been waiting for the arrival of these gods for more days

than most could count.

Naturally, with so many orcs cramd into such a tight space,

conflicts began to erupt among the warlords.

It was only a matter of ti before everything dissolved into a bloody

civil war.

Fortunately, none of that was necessary.

On a clear, warm afternoon, two figures appeared in the skies, with

sharp gazes and frightening power.

When the first explosion engulfed the orc camp and chaos spread,

those who had been eagerly awaiting war could only jump for joy.

Finally, they could put their blades to good use.

Side by side, Qingyi and Lucios watched the horde of orcs converging toward them with excited, crazed eyes.

The weakest were in the third ring. The strongest were in the twelfth.

"Don't fall behind, old man." Qingyi smiled, beginning the slaughter.
