Zhou Shiqiu found a couple of large sports bags and stuffed them full of food and water, then filled the car with plenty as well.
The two discussed a bit and decided to set off the next day.
That night when sleeping, Xu Yuxi was awakened by Little Green.
"Master, soone has broken in," Little Green said in Xu Yuxi’s mind.
Xu Yuxi turned over, woke Zhou Shiqiu, and whispered, "Shh, soone’s broken in."
The two quickly got dressed and quietly crept downstairs, and sure enough, heard soone trying to open the door.
Being superpower users, their hearing was exceptional, and they could clearly hear the voices of the people at the door.
"This villa is different from the surrounding area. There must be people inside, right?"
"Who cares, we’re all starving. If there’re people, we’ll just take so stuff. If they resist, don’t bla us for being rude."
"Just don’t cause any fatalities. It’s tough for everyone right now. We’ll grab so food and leave, okay?"
"Enough with the chatter. You play the nice guy while I play the villain later, huh?" another voice said impatiently, "I don’t get your sympathy. You’re riding a bicycle and sympathizing with those in a BMW. How many of those rich folks are decent?"
"Well, they worked hard to earn that money. Not every rich person is bad!"
"Keep yapping, and see if I don’t hit you!"
"Yeah, stop arguing with Brother Zhang, will you? Just finding sothing to eat is enough. I think Brother Zhang is right; every rich person deserves to die! When the apocalypse ca, those rich folks were the first to run away."
Xu Yuxi and Zhou Shiqiu exchanged a glance; there were three people outside, and it seed that the trio’s views and ways were not consistent.
Xu Yuxi whispered to Zhou Shiqiu, "Can you sense their positions? Don’t let them in. Try using earth to wrap them up, see if you can do it."
"I’ll try." Zhou Shiqiu nodded. In the past month, they hadn’t been idle; besides keeping an eye on the outside situation, Little Green had guided them in practicing their superpowers. Now, they were quite adept at using their abilities.
Zhou Shiqiu closed her eyes and began to sense.
Xu Yuxi waited nervously; this was Shiqiu’s first ti using a superpower against enemies, and she was even more nervous than Shiqiu herself.
Soon, cries of alarm sounded outside the door.
"What the hell is going on?"
"What’s with this dirt, why is it moving like it’s alive?"
"There’s a superpower user, there’s an Earth Attribute superpower user in there!"
"Big brother, we were wrong, please let us go. We just didn’t recognize Mount Tai, we just wanted to find so food. Please spare our miserable lives."
"Sorry, we’re really sorry, we just wanted to find so food," said the voice of the person who had been advising against Brother Zhang.
"Big brother, spare us, please. Killing us will only dirty this place, spare us, please."
Zhou Shiqiu wrapped the three with earth, moved them to the wall, and then threw them out.
Xu Yuxi sneered, "So people are like this, vicious and cruel to the weak, yet kneel and beg in such a disgusting manner when confronted by soone stronger. That face is truly repulsive." After a pause, she added, "But thankfully, not everyone is like that."
