"I’m here, my loves!!" I push open the dining hall door while wiping the blood off my cheek with a handkerchief. I didn’t want to be any later, so I didn’t bother showering—which ans I reek of the blood from the torture I put Ren through. Oh well.
"Pandora, you took way too long!!" Delphina says, frustrated, but there’s a spark of excitent in her eyes because I finally showed up. Zephyra isn’t here, but I get it—eating is still a bit difficult for her, even if she can manage it now.
So it’s just Delphina and Grimm here. But Grimm has this strange look on her face—the kind soone gets when they’ve done sothing VERY wrong and can’t hide it.
I flop down into my chair, eyeing all the different dishes laid out, but Grimm’s stare is really starting to bother . I notice neither of them has started eating yet.
"Sothing wrong, Grimm?"
"O-Of course not, hahaha..." She sounds really tense saying that. I wonder what she’s been up to. Does it have sothing to do with my body?
"Hey, Grimm and Delphina—you two are both really strong... and you’ve got tons of experience. So I’d like so help... what can you tell about the goddesses’ reincarnation magic? The base model! Not the modified versions!" Since every goddess has altered that spell, there’s no way to know how each one works.
But the basic model is an unchanging foundation. So I need to understand it if I’m going to find so way to stop it. However, at my question, Grimm and Delphina exchange glances.
"Pandora, sorry, but I don’t know!! I never thought about how to stop it, so I never developed anything!! All I know is that the reincarnation magic was made to keep a goddess from dying 100%, but it was also designed to be balanced—so the goddess loses mories and power!" Delphina says with a sigh.
"Oh, but I do know that technically, you can’t reincarnate if there’s nothing to reincarnate into. So if you killed every living thing, she wouldn’t be able to co back... though nothing else could be born either, or that would leave an opening." Delphina offers a pretty extre take on the situation.
"What about you, Grimm?"
"Hmmm. Reincarnation only works once. If you kill the goddess, she’ll reincarnate into sothing new. And if you kill her again before she’s regained her status as a goddess, she’ll die for good."
"Oh!! OH!! OH!!!! That’s really helpful, thanks Grimm!" I say with a big smile, but my voice is dripping with pure sarcasm. That’s sothing I already knew. Besides, finding the reincarnated goddess would be impossible.
There’s no way to know. And even though the system knows, it won’t let you access that information. I accessed it by accident once in the past, and the system clearly didn’t want to know. So there’s not much I can do about trying to figure it out.
The point is—I’ve now gained access to this magic that’s engraved into a goddess’s soul when she reaches level 100 billion. And I’ve discovered it has a "backup" that helps the goddess recover her powers and part of her mories.
So I can’t just kill Elysia and let her soul wander around!! Because one day she might recover her mories. And let’s be honest—it’s stupid to let a cunning manipulator get back on the board without you knowing!!
I’d have no way of knowing if she’s back or not. So I need to guarantee I stop her reincarnation—or at least stop her from being able to recover her powers and mories. Either one is enough.
"Pandora, you’re such a hypocrite!! What if you actually get a good idea from what I said? I an—"
"Wait, Grimm... why do your clones inherit different personalities?" I interrupt her, asking that question. She stares at for a few seconds while Delphina starts eating, cutting into her at delicately without making a sound.
"Well, obviously it’s because I made them unique existences with my magic, using copies of my soul. They’re not real souls, but they follow the sa pattern as mine, which I transfer from one to another."
"After all, I create and destroy copies all the ti. Making brand new souls every single ti would be annoying." She answers, taking a sip from her wine glass.
’Hmmm...’ I think about what I can do. I’ve never seen a goddess be killed before. But if she follows the pattern I think she does, then I just had a good idea.
"Okay! Thanks for that, Grimm!! I’ll figure out what to do! Now, how about we enjoy the mont?" I grab a wine glass too, lifting myself up a little and leaning forward.
Grimm and Delphina do the sa with their own glasses and toast to . They both seem pretty hopeful about my victory. I can’t let them down.
"Pandora, I can’t say too much, but I can tell you this—be ready soon!" Grimm says only that and drinks her wine. I stare at her for a few seconds before she simply teleports away, dodging the situation.
’Grimm sees the future, but she never talks about it...’ I take this as a warning for the future and decide to speed up my tests. I was thinking of taking my ti testing counterasures against reincarnation magic, but now I’ll try a more aggressive approach.
