"..." Well, it’s another day, and I must say the scene unfolding before is frustratingly surprising.

I’m standing in front of my class, and this vision is nothing like what I expected. I know unpredictable things can happen, and that’s why I’m always ready to adapt to the situation and make the most of it.

But this is pushing the limits of my patience. There’s no way I can simply use this to my advantage. I pull the saint’s arm out of the room, ignoring the students’ stares.

I need the saint to explain this situation now, or I won’t understand why my classroom isn’t as it should be.

"Explain why the hell my classroom is full of random students instead of heroes?" I ask irritatedly. I see Celeste, Evangeline, and other nobles and students, but no heroes.

They’ve all simply disappeared. There’s not a single hero there, and that’s really frustrating. I wasn’t inford of anything, and they’re no longer here, which ans I can’t use my authority as a teacher to hurt them.

"I’m sorry to inform you, but most of the heroes, after recent training, have reached 85% to 90% of their full potential and have been sent back to the castle to be trained by the royal guard captain," the saint says.

"This is a historical occurrence that always happens when heroes are close to reaching their maximum. There, they will be taught about different magics, weapons, and strategies by the royal guard captain, who has everything necessary to teach them."

"They were moved last night, and since it’s sothing allowed by the Pope himself and the King, you, I, and no one else can do anything about it."

"And that’s why in our classroom, what we have now are all the top-performing students in the school," the saint says quickly, as if wanting to be done with this conversation.

’Damn it! No one told anything, curse it...’ There wasn’t much I could achieve with them here, but at least with them here, I could have made them suffer a bit.

"And why wasn’t I, the Grand Duchess, inford of this change?" I should have been inford of this unless there was a reason for not to be.

I quickly think of the answers that could make them not tell about this, when I’m such an influential figure in human society.

’Could it be... damn them...’ I grab the saint’s neck, pressing her against the wall, while the shadow insects stir within her body.

"Is this all to diminish the authority my family has?" It can only be that. Just as they don’t call to strategic etings to help or don’t ask for Veritus’s support, they also don’t want to have any connection with the heroes in any way.

If I served as a tutor to the heroes for an extended period, it would an that I indirectly contributed greatly to the war. These greedy pigs have just moved them away from to maintain their petty authority.

The saint looks at nervously, her eyes trembling anxiously, as if she’s not sure what to say, looking around as if searching for help, but finding none.

"Y-You’re right, but I have nothing to do with it," she says with difficulty, as she’s being choked. I release her, letting her fall to the floor. Her answer was to agree, but try to absolve herself of any bla.

’Tsk... there’s no plan I can make in this regard that will help ... Amiya... I can still try to use her sohow...’ Amiya would be the only bridge I can use if I want to have contact with the heroes.

"So the heroes are currently at the castle, and if I understand correctly, they’ll be there for at least 1 to 2 years until the war begins?" I ask the saint.

If they’re there to be taught by the royal guard captain, it ans it will be a long training aid at the physical and ntal growth of the heroes until the war fully begins.

"Y-Yes, more or less that," the saint agrees, rubbing her neck, which is still marked from my grip. The fear she feels towards hasn’t changed, and that’s good.

"At least I’ll be called after the plans are made, right?" I ask curiously. Would they dare to keep out of the final plans when Veritus is the one who guarantees enormous financial and military support?

"O-Of course, you’re still one of the authorities of the kingdom. It’s impossible for them not to call you to help. I was also removed from so duties to reduce my authority in so areas, but we two are still too important to be permanently removed," the saint says, sothing I think she shouldn’t have said.

’Well... I guess it’s not all bad...’ I wouldn’t have been able to get anything useful from the heroes anyway. What I had to get, I’ve already obtained, which was to know how they have to fight against .

I’ve already done sothing to deal with the debuffs they can do, which is to create cores, transfer the debuff to them, and then automatically remove the cores from my body.

What will really help right now is to find the Pope and learn the unique abilities of each hero. Staying with the heroes was at most for to hurt them for personal entertainnt.

Moreover, there are also things I can take advantage of in this situation if I think about it carefully. Evangeline is in my classroom now, and she, besides being the reincarnation of my aunt, can help with sothing useful.

Even if I kill the heroes, two things remain open: the summoning circle that will still be active, and I need to find a way to render it useless. And the royal family’s vault, ironically, Evangeline is perfect for telling what’s in the vault.

She’s a mber of the royal family, and she has a strange level of feelings for that I can use to my advantage.

I’m curious about what’s in the vault, and many around the world have this interest, be they dragons, elves, or demons. What’s in the vault is a truly intriguing secret.

"Okay, saint, forget about it. Anyway, the heroes don’t matter much to now. It’s just a few days until I can go see the Pope. Are you excited?" I ask with a smile.

"S-Sure... v-very much so," she says insincerely, with a forced smile, straightening her rumpled clothes and healing the marks on her neck.

My progress with the saint’s body is also great. Just a little more, and I’ll be able to make the saint lose her position as the saint.

"That’s great. I’m glad we’re in sync now. Let’s make this class sothing similar to what was planned. We’ll teach about sacred magic," I tell her as I let her enter the classroom first.

’What an inconvenience...’ I didn’t expect this. Fate is really annoying in pulling away from my prey.

But fate has never favored much, so I’ll turn any setback into an opportunity for myself.

Now that I’ve been pulled away from the heroes, I won’t waste ti letting my anger and desire for revenge distract from what’s most important: my personal growth and preparation for the end.

I enter the classroom without exuding any more anger. If I show that I’m irritated because the heroes are no longer here, it might beco suspicious in so way, since it wouldn’t make sense for to want proximity to the heroes.

I go to my desk, picking up a book. I finished the previous volu, so I think I can give them a good lesson on this subject.

"Okay, students, we’re all surprised by the sudden change we’ve had, but that ans you’ll now be taught by ," I say, coming to my speaking place.

I bet they didn’t expect the swap as much as I did, since it was so sudden. Akari must have thought it was fine to give the class with the best students to replace the previous loss.

It’s not exactly what I’d like, but it’ll do for now, so there’s no reason for to go there and demand an explanation from her.

"Today we’ll learn more about sacred magic, and the saint, as the best user of this magic we know, will be the one who will be highlighted," I begin speaking to everyone.

"I know many of you here don’t have an affinity for this elent and may find it useless for yourselves, but rember that the sacred elent is not exclusive to humans. Demons and monsters can also use it."

"So everyone needs to learn how to deal with this elent." This is a fact. Many may only be able to use this elent with mastery.

At least, unlike the heroes, these students don’t question much. They just pay attention. I look at Celeste, who looks at with admiration.

I can even say what she’s thinking. She thinks it’s amazing that I’m now a teacher. Honestly, it won’t be long before so poisoned drink of mine appears.

She continues to do this, and won’t stop now just because I’m a teacher, but it’s not an inconvenience, I think.

I’ve morized many things from the book, so I start a lecture with the support of the saint, who also speaks on points I don’t know, and I use this to rember what she says.

The elf seems bothered by and what I did to her, but she pays attention to , and so students, while Delphina just observes , listening attentively.

But she’s clearly not interested in the class or the classroom, only looking at and paying attention only to what I teach.

And so we continue the classes for the next few hours.
