{Third Person}

Amara slept for almost an hour before finally waking. By then, Alexander had already left her bedroom.

Only Mrs. Woods remained beside her, adjusting the blankets carefully while Ginger slept curled near Amara’s legs.

"How are you feeling now, My Lady?" Mrs. Woods asked gently after noticing her awake.

Amara blinked a few tis, still slightly drowsy. "The itching reduced," she admitted softly while sitting up slowly. "And I don’t feel as cold as before."

Mrs. Woods smiled faintly, though her mind imdiately drifted toward the Alpha Prince.

The mont he held Amara’s hand earlier, her condition had visibly eased.

At the ti, even Mrs. Woods noticed it clearly when she stepped in after Barron was chased away.

Still, she kept that observation to herself.

---

anwhile, on the other side of the residence, Alexander had already returned to his study.

The more he thought about Amara’s condition, the more unsettled he beca.

None of it felt ordinary.

And especially not the fact that she visibly cald after prolonged contact with his warmth.

Finally, after remaining silent for a long while, Alexander spoke. "Send for Helena."

Jasper looked up imdiately. "The physician, Your Highness?"

"Yes."

Jasper nodded and left imdiately.

---

Not long afterwards, Physician Helena arrived at the residence.

She was the sa woman who had once treated Amara’s whip injury months ago. And truthfully, Amara still rembered her.

Helena entered the bedroom calmly with her dical case in hand while Mrs. Woods stepped aside respectfully.

Amara looked slightly surprised seeing her again. "Physician?"

Helena smiled politely. "His Highness requested I examine you."

Amara blinked faintly at that. Still, she cooperated quietly.

The examination lasted a while. Helena checked her pulse repeatedly and asked detailed questions about the itching, body temperature, sleep patterns, and reactions to the weather.

At so point, even Helena herself beca thoughtful. Especially after discovering there were no visible signs of illness.

No poisoning symptoms.

No skin reaction.

No fever.

Nothing dically alarming at all.

Eventually, she returned to Alexander’s study afterwards to report her findings personally.

Alexander listened silently while seated behind his desk. "And?" he finally asked.

Helena hesitated briefly before answering carefully. "There is nothing dically wrong with Her Ladyship."

Alexander’s brows furrowed faintly. "What about the itching?"

Helena shook her head slightly. "I cannot determine any direct cause," she admitted honestly. "At least not dically."

Alexander’s expression darkened slightly. That answer did not satisfy him at all.

Helena continued carefully afterwards, "However... Her Ladyship does possess an extrely cold body constitution."

Alexander’s gaze lifted toward her imdiately.

Helena folded her hands calmly before explaining further.

"So individuals are naturally born with colder constitutions than others. It affects their body temperature, resistance to weather, energy levels, and sotis even long-term health."

Alexander remained silent, allowing her to continue.

"In severe cases," Helena added gently, "it may also affect fertility in the future."

The room fell quiet afterwards. For the first ti since the conversation began, Alexander’s expression shifted noticeably.

It wasn’t shock exactly, but sothing colder and more thoughtful.

"Is there treatnt?" he asked.

Helena slowly shook her head. "For ordinary cold constitutions, there are thods to ease the symptoms temporarily," she explained. "But Her Ladyship’s case is different."

Alexander’s eyes narrowed faintly. "How so?"

Helena hesitated before choosing her words carefully. "Her coldness feels... natural," she admitted. "Not caused by illness, poison, or external damage."

She paused briefly, then added, "It is sothing she was likely born with."

Alexander’s fingers stilled lightly against the desk. ’Born with it.’

Helena continued carefully, "It wasn’t engineered or developed later. This constitution has existed within her body since birth."

Silence settled heavily inside the study.

Strangely, instead of easing Alexander’s suspicions, the explanation only deepened them.

Physician Helena hesitated as the atmosphere in the study had already grown so heavy that even she was cautious with her next words.

Alexander noticed imdiately. "Do you have sothing else to say?" he asked calmly.

Helena lowered her gaze briefly before speaking carefully. "Yes, Your Highness. There is one more thing."

Alexander remained silent, allowing her to continue.

Helena folded her hands properly before saying, "Her Ladyship’s body does not entirely resemble ordinary humans I have treated before."

The room fell quiet.

Alexander’s eyes narrowed faintly.

"What do you an?"

Helena hesitated again before answering honestly.

"When I treated her back injury months ago, I already noticed sothing unusual," she admitted softly. "Her healing speed was faster than expected."

Alexander’s gaze sharpened imdiately. Though he was already aware of that incident... of how Amara healed quickly from the serious whip injuries inflicted on her back, he could help but react at that reminder.

