"?" The little dragon girl tilted her head, looking at Tianmiao, "What do you an by what’s your na?"
"I an, what is your na?" Tianmiao was slightly shocked internally. This little dragon girl, did she not receive the mory inheritance of the Dragon Clan? A dragon like a blank slate is truly rare. This indicates sothing unfortunate happened to her clan. Was it due to the dispersal of spiritual power?
"I don’t have a na." The little dragon girl blinked in confusion, then cheerfully added, "Will you play with ? It’s the first ti I’ve seen soone who looks a lot like ."
Tianmiao tenderly patted the little dragon girl’s head, a suspicion forming in her heart.
"If I play with you, will you co with ?" Tianmiao asked gently with a smile.
"Okay." The little dragon girl threw away the octopus she was holding, standing up without a hint of hesitation, "I’ve been playing by myself for a long ti, no one to play with, and it’s not fun."
Tianmiao felt a pang of sympathy and took the little dragon girl’s hand, whispering softly, "Then follow from now on. How about I give you a na?"
"Okay." The little dragon girl nodded happily.
"You’ll be called — Kong Hou." Tianmiao’s voice turned ethereal and softly mysterious, more like the fulfillnt of a pact.
"Kong Hou, Kong Hou! Nice na!" The little dragon girl bounced excitedly, "What about you, what’s your na?"
"? Just call Boss." Tianmiao chuckled, gently pinching the chubby hand of little Kong Hou, ah, the feeling is indeed good.
"Boss! Then you’ll play with from now on." Kong Hou seed extrely happy.
"Alright, let’s go back to your place, shall we?" Tianmiao suggested.
"Okay, let’s go." Kong Hou grabbed Tianmiao’s hand and ran towards the sea.
In the depths of the sea, there was a massive palace, splendid yet lifeless.
Kong Hou took Tianmiao to explore her ho.
"Boss, look, this, this here, I ca out of this." Kong Hou held Tianmiao’s hand, pointing to several broken pieces of a giant eggshell.
Born from the dragon egg.
Tianmiao looked at the eggshell, waved her hand, and collected all the shell pieces. These eggshells are the best nourishnt for newborns, yet Kong Hou had not consud them. Consuming the eggshells upon birth is an instinct for Dragon Clan hatchlings. Why did Kong Hou lack this instinct? Or perhaps she couldn’t bear to consu what had been with her since birth, suppressing her instinct?
Whatever the reason, it stirred a mont of empathy for Tianmiao.
"Pack up your things, and I’ll take you to a fun place. We might not co back for a while." Tianmiao let Kong Hou gather what she wanted to bring, then started exploring the grand palace.
The palace was vast, with nurous chambers. It was apparent that Kong Hou’s family used to be large.
Eventually, Tianmiao reached the Main Hall.
At the center of the spacious Main Hall lay a circular white jade platform, atop which sat a Jade Scroll.
Tianmiao stepped forward to pick it up, activating the seal on it.
An image projected from the Jade Scroll.
It was a group of transford dragons, dressed in regality, standing in perfect formation.
"Greetings. We don’t know who you are, but to co here and activate this seal, you must harbor no ill will towards her. Thank you for coming." The leading dragon spoke with great respect.
Tianmiao silently watched the projection, her speculations gradually being validated.
