Two coffins were the next items Dante had decided to check.

Dante didn’t expect the coffin to be used that way, even though that was literally what coffins were made for. Why the hell would Greed keep a corpse?
Dante tried to open the coffin, but he struggled to open it due to its weight.

After enhancing his body, he finally opened it only enough to see what was inside.
’Huh? Is that a... demon?’
There was a naked demon corpse inside. He had fair skin and bluish-black hair. Two big horns rose from the sides of his head, having the sa color as his hair, and there was a jar that had a glowing ethereal butterfly inside.

"I don’t recomnd ssing with the butterfly, as that’s his soul."
’What?!’ Dante looked at Greed with shock, and then looked at the jar again.
Next, Greed added: "You’re looking at a twin here. They were my servants. This one is a pride demon who has the power of Rank 4."
"His soul is separated from his body, which allows you to store the coffin in your ring if you want to. And the jar is enchanted in a way that makes you able to store a soul inside the ring."
’Wait, why would you do that? Are you telling there is a way to revive them?’ Dante asked with a frown.
"Yes, just shatter the jar and let the butterfly go to its body." Greed nodded: "Hehe. Additionally, they can be used to raise the demon bloodline and so stats if you absorb them."
’Damn you!’ Dante closed the coffin without hesitation before storing it in his ring with the jar.
So he had made so preparations not only for the dragon bloodline, but also for the demon bloodline?
’And considering that he’d absorb the stats of a Rank 4 being before advancing in rank... that guy was planning to beco a monster at Rank 2!’
Dante shook his head and moved to the other coffin. But the second he opened the coffin, he closed it imdiately, his cheeks turning as red as a tomato.

"And you’re truly lucky, to be honest. If she was Rank 4, that quick glance would have prevented you from ever closing the coffin. And trust , sleeping with a lust demoness, even if she was dead, would be more harmful than you can imagine."
’And you slept with Sin of Lust for months?’ Dante’s eyes widened, rembering what the dark entity said about Greed’s relationship with Lust.
"I’m the exception." Greed whispered with pride in his voice, but didn’t provide any explanation.
Dante sighed helplessly before storing the coffin. This one specifically would need Dante to have a high Mind stat only to open it for a few minutes.
After the heat between his legs cald, Dante moved to the last item in this space.
It was the mask.
Dante examined the smooth mask that seed to be unaffected by all the light before channeling his ether.

Dante stared at the item’s description with a deadpan expression.

"Co on, destroy it." Greed laughed: "Maybe you can use a spiral abyssal slash and test it, right? Is there anything better than the ancestor of the Greed Bloodline to destroy the ancestor of the Greed Bloodline?"
Dante ignored Greed and summoned two shadow wolves to attack the relic.
They slashed and bit it. However, it didn’t even move from its place.
’How is it still fixed in its place?’ Dante wondered before manipulating a wolf to attack the table.

The table shattered into pieces, and a small shard flew to Ruby, making her shiver, but nothing happened to the mask.
Dante summoned his dagger and handed it to a wolf. The wolf moved to the mask with the dagger in its mouth and stabbed it.

The wolf kept the edge of the dagger in contact with the mask, but the dagger couldn’t decay the mask even after a minute.
’Umm... what now?’
Dante stood before a hard decision.
He had three options now, and he had to choose quickly, because he had only 15 minutes left.
He could keep trying to shatter the mask for the next 15 minutes, and he’d have to use his demonic energy or even the one-ti use ability that the dagger had.
The second option was to just ignore the mask and see what would happen to it after 15 minutes.
And the last option was to just take the mask.
’Yeah, let’s remove the first option. If that thing wasn’t even scratched from an ether bolt, then nothing is going to destroy it, and using demonic energy to destroy a demonic relic is foolish!’
That left Dante with only two options—leave it or take it.
"Take it of course." Greed offered: "In your opinion, what would be the best relic for soone like who has to hide from so powerful beings?"
Dante’s eyes shrank as the realization struck him imdiately, especially when he thought about the fact that the relic was a mask!
"You got it right, it’s ’hiding’." Greed smirked: "This relic will easily allow you to hide whatever you want to hide, whether it be your bloodlines, soul, or Crown of Existence. So long as you don’t want them to appear, they won’t appear."
"Dante, will you truly abandon such a relic?"