Helena continued carefully, "At first, I thought perhaps I was overthinking. But after a few days of a little investigation, the answer beca clear."

She paused briefly before adding, "Also, after examining her again today... I no longer believe it was a coincidence."

Alexander leaned back slowly in his chair, his expression growing colder and more thoughtful by the second.

"What exactly are you suggesting?" he asked.

Helena quickly lowered her head.

"I am not making accusations, Your Highness," she said carefully. "I only an that Her Ladyship’s body reacts differently from ordinary humans."

Silence settled heavily again. Then Alexander asked directly, "Can you tell what she is?"

Helena imdiately shook her head. "My apologies. I cannot."

Alexander watched her quietly.

"I do not sense anything powerful from Her Ladyship. No unusual spiritual pressure. No magical fluctuation. Nothing strong enough for to reach a proper conclusion," she explained further.

Alexander’s fingers tapped lightly once against the desk before he asked another question.

"Could she be like the mages?"

The mont those words left his mouth, Helena’s face changed instantly, and she dropped to her knees imdiately.

"Your Highness!" Her voice carried genuine alarm now.

Alexander remained calm while watching her reaction.

Helena quickly lowered her head further.

"It is forbidden," she said carefully. "The Mage Tribe is forbidden from marrying werewolves or humans. Such unions are considered world cris."

Her voice grew quieter afterwards. "The punishnt is imdiate execution."

The room beca still.

Alexander’s expression did not change, but Helena continued cautiously, "But... I do not believe Her Ladyship is a mage either."

Alexander’s gaze remained fixed on her. "Why do you think so?"

Helena answered honestly, "Mages possess distinct spiritual energy. Even weak ones carry traces of mysterious aura around them."

She hesitated briefly before adding, "I sensed nothing like that from Her Ladyship."

Then, after a short pause, she said quietly, "And truthfully... I have never heard of any mage possessing such an extrely cold body constitution either."

Alexander fell silent after that.

anwhile, Helena remained kneeling, not daring to lift her head.

The more the discussion continued, the stranger Amara’s existence seed to beco.

And for the first ti in a long while, Alexander found himself standing before sothing he genuinely could not identify.

---

The news about Amara’s condition sohow reached Elowen before evening. And unsurprisingly, she arrived at the residence in a rush.

The mont Amara saw the servants carrying bundles of thick winter furs, warming herbs, and covered baskets behind the Princess, she blinked in confusion.

"Elowen?"

Elowen entered the room looking deeply dissatisfied.

"Honestly," she began dramatically before even sitting down, "my brother truly has no idea how to take care of fragile humans."

Amara stared at her.

Elowen crossed her arms. "Look at you. Winter has barely deepened properly, and you are already suffering."

Amara could not help laughing softly. "I’m not dying."

"You almost froze yourself into illness," Elowen replied imdiately. Then she turned toward the servants and began directing them confidently.

"Place the furs there. No, closer to the fireplace. And the herbs should go to the kitchen imdiately."

Amara watched the entire thing with helpless amusent.

The room sohow beca livelier the mont Elowen arrived. Even Ginger seed affected by it.

Unlike her usual picky behaviour, the cat calmly allowed Elowen to carry her this ti while she continued complaining about Alexander.

"You know what his problem is?" Elowen muttered while stroking Ginger dramatically. "He acts like everyone’s body functions the sa way his does."

Amara smiled faintly while watching her.

Ginger looked particularly adorable today, curled comfortably in Elowen’s arms while wearing one of the tiny winter accessories they bought during their last shopping trip together.

The soft little fur collar around her neck made her look unusually noble.

Elowen imdiately noticed Amara staring and lifted Ginger proudly.

"Look at her," she declared. "She has accepted luxury now."

As if understanding the praise, Ginger owed softly and settled more comfortably against Elowen.

Amara laughed properly this ti. Truthfully, she felt much better with Elowen around.

The strange discomfort from earlier had already reduced slightly, and the room no longer felt as heavy or lonely as before.

After settling down beside her, Elowen finally softened her tone. "Does your body still itch badly?" she asked.

"A little," Amara admitted honestly. "But it’s not as uncomfortable as before."

Elowen sighed in relief. "Good."

Then, naturally, she started blaming Alexander again. "He probably stressed you sohow without realizing it."

Amara blinked in surprise. "What does this have to do with His Highness?"

Elowen looked entirely unconvinced. "My brother is naturally stressful," she replied seriously.

Amara burst into helpless laughter again. Since waking up feeling miserable that morning, she genuinely relaxed.