"Pandora, are you strong enough to fight the goddesses now? Are you ready?" Delphina asks, making conversation with a neutral expression, but her tail is wagging a little. She’s so adorable.
"Yes. I’ve maximized everything I could maximize. For now, it’s impossible for to get any stronger. I don’t have ti to create anything else without it being unstable and useless. The truth is, simplicity will be the best choice."
"Pandora, please don’t leave everything to your adaptation. I’d be really worried if you said your plan was to fight until you adapt... fighting goddesses will be different from anything you’ve ever done!!"
"There are a lot of dangerous spells that will be used. If you let yourself get hit just to adapt, you’ll co out with serious aftereffects even if you win!!" She speaks seriously, as if I always do that.
The ntion of serious aftereffects makes touch my arm. I’ll never forget that wound—the one that took so long to find a way to repair.
"I won’t do that, Delphina!! I know it’s way too risky. I’m not going to rely too much on adaptation!" Precisely because I’m not relying too much on adaptation, Azraelith and I strengthened the Doom elent to its absolute limit.
"Pandora, I swear, if you die, I’ll go crazy!!" She says it with such seriousness. I get up from my chair, walk over to hers, and lift her out of it. Then I sit down and place her on my lap, stroking her tail.
"Don’t worry, love. I’ll kill those bitches, and I’ll co back... I still need to teach you to be more lustful and daring. I need to teach you how your cute little body is an adorable baby factory." I nibble on her ear while she blushes, curling up on my lap.
"C-Calling a baby factory sounds so lewd."
"I’m also your adorable and daring baby factory, love. So just stay quiet and wait for to co back. Your dear wife is going into this battle and will bring you back a delicious victory." Her tail wags even harder. It’s so soft and pleasant to touch.
"P-Pandora... n-not here..." I feel my dress getting damp. Looks like soone is getting completely soaked with love fluids from just a few words.
"Not here what, sweetie? Don’t worry, I’m just teasing. But honestly, right now I really want a cup of your milk." I grab the wine pitcher and pour the wine onto the floor, then place it in Delphina’s hands.
"Fill it for , love." She takes the pitcher with trembling hands while I start eating the at from the plates, enjoying the flavor that didn’t exist in the at from the abyss. I hear Delphina’s breathy moans as she fills the pitcher under the table.
’Eat...’ I don’t like this "drawback" of my passive. The fact that it makes feel hungry. The truth is, my body has reached a state where I’d never need to eat again. But I still feel this annoying hunger all the ti.
Just like Azraelith gets irritated easily because of the power that cos from her being the Representative of the sin of wrath.
’Well... all I can do is wait...’ Besides trying to bypass the soul reincarnation of the goddesses, there’s not much I can do right now. I feel bored. Of course I’m happy with my beloveds, but my hyperactive mind needs bigger stimulation than just casual conversation.
"N-Nghhmm..." Delphina on my lap lets out a moan. She timidly moves the pitcher and sets it on the table. It’s so full that a thick droplet drips down the side.
I run a finger through that bubbling, hot, viscous mixture, slling Delphina’s scent spreading through the air.
"P-Pandora, you’re so d-depraved," Delphina says, embarrassed, while I grab the pitcher and tip it straight to my mouth, starting to drink it all down. It’s cute that she thinks that’s depraved. She has no idea how much I want to throw her onto the floor and fuck her right here.
"Haaa..." I finish drinking it all in seconds, slamming the dirty pitcher down on the table.
"Delicious, my love. How about we play a little ga? I’m so bored. So how about so chess? You know, I’m not a huge fan, but in chess, there are 10¹²⁰ possible moves."
"I want to try visualizing every single existing option during the ga. The reward? I’ll grant you one sweet wish if you win. But for every loss you take, I want you to fill that pitcher." With each loss, Delphina will get more turned on, more impulsive, and more scattered in the ga.
"O-Okay... I’m going to win!" She says confidently while I conjure a chessboard and keep it to the side, so we can play with her on my lap.
"Get ready to fill that pitcher many tis, sweetie."
"I-I won’t lose!!" She maintains such adorable confidence that it makes smile wickedly at this ga—a way to distract my mind from the failures related to blocking reincarnation.
