Now reading: Chapter 721 720: Time to Become a Tomb Raider." from The Daily Life of the Demon King, a Action novel by GreedHunter.

After the epic Star Wars-style battle for the last piece of pizza between Alex and Dean, a very tense week of work began, during which everyone found their own task. Alex, Dean, and Sam ca to the conclusion that there was no point in simply skimming through mountains of docunts, records, diaries, and books. So instead of setting papers aside at the first hint of a possible lead, they decided to imdiately head to the specific location indicated in the docunts as the site of the artifact.

Fortunately, there were three beings in the bunker capable of teleporting to any corner of the world to check the indicated places. The hardest part of this task was getting Crowley to work, since he wouldn't lift a finger without so personal benefit. But Alex had a reliable way to make Crowley work.

Alex offered him two options: face the consequences or play the role of a taxi to any part of the world. Crowley, not wanting to deal with Alex and knowing his thods, agreed very quickly, although he asked for a symbolic paynt in the form of expensive whiskey. There was no need to negotiate with Castiel at all — he agreed to help without any extra words.

During this week, even the girls didn't sit idle and also began to help, going through the mountain of papers in hopes of finding at least sothing useful. The girls knew the whole truth, but that didn't stop them from participating in such searches. The first thing they actually managed to find in the mountain of docunts, books, and diaries was a very vague ntion of a mystical stone that could not only heal any wounds but also bring the dead back to life.

Enid found this information. She was reading the diary of one of the British n of Letters with a bored expression on her face. At first, Enid didn't pay attention to the entry and continued reading further. But the further she read, the more often ntions of the mystical stone appeared, and the owner of the diary was literally obsessed with it.

"Alex, if the diary has already ntioned so stone multiple tis, can we consider that a lead?" Enid asked, looking up at Alex.

"What kind of stone?" Sam asked, stretching slightly after hearing Enid's question.

"I don't know. It says here that the stone can heal and even resurrect people. Isn't that what we're looking for?" Enid said, pointing to the entries in the diary.

Everyone sitting at the table raised their eyes to Enid, who was pointing her finger at specific lines on the page. Realizing that Enid had found a possible lead in their search, the question arose of who would go to check it. Despite the number of residents in the bunker, no one was eager to go off to who-knows-where to verify whether this so-called mystical stone capable of healing and resurrecting people actually existed.

The girls almost instantly refused, citing the fact that they didn't want to crawl through catacombs under Paris in search of sothing that might not even exist. In the end, only Alex, Dean, and Sam remained, and they had to decide who would go to Paris.

Staring at each other, they put out their hands, preparing to play rock-paper-scissors to determine who would go. Sam quickly lost, throwing paper while Alex and Dean threw scissors. Sighing, Sam went to pack his things before heading to Paris.

Half an hour later, Sam returned with a travel bag over his shoulder, accompanied by Castiel, ready to depart. And to make the search easier for Sam and Castiel, Alex sent along the noisy trio — GIR, MIMI, and Stitch. Sam wanted to refuse this idea, as he knew how much trouble GIR, MIMI, and Stitch could cause. But he simply had no choice and had to accept it.

Six hours later, Sam returned covered in dirt from head to toe, with a very tired expression on his face, as if instead of searching for a mystical stone he had been swimming through the Paris sewer system.

The most satisfied in this situation were GIR, MIMI, and Stitch, who dragged along three bags of treasures they had found in the catacombs. Before anyone could ask Sam what he had gone through, he simply raised his hand and left to take a shower. Because of the stench of sewage wafting around Sam, everyone had to cover their noses with their hands.

"While Sam tries to get rid of this terrible sll, we can look at what our little ones brought back," Alice said with a cheerful smile on her face.

"It must be treasures. They wouldn't drag back the bones of dead people… Right?" Enid said with a smile, noticing the strange silence that followed her words.

Feeling the strange silence, Enid turned her head and saw the silent looks from Alex, Lucina, and Alice, who did not deny the fact that the crazy trio of GIR, MIMI, and Stitch could very well have dragged back ancient bones simply because those bones seed interesting to them.

After that, Enid no longer wanted to look into the bags, afraid of seeing old human bones there. So Alice and Lucina took it upon themselves to check the three bags that GIR, MIMI, and Stitch had brought. At first, GIR, MIMI, and Stitch didn't want to give up their treasure, repeating that it belonged to them.

