Young Master Luo wanted to hurt Qingyi.
He wanted to cause him pain, no matter what it took.
Before, he had targeted Qingyi simply because he was by Chen Wei's side.
But everything had changed.
Qingyi had, in fact, humiliated him in front of hundreds of other disciples, and while everyone roared with laughter, even Instructor Cangyun wore a subtle, amused smile on his aged face.
Young Master Luo hated that, his face red as a tomato.
As he looked up and saw Qingyi staring at him, as if he were an annoying fly unworthy even of a smile, the bitterness in Young Master Luo's chest intensified.
He wanted to inflict pain and despair on that face. He wanted to see him scream.
Young Master Luo's footsteps were heavy, echoing through the courtyard until he finally reached the top of the arena where the old man Cangyun stood.
Lifting his gaze, he stared at Qingyi.
The handso young man rely shook his head, climbing onto the arena as well.
When the old man left the arena, a pair of cold, deadly eyes fell upon Master Luo.
"Yesterday I said you were Chen Wei's enemy, not mine. I'll give you three seconds to back down before I show you what I ant by that." Qingyi's words echoed through the arena, and before Young Master Luo could even respond, the countdown began.

Confusion spread among the spectators. Even Old Cang seed confused.
"You arrogant bastard, do you really think this little act will save your life?" Young Master Luo roared, summoning all the courage he had.
He could feel Qingyi's terrifying murderous intent. The intent of soone who had already killed millions, no... tens of millions.

Young Master Luo drew his sword, ready to cut Qingyi in half.
"3." He took a step forward, his body surging with power.

Instructor Cang was the only one who remained calm, scratching his beard with curiosity.
It was natural.
His cultivation level was many realms above Qingyi's, at a level where the young man's entire aura would seem like a drop in a well compared to his own.
What shocked him was just how powerful Qingyi appeared against an opponent of the sa realm.
A difference of thirty or forty percent wasn't uncommon.
But Qingyi seed to easily possess twice the power of Young Master Luo, perhaps even more.
"A waste of Qi, oxygen, and carbon." Qingyi spat and then threw Young Master Luo backward.
The body crashed to the ground with a thud. Lifting his face, coughing heavily, Young Master Luo opened his eyes.
It was just in ti for the sole of Qingyi's boot to slam into his mouth.
He was thrown out of the arena with a crash, his jaw bloody and shattered.
Fortunately, he hadn't suffered any damage to his ridians, so it wouldn't be difficult to recover from those injuries.
Silently, under the shocked gazes of his fellow disciples, Qingyi returned to his place beside Chen Wei, whose eyes were shining.
In the end, he, as Young Master Luo's enemy, was the biggest winner
there.
"You know he's going to complain to Guo Tianhao, right?" Chen Wei whispered beside Qingyi, who nodded.
Tianhao was not the sa as Young Master Luo.
Tianhao had real talent and combat ability, despite being just another arrogant young master in front of Qingyi.

impressed though he didn't want to show it. "Why would a young man with such potential be here, listening to this old man speak to diocrities, when he could be forging his own path?"
Cangyun's words caused bitterness to appear on the faces of many outer disciples.
Well, most of them were, in fact, diocre. Only four or five had the potential to even beco inner disciples.
Still, hearing that really hurt them.
"If the instructor allows to be disrespectful, I'm honestly only here to accompany a friend and, well, to see if young Master Luo would keep his promise to defeat in a duel, hahaha." Qingyi was unable to hide a soft chuckle.
"I plan to participate in the selection for the pavilion master in a few months, and right after this class, I'll start taking on missions." "Hm... that's understandable." Though disappointed, Cangyun didn't try to convince Qingyi to continue with his classes.
He was already used to teaching only the diocre. Those with true talent always ended up torn between two possibilities: either they forged their own path, or they found a master powerful enough to honor their talent.
After reflecting for a mont longer, Cangyun changed the subject.
"Very well, this sparring was enough. Let's begin the lesson."
Soon after, with enthusiasm, old Cangyun began passing on all his knowledge of Qi to those young people.
Although Qingyi had already made it clear that he would not participate in future classes, he still watched in silence, paying close
attention.
It was rare to receive teachings from such an accomplished expert,
and even he was introduced to concepts of Qi manipulation he had no idea even existed.
