Kong Shubai smiled gently, "Ah, pleased to et you."
The team formation was finally resolved smoothly, then everyone received a wooden sword, and the host said, alright, let’s start. There wasn’t any hint at all. Things like eating and drinking weren’t even ntioned.
Many people looked at the wooden sword in their hands with a bewildered face, what are we supposed to do with this?
However, Ruan Tingyi, who was obsessed with gaming all day, was very experienced.
"Tianmiao, let’s go and check ahead, see if there’s any task we can take. In the Newbie Village, there should be guiding NPCs." Ruan Tingyi suggested, as she slung the wooden sword on her back.
Tianmiao nodded and walked forward with Ruan Tingyi.
Seeing this, the others hurried to follow.
Lu Anchen walked a few steps and found a box by the roadside.
"Hey? What’s this?" Lu Anchen ran to the roadside, looking at the box.
"Open it and see?" the leading lady suggested.
"Xin Ling, have you ever played RPG single-player gas before, like the classic one, Immortal Sword?" Lu Anchen asked.
Xin Ling shook her head.
"In that ga, sotis there are treasure chests by the roadside or in houses for players to find. I think there must be so items inside." Lu Anchen squatted down and patted the box.
The other guests hadn’t gone far, curiously looking towards Lu Anchen.
Without hesitation, Lu Anchen opened the box. Sure enough, there was sothing inside—a small backpack with two bottles of water.
"Oh hey, got so supplies." Lu Anchen happily slung the backpack and said to Xin Ling, "Xin Ling, let know if you get thirsty, I’ll give you water."
At this mont, an announcent sounded on the broadcast.
"Congratulations to Lu Anchen for discovering the first blind box and obtaining supply items. We wish everyone the sa good luck."
Blind box?
Ruan Tingyi looked at the delighted Lu Anchen but pondered the aning of the announcent.
It wasn’t called a treasure chest, but a blind box, what does that imply?
Ruan Tingyi soon found out what it ant.
After a few steps, another box appeared by the roadside.
Gao Yuxin quickened her pace to run up, calling Kong Shubai to open the box together.
"I think you should be cautious, because the broadcast ntioned it’s a blind box. You’re not sure what’s inside." Lu Anchen, who also played gas, reminded.
"You can’t not let others take supplies just because you got them." Gao Yuxin said with a smile, but the words felt uncomfortable.
Ruan Tingyi wouldn’t remind Gao Yuxin, as this woman always harbored hostility towards her. She always felt Gao Yuxin wasn’t kind-hearted. See, silly Lu Anchen, you kindly reminded them, but got snarky remarks in return.
Gao Yuxin beckoned Kong Shubai and together they opened the box. Then a white mist burst from the box.
"Ah! What’s this?" Gao Yuxin scread, defenselessly getting a face full of the white mist, while Kong Shubai, standing slightly further away, only got it on his collar and chest.
"Flour." Kong Shubai felt inside the box, pulled out a piece of paper, and read the words on it, "Congratulations on being poisoned. Poisoned players please hop forward on one leg for fifteen steps, then the poison will be cured."
Everyone: ...
Director are you toxic?
Lu Anchen couldn’t hold back and laughed out loud.
Watching Kong Shubai and Gao Yuxin hopping forward on one leg, everyone felt a clench in their stomach. It’s just the beginning, but we’ve started out this way. Can they really beat this ga? More accurately, can they maintain their heroic and goddess image while passing this ga?