With so difficulty pulling the trio away from the bags, Lucina and Alice opened one of them. The first thing they saw was a pile of gold coins and jewels. Lucina and Alice exchanged glances, surprised that there really were treasures inside the bag.

"So what's in there? Don't tell this trio brought back old human bones," Dean asked, unable to see the contents of the bag because he was sitting at the other end of the table.

"Gold and jewels…" Alice said, turning her head toward Dean.

"Are you sure? Are those definitely jewels and not bones?" Enid asked cautiously, standing on tiptoes to see the contents of the bag.

Alice nodded and showed the contents of the bag she had managed to take from GIR. Enid and Doll looked inside and saw a bag stuffed to the very top with gold coins, various jewels, and precious stones. Seeing such a quantity of gold and jewels, Dean couldn't help but whistle in surprise.

Wanting to know what was in the other bags, Lucina opened the remaining two, and they contained the sa thing. GIR, MIMI, and Stitch stood off to the side, looking offended at their treasure that had been taken from them. An hour later, the entire table was covered with gold coins and precious stones, and by this ti Sam had returned after taking a very long shower to get rid of the sewer sll.

"So, besides all these jewels, you didn't find anything else?" Dean asked, looking at Sam as he entered the library.

"We did. This," Sam replied, pulling a large red stone the size of a golf ball out of his pocket.

When Sam took the red stone out of his pocket and placed it on the table, everyone turned their attention to it. The stone Sam had brought looked like an unprocessed ruby, but of a darker color, comparable to blood. Dean picked up the stone, examined it from all sides, then looked at Sam, wanting to know what kind of stone it was. Alex got up from his seat to also take a look at what Sam had brought.

Approaching Dean, Alex took the stone from his hands and began to examine it. Holding the red stone in his hands, Alex felt a strange structure to this artifact. Holding the red stone, Alex felt a strange coolness and warmth at the sa ti. And before checking exactly what kind of stone this was, Alex wanted to find out what Sam had managed to learn.

"As I understand it, this is the sa mystical stone ntioned in the entry Enid found?" Alex asked for clarification, placing the stone back on the table.

"Yes. In short, if the translation was correct, this is the Philosopher's Stone," Sam said, pointing at the red stone.

"The Philosopher's Stone? The actual Philosopher's Stone? The one that turns everything into gold and grants eternal life?" Enid exclaid in surprise, grabbing the edge of the table.

"Possibly… Even Cas wasn't sure if this is the Philosopher's Stone. I don't even know how to use it. I only read that all alchemists sought to get this stone into their hands. But those were just legends and nothing more," Sam said, shaking his head to show that he himself didn't know.

Hearing Sam's explanation, everyone turned their attention back to the red stone that Sam had called the Philosopher's Stone. Lucina glanced at Alex and lightly kicked his leg so he would check whether this was a real Philosopher's Stone or not. Feeling the kick, Alex looked up at Lucina, who nodded toward the stone with her eyes, making it clear what he needed to do.

Alex exaggeratedly rolled his eyes and took the Philosopher's Stone in his hands. Alex's eyes sparkled as he began using his magical vision. After a quick inspection, Alex realized that this stone could indeed be called a Philosopher's Stone. But not in the way everyone expected. What Sam had brought could be called a unique alchemical reagent that was truly capable of many things, but did not possess the great power described in the legends.

"Well, the stone really is special. But not in the way you all expected," Alex said, placing the Philosopher's Stone back on the table.

"So no mountains of gold or immortal life?" Samantha asked with a cheerful smile.

"Sothing like that. I'd say this stone can be used as a portable first-aid kit for serious injuries and as a substitute for so ingredients and a spell enhancer," Alex said with a chuckle, leaning on his palm.

"So we'll have to hide this little thing far away from Rowena's hands. Knowing her, she'll definitely try to pocket sothing like this to save her own life," Dean said in a serious tone, pointing at the Philosopher's Stone.

Alex and Sam nodded in agreent to hide the stone. And the most reliable place to hide it was Alex's inventory, where the stone was placed in case it might be needed in the future. Sam wasn't upset about spending six hours searching for the Philosopher's Stone, because this stone could still be used for so things in the future.

Especially for their plan to create a cage or a bomb against Amara. And at the sa ti as Sam's return, everyone decided to end the search for the day and rest a little. But Alex, Dean, and Sam stayed behind while the girls went to rest. Only closer to two o'clock in the morning did Alex, Dean, and Sam head off to sleep to regain their strength.

