{Third Person}

After breakfast, the next morning, Amara settled at the small table near the window in her living room, a stack of parchnt laid neatly before her.

Sunlight filtered in, soft and steady, casting a calm glow over the space.

Ginger sat at her feet, tail curled neatly around her body, unusually well-behaved as she watched Amara’s movents with quiet attention.

Amara dipped the pen into ink and continued writing.

Her expression had softened compared to the past few days. There was a lightness to her now, sothing almost peaceful, as her thoughts drifted between the words on the page and the friends she hadn’t seen in so long.

Every now and then, she paused, staring briefly at what she had written before continuing again, careful and deliberate.

A knock ca shortly after and Mrs. Woods stepped in.

"My lady," she said, "Ms. Nora is here to see you."

Amara’s hand paused mid-sentence. Her brows drew together slightly. "Again?" she muttered under her breath before looking up.

She glanced down at the letters in front of her, then gestured lightly toward them. "I’m occupied at the mont."

Mrs. Woods nodded. "I understand."

She turned and left. About a minute later, she returned.

"I have turned her away," she inford calmly.

Amara exhaled in relief and gave a small nod before lowering her gaze back to the parchnt. But as she resud writing, she noticed that Mrs. Woods hadn’t left.

Her pen slowed, then she looked up again. "Is there sothing else?"

Mrs. Woods hesitated for a brief mont before speaking. "My lady... yesterday and the day before, she also ca by."

Amara blinked, genuinely surprised. "She did?"

Mrs. Woods nodded.

Amara leaned back slightly in her chair, her brows knitting together in confusion.

"Am I holding sothing that belongs to her?" she asked, half-serious. "Why does she keep coming here?"

Mrs. Woods let out a quiet breath before answering.

"At least on the first day, she seed sincere. But now..." she paused slightly, choosing her words carefully, "it is likely she is using this as an excuse to catch a glimpse of His Highness."

Amara stared at her for a mont, clearly trying to process that. "...Is that normal?" she asked.

Mrs. Woods gave a small, knowing look. "My lady, His Highness has never once visited her or called for her since she entered this residence. It would not be surprising if she has grown restless."

Amara’s lips twitched faintly.

Mrs. Woods continued, "And with the recent rumours... about His Highness standing up for you before the Queen..."

She let the rest hang for a mont before finishing, "It is possible she wishes to align herself with you. To gain his attention through you."

Amara let out a soft scoff. "I rember what happened to the last woman who sought His Highness’s attention," she said quietly. "Her death still haunts my dreams."

For a brief mont, the room felt heavier. Then she added, more thoughtfully, "This Ms. Nora’s approach isn’t aggressive... not yet. But I would hate to be used as a pawn."

Her gaze dropped briefly to the letters before lifting again. "If she wants the Alpha Prince’s attention, she should get it herself and not involve ."

Mrs. Woods nodded slightly, understanding her stance. Still, after a mont, she spoke again.

"My lady... it may be better to et her the next ti she cos."

Amara looked at her, a tinge of annoyance slowly settling in her expression.

"That way," Mrs. Woods continued, "she will have no reason to keep coming back. And it will prevent any... misunderstandings that could reach His Highness."

Amara was quiet for a mont. She didn’t like this, but she understood the logic behind it.

Finally, she sighed softly and nodded. "...Alright."

Then she lowered her gaze back to her letters, dipping her pen into ink once more.

Ginger shifted slightly at her feet, brushing lightly against her ankle. Amara’s lips curved faintly.

Across the residence, the atmosphere on Alexander’s side remained quiet and controlled.

He sat in his study, a pair of reading glasses resting low on his nose as he went through a docunt in his hand.

The room was still, with only the faint sound of paper shifting beneath his fingers. Then, a knock ca at the door.

Jasper stepped in, carrying a familiar worn textbook along with a neatly stacked pile of handwritten notes. He walked toward the desk and stopped at a respectful distance.

"Your Highness," he said, "the servants are done copying the textbook. I have cross-checked everything, and the content is complete and accurate."

Alexander lifted his gaze slightly and reached out for the stack. Before his hand could fully settle on it, a soft knock echoed faintly from the front doors of the residence.

Alexander paused. Then, without looking up again, he said calmly, "Let her in."

Jasper was montarily confused since no na had been ntioned, but he did not question it.

"Yes, Your Highness."

He turned and left.

By the ti Jasper reached the entrance, a servant had already opened the door.

Amara stood there, holding three envelopes carefully in her hands.

Jasper’s brows lifted slightly before his expression returned to normal. Inwardly, he couldn’t help but note that Alexander had guessed correctly. Without being told, he already knew who was at the door.

Jasper stepped forward and bowed slightly. "My lady."

Amara nodded politely.

"Please, follow ," he said.

He led her inside without delay, taking her through the corridors to the study. When they arrived, he opened the door for her and stepped aside.

Amara entered, and Jasper closed the door quietly behind her and withdrew.

The mont she stepped in, Alexander lifted his gaze. The first thing he noticed was the letters in her hands.

Amara greeted him softly. "Your Highness."

He acknowledged her with a nod and gestured toward the seat in front of him. "Sit."

As she sat down, he removed his reading glasses and set them aside.

Amara’s eyes moved briefly around the room before landing on the desk. The textbook and the stack of handwritten notes imdiately caught her attention. She understood at once what they were.

’So, they are already done,’ she said to herself, then quickly looked away so as not to appear intrusive.

"I ca to send another letter to my friends," she said, lifting the envelopes slightly.

Alexander nodded toward the table. "Leave them there."

She stretched her hand forward and placed them neatly on the desk.

Without another word, Alexander picked up the textbook and the stack of notes and handed them to her.

"They are ready," he said.

She accepted them carefully.

"But do not submit them yet. Wait for at least three more days," he added.

Though he did not explain his reasoning, Amara already understood. A small smile appeared on her lips.

"Thank you, Your Highness."

He gave a slight nod in response, though his gaze remained on her.

The silence stretched just long enough to make her aware of it.
