Chen Wei thrust his spear forward with terrifying force.
The silver blade sliced through the air with a sharp whistle, passing re inches from the body of young Master Luo, who threw himself haphazardly to the ground to avoid the blow.
The disciple behind him, however, was not so lucky. The sharp tip pierced him through the chest, his lungs bursting with a wet sound as blood gushed up his throat.
With the unfortunate young man still impaled on the blade, Chen Wei swung the weapon to the side, using his own body as a hamr
against five other disciples.
A sharp crack echoed through the arena and the wounded bodies were hurled into the air, unable to withstand the crushing force behind the movent.
He withdrew the spear, spun it around his body in one fluid motion, and slamd it into the ground with a thunderous impact, a thick cloud of dust rising as an invisible pressure hurled the six struck n out of the arena.
Just three moves, and the twenty opponents had been reduced to fourteen.
Even the beauty behind Chen Wei, who had known him for a few weeks and had trained with him countless tis before, was unable to hide the shock on her face.
Since when had he been this powerful?
Chen Wei smiled, his cold eyes resting on the young Master Luo.
"You'll be the last. Prepare to despair."
The mont Young Master Chen's voice fell, his body vanished, the blade tearing through the air at a terrifying speed toward Young Master Luo's henchn, provided by none other than Guo Tianhao
himself.
Screams of despair echoed as Young Master Chen delivered severe but non-lethal blows, severing limbs, shattering internal organs, and with every swing of his spear, staining the marble floor beneath his feet with vivid crimson.
He didn't kill them; after all, they were disciples too, and killing so many of them openly in front of so many onlookers would be far too problematic.
When the last of the henchn fell to the ground and Young Master Luo found himself completely alone against Chen Wei, despair took hold of his mind.

"Enough!" The inner disciple roared, unleashing his aura along with his authority, the pressure crushing the air around him. "The competition is over! Lower your weapon this very instant!"
Chen Wei ignored him completely.
The spear pierced Young Master Luo's chest, and he twisted it with brutal force, tearing through flesh and organs until all that remained in the center of his body was a bloody, huge hole.
The inner disciple roared with rage and arrogance, unleashing the aura of the peak of the Celestial Ascension Realm.
Chen Wei's knees buckled, but he didn't give way, his face set with determination as the inner disciple advanced with quick, furious strides.
"I ordered you to stop the fight. Why did you continue? Do you think the authority of an inner disciple can be ignored so easily? You

"My master always taught never to forgive those who set their
sights on my won. If you want to speak to that way, you'd better kiss his feet first!" Chen Wei replied to the senior disciple, his
words shocking everyone present.

Qingyi, who had been watching everything in silence, rely shook his head with a gentle smile on his lips.
Since when had he taught him those things?
In the end, seeing the inner disciple's sword gleaming with pure murderous intent, he decided it was ti to intervene.

Hearing that, Chen Wei didn't hesitate, rushing toward the flushed beauty and placing a healing pill between her lips.

fine powder beneath the skin.
The pain was insane, but nowhere near as intense as the pain of
Qingyi's boots eting his teeth, hurling him out of the arena
toothless and with his jaw shattered.
"Make sure Guo Tianhao knows that I'll be coming after him soon,
too." Qingyi growled, barely giving the inner disciple a second glance as the latter pounded the ground in impotent fury.
He spat out blood and fragnts of teeth, his eyes brimming with
hatred as he planted his feet, burning his own origin essence, feeling so much rage that he simply couldn't control himself.
His body shot forward at lightning speed, but with a single brutal
kick, he was sent flying like a cannonball, tearing through the ground for hundreds of ters and carving a deep crater in a massive rock in
the distance.