With the arrival of the next day, after breakfast everyone returned to the library to continue the search. Closer to lunchti, Samantha found a book that ntioned a mysterious stone that, according to the drawing, resembled a heart. Sharing this find during lunch, Samantha suggested going to Peru, or more precisely to Machu Picchu. Alice and Enid imdiately supported the idea with undisguised desire to go on this adventure.

Lucina could only nod in agreent to go to this place. Even Wednesday agreed, believing that such searches shouldn't be trusted to soone as irresponsible as Alice and Enid. And when those words were spoken, Alice and Enid were indignant, but soon forgot about it when they decided that this was their ti to beco Tomb Raiders.

Alex had no objections to the girls going on their own adventure, but he still sent GIR, MIMI, and Stitch along with them. Doll decided to stay near Alex, thinking that he would be lonely if everyone left.

And already an hour later, Alice and Enid were dressed like tomb raiders and even managed to dress Alessa in a similar outfit, which Alessa clearly wasn't happy about, but she couldn't argue against the enthusiasm her mothers were showing. Soon the girls left the bunker with Alessa's help. Only Alex, Doll, Dean, and Sam remained in the library.

"I hope nothing bad happens," Alex said, shaking his head, taking a sip of coffee and returning to reading an ancient book.

"What could happen? It's just an ancient tomb. There's nothing there but traps and skeletons," Dean said in a carefree tone, rely shrugging his shoulders.

"Well, for example, Wednesday might decide out of curiosity to wake up a few mummies… Actually, a lot of things could happen, and the list is quite long," Alex said, stroking his chin.

"I can believe that the gloomy girl would wake up mummies. But I doubt the rest," Dean said with a smirk, closing the book.

"I also think everything will be fine. The girls will manage without our help. Whether it's a mummy or so curse," Sam said, nodding in agreent with Dean's words.

Alex thought for a mont and decided that the girls would handle everything they encountered during their search perfectly well without his help. And Alex was sure that the girls would also enjoy this journey through ancient tombs. Deciding to drink so coffee, Alex got up from the table and went to the kitchen to brew coffee for himself and Doll. Making himself regular coffee and chocolate coffee for Doll, Alex returned to the library.

Returning to the search, Alex sat next to Doll, occasionally taking a sip of coffee and lazily flipping through books and diaries. What brought relief was that Crowley and Rowena weren't causing any problems, and this relieved Alex, Dean, and Sam.

This mother-and-son pair would co to the library from ti to ti when they could no longer stand each other's presence. But the one who suffered the most in this situation was Castiel, who had to keep an eye on Crowley and Rowena. And Castiel got a front-row seat to all this family dynamic between a mother who hated her own son and the son who had repeatedly tried to kill his mother.

While searching for any kind of information, ti flew by very quickly, and soon it was already ten o'clock in the evening, and the girls still hadn't returned. Alex was lying on the couch with his head on Doll's lap while she slowly stroked his hair. Dean sat at the table with his feet on another chair, sipping beer and lazily reading another diary.

Sam sat at his laptop, working on translating yet another ancient book. Opening his eyes, Alex took out his pocket watch to check the ti and yawned lazily, thinking that the girls were running late. Deciding to go to the kitchen to get a snack, Alex lifted his head from Doll's lap and slowly headed to the kitchen.

Making himself a few sandwiches and so tea, Alex returned to the library and found the girls already back. Enid and Alice looked dirty but pleased with their adventure. Lucina and Samantha looked tired, and Wednesday looked irritated, as if her expectations from visiting the ancient tomb had not been t. And once again, GIR, MIMI, and Stitch returned with bags filled with sothing.

"So how did it go?" Alex asked, placing the plate of sandwiches and cup of tea on the table.

"It was aweso. First we wandered through the jungle. Then we found a passage into the ancient tombs…" Enid began speaking quickly, jumping toward Alex with her phone in her hands.

"And those tombs were a huge underground labyrinth with traps. There was everything: traps, mummies, snakes, collapsing ceilings. Literally everything!" Alice spoke up, adding to Enid's story.

"So you had fun… Did you manage to find anything? Or just treasures?" Dean said with a smile, pointing at the noisy trio holding bags of treasure.

"Pretty much. And it wasn't as fun as they say. It was dirty, wet, and awful," Lucina said in a tired tone, sitting down on a chair with the simple desire to rest.

Lucina and Samantha sat wearily, trying to recover and gather strength to go take a shower. Enid and Alice showed photos and videos they had recorded during their adventure. Dean and Sam got up from their seats to look at the photos together with Alex. Doll took Alessa in her arms and went to help her daughter change and wash off the dirt. anwhile, GIR, MIMI, and Stitch were sorting through all the looted treasures, dividing them by value.

After a short viewing of the videos and photos that Enid and Alice were showing off, Alex, Dean, and Sam didn't see anything unusual besides the usual views of the jungle, wild animals, and the ancient tomb located underground. And while Alice and Enid showed the photos, Alex wiped their faces with a towel, which didn't stop them at all from telling about their adventure.

"Well, it's not that scary. For the place where you were, this is pretty standard…" Sam began, looking thoughtfully at the girls.

"I would say the sa if soone hadn't decided to wake up the mummies… Right, Wednesday," Samantha said, sitting on the chair and rubbing her shoulder, throwing an irritated glance at Wednesday.

"First of all, those weren't mummies. They were poorly preserved corpses with inflated self-esteem. Second, I didn't awaken them. I simply opened the sarcophagus. If soone slept for several thousand years and decided to co out right now, the problem is clearly not with ," Wednesday said in a calm tone, wiping her face with a towel.

"You opened one? And in the end you awakened all the mummies?" Alex asked again, trying to wipe the dirt off Enid's cheeks while she smiled widely.

"I opened about six. It would have been rude to leave the rest closed," Wednesday replied in a carefree tone, turning her head toward Alex.

Alex looked at Wednesday with a calm gaze, then at the tired Lucina and Samantha. eting Alex's gaze, both girls sighed heavily, hinting that there had been far more than six mummies. Wednesday rely shrugged, seeing no tragedy in it.

She did what she found interesting, and the consequences of that interest were no longer her problem. Dean and Sam exchanged glances and looked down at Enid. After all, both were sure that Enid had definitely managed to photograph and record the mummies on video.

Enid smiled widely and showed the peace sign, confirming that she had managed to get everything. Enid played the video where they first ran from the mummies, and a short ti later GIR, MIMI, and Stitch attacked the mummies, beating them with bags of treasure.

"A very predictable ending for the mummies. And what about the artifact you went for?" Alex said, not at all surprised by how another mummy's life had ended.

"We found it… And it really does look like a heart. The box is in the bag," Lucina said, not wanting to get up from the chair, pointing at her backpack.

Alex walked over to Lucina's backpack, took out a rather large box, and placed it on the table. Opening the box, Alex saw inside a stone that really did resemble a fossilized human heart covered with Inca tribal writings.

Taking the stone Heart in his hands, Alex felt that the energy in this artifact had almost disappeared and was only suitable for a couple of small miracles, like making a withered flower bloom again. When he voiced what he had learned, the girls reacted differently, but mostly with slight disappointnt.

"Well, another piece of junk. There's nothing to be done about it. At least if Sam's cactus wilts, we can make it bloom again," Dean said, not particularly upset that the search had been unsuccessful.

"Sam's cactus or Sam?" Enid asked with a cheerful smile.

"It's too late for Sam, he's already blood. All we can do is save his cactus," Dean replied with a smirk, laughing at his own joke.

"Fuck off, dude," Sam said irritably, wanting to hit Dean.

Chuckling, Alex put the stone heart back in the box, thinking that this stone heart could only be used as decoration. Lucina and Samantha, having rested enough, went to take a bath to wash off all the dirt and sweat after wandering through the jungle and ancient underground ruins. Alice and Enid left almost imdiately afterward to take a shower.

Wednesday left last, leaving Alex, Dean, and Sam in the library. Sitting down at the table, Alex, Dean, and Sam began to discuss that even though the searches hadn't yielded anything, it only confird that the chance of finding sothing useful had increased. Returning to the search, Alex drank tea with sandwiches while looking through another mountain of reports.

So ti later, Doll returned after helping Alessa take a bath and putting her to bed. Soon another day of searching ca to an end, and Alex, Dean, and Sam went to their rooms. Alex returned to the room with Doll and found the sleeping girls, who had fallen asleep instantly as soon as they lay down on the bed.

Soon another day arrived and another trip to the other side of the world for an artifact whose usefulness was unknown. The girls imdiately refused to go anywhere, citing their fatigue and desire to just lie down and not move. Alex, Dean, and Sam weren't particularly eager to go to Tibet either.

The reason was that no one wanted to wander through the mountains of Tibet in search of an ancient temple that the diary's owner himself described as possibly nonexistent. And so a collective decision was made to send Crowley and Castiel to Tibet. Crowley was about to refuse, saying that he was ready to reclaim his hellish throne.

Dean and Sam looked at Alex and nodded. Alex smiled slightly and took Crowley aside for a short conversation. A couple of minutes later, Alex returned with Crowley, who was now ready to go to Tibet. GIR, MIMI, and Stitch also weren't going to miss this trip, because then they wouldn't be able to bring back even more treasures.

Castiel and Crowley returned only the next day with an old spell book that was useless in their current situation and in no way could help against Amara. Once again, GIR, MIMI, and Stitch returned with bags filled with various treasures.

Throwing the old spell book on the table, Crowley imdiately left, saying he was tired of all this and was going to reclaim his hellish throne. In reality, he had no intention of becoming a courier for delivering ancient artifacts. Crowley's departure had no effect on the usual routine in the bunker, except that he didn't take Rowena with him. By this point, she had begun to feel right at ho.

Days passed, and every day they had to go sowhere to check whether the artifact ntioned in the records existed and whether it could be a Hand of God. The week of searching passed very quickly, and most of the boxes with docunts, records, diaries, and books had been reviewed, with fewer than ten boxes remaining.

Closer to midnight, Sam went to sleep, leaving Alex and Dean in the library. Alex and Dean remained in an alert state thanks to whiskey, coffee, and fast food. Next to Alex stood a stack of old books, on top of which was an ashtray filled with cigarette butts and thin cigars.

Alex didn't feel any fatigue because of who he was, but even for him this week seed terrible. Dean didn't look much better — he had stubble on his face and his eyes were red from lack of sleep. Taking another sip of whiskey, Dean rubbed his reddened eyes and sighed wearily.

"Found anything?" Dean asked, shifting his gaze to Alex.

"Sort of. It talks about so pharaoh who was supposedly endowed with divine power or owned a divine staff…" Alex said, pinching the bridge of his nose and bringing a thin cigar to his lips.

"Co again? A divine staff. Doesn't that sound familiar?" Dean asked, straightening up after hearing Alex's words.

"I don't think it's Moses' staff. You haven't forgotten that Balthazar sawed Moses' staff into pieces and traded them for people's souls," Alex said, lighting the thin cigar.

"What does Moses have to do with it? I'm saying this could be another miracle staff from legends," Dean said, rolling his eyes and standing up from the chair.

"Do you want to go look for an ancient pyramid hidden sowhere under the sand?" Alex asked, flicking the ash from the cigar into the ashtray.

"What ti is it?" Dean asked thoughtfully, trying to find his phone.

"Almost three in the morning," Alex replied, taking out his pocket watch.

"I'll go get my sunglasses and sunscreen," Dean said, waving his hand and heading to his room.

Looking at Dean as he left, Alex wasn't sure whether Dean was joking about going for sunscreen and sunglasses or if he had simply gone to sleep. Deciding not to think about it, Alex just leaned back in his chair, continuing to smoke the thin cigar that Integra usually smoked.

Closing his eyes, Alex wanted to rest a little in silence and stop seeing any more docunts, records, diaries, or ancient books. All Alex was thinking about was that in the next world he went to, he wouldn't have to work so much and would be able to rest. Ten minutes later, Alex heard the sound of footsteps and opened his eyes, lowering his gaze. Alex saw Dean in a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses with a travel bag over his shoulder.

"Well, I'm ready to go to Egypt," Dean said, placing the travel bag on the table.

"We're ready too," GIR, MIMI, and Stitch ran into the library.

Alex exhaled smoke through his nose and looked at GIR, MIMI, and Stitch, who were dressed like archaeologists with backpacks on their backs. He was sure that the only reason this trio wanted to go to Egypt was to collect even more treasures. Putting out the thin cigar in the ashtray, Alex snapped his fingers, changing into a Hawaiian shirt and shorts.

Taking sunglasses out of his inventory, Alex was also ready to go. After changing, Alex looked at Dean, who at that mont was applying sunscreen to his arms as if he were going on vacation rather than searching for a pyramid buried under the sands.

"Seriously, Dean?" Alex couldn't help but ask, looking at him.

"Shut up. I have fair skin, I'll burn the fuck up in ten minutes. You probably don't burn at all, you immortal bastard," Dean snapped, spreading the sunscreen over his arms.

"Whatever you say, princess. And if you're ready. Next stop — the deserts of Egypt," Alex said with a smirk, placing his hand on Dean's shoulder.

Dean nodded, tossed the sunscreen aside, and grabbed his bag with everything he needed. GIR, MIMI, and Stitch imdiately clung to Alex's body, ready to head to Egypt. The next mont, Alex, Dean, and the noisy trio of crazy archaeologists found themselves in the middle of the desert.

A bright sun shone in the sky, which even the sunglasses didn't help much with, and the air was very dry. Standing on a high sand dune, Alex and Dean looked around to see anything besides sand. GIR, MIMI, and Stitch sat on Alex's shoulders and head, not wanting to drown in the sand. Wiping sweat from his face, Dean whistled slightly, seeing only sand and nothing but sand.

"So where next? Because I only see sand…" Dean said, wiping sweat from his forehead.

"We were supposed to appear sowhere near the pyramid. But it's under the sand… I'll check now," Alex said, squatting down and touching the sand with his hand.

Touching the sand with his hand, Alex sent a small sonar wave to understand which direction they needed to go. A mont later, Alex understood where they needed to head and beckoned Dean to follow him. Starting to descend the sand dune, Alex and Dean moved across the hot desert.

From the first minutes, Dean already began complaining that the sand was hot and the sun was very unpleasant. Trying to ignore Dean's complaints, Alex continued walking forward to the place where he sensed the presence of the pyramid. After several minutes of walking through the desert, Alex stopped, looked around, and squatted down again to touch the sand.

"Listen, is this pyramid of yours definitely here, or are we going to have to dig through the sand like idiots?" Dean asked, taking a bottle of water out of his bag.

"Yes, it's here. Right under us," Alex said, nodding and pointing his finger under his feet.

"And you couldn't have sent us straight there right away?" Dean asked, handing the bottle of water to Alex.

Alex looked at Dean as if he were an idiot. Even GIR, MIMI, and Stitch looked at Dean as if he were an idiot. Taking a sip of water, Alex returned the bottle to Dean and made him take a few steps back. After taking a few steps back, Alex quickly ford several hand seals and struck the sand with his palm.

At that very mont, the ground beneath Alex and Dean's feet began to shake. From such shaking, Dean almost fell into the sand, grabbing Alex's shoulder just in ti. At the sa ti, the sand began to part to the sides, and an old pyramid began to rise from under the sand. The pyramid slowly rose from the ground and cast a shadow over Alex and Dean.

"Well, I'll be damned, this is the first ti I've seen a pyramid up close. It looks aweso," Dean said, whistling in surprise.

"Good thing the Sphinx isn't real," Alex chuckled, lighting a thin cigar and looking at the huge stone Sphinx.

"I agree with that. The last thing I want is to solve riddles in this heat… So, where's the entrance?" Dean said with a smirk, folding his arms across his chest and looking at the top of the pyramid.

"What do you think?" Alex asked, shifting his gaze to Dean.

"Wait, don't help. If all those mummy movies I watched in the past are correct, then the entrance should be under the Sphinx," Dean said in a thoughtful tone, pointing his finger at the Sphinx.

"You guessed it… Now let's go see what we can find. Maybe we'll get lucky and a mummy will chase us. That would be fun," Alex said, clenching the thin cigar between his teeth, putting his hands behind his head, and heading toward the Sphinx.

"Heh, I ca prepared, I brought so explosives," Dean said, opening his bag and showing the explosives inside.

Alex smirked and continued walking with Dean toward the Sphinx. When they reached the Sphinx, GIR, MIMI, and Stitch jumped off Alex and quickly began searching for the entrance. Working quickly and skillfully, GIR, MIMI, and Stitch got out all the necessary tools and very quickly opened the entrance to the pyramid.

A long dark corridor opened before Alex and Dean, leading sowhere downward. Exchanging glances and taking out flashlights, Alex and Dean entered the dark corridor. Before disappearing into the dark corridor, Alex snapped his fingers to hide the suddenly appeared pyramid from prying eyes.

To be continued...

(I didn't plan to skip this part of the plot; I needed to show what happened during that week of searching, instead of just a few sentences and moving on. It was a very eventful week for Alex and the others. And then Alex and Dean will have to walk inside an ancient pyramid, because it's a duet that first blows and then asks questions. And I'm going to eat, and you should too. Peace, love, and the pyramid were built by aliens.)
