"She’s already seventeen and only just opened her Heavenly Eye. There’s no ti for steady accumulation of those things. The fastest growth cos from practice, extre practice. Make her grow quickly so she can handle any sudden changes," Tianmiao patiently continued to explain.
"I understand, Master, is this what it ans to ’pull up seedlings to help them grow’? But this pulling up is only beneficial for her," Kong Hou walked over holding a milkshake, enthusiastically asking after hearing their conversation. Hmph, she was quite knowledgeable about human culture.
"Yes, it’s a beneficial ’pulling up’," Tianmiao nodded with a smile, then added leisurely, "Of course, it’s also because I’m lazy. That’s why I never took on students before. This ti, the child is too well-behaved, so I accepted her."
Dong Xiao: "..."
Kong Hou: "..."
Alright, Master is always Master.
But, this child is very well-behaved. Kong Hou and Dong Xiao exchanged a glance; they still couldn’t quite understand why this child seed so well-behaved. She was polite, but what was it that made Master say she was very well-behaved?
Later, they finally understood what Tianmiao ant by those words.
More than just well-behaved, she was simply a model disciple!

At school, Cui Wenyan sat sowhat nervously at her seat in class.
But honestly, there wasn’t much fear.
Ti ticked away bit by bit.
Recalling back to the outage ti, it always seed to be at the end of the last evening self-study session.
Finally, the bell signaling the end of the last evening self-study rang.
On weekends, the entire school building was empty, only the glowing green sign marking the safety path remained lit. Boarding students mostly left on weekends as well. The nightti school felt eerily quiet.
Finally, the ti arrived. Cui Wenyan pulled out her phone and quickly opened the ghost hunting app, the small program for detecting ghostly presence. The interface quickly transford into a radar-like monitor, with various data rapidly shifting. About three minutes later, a white dot appeared on her phone.
That white dot was a ghost!
Cui Wenyan was sowhat excited, staring at her phone. The app was truly amazing.
Following the position indication, she walked to the third floor. Only her footsteps echoed on the quartz floor of the corridor. Despite the tightly shut windows, she still felt a chill breeze blow past. Slowing down her pace, she pushed open classroom doors one by one, finding each pitch-dark with nothing inside.
Until she neared the last room, and heard the sound of a chair moving. It seed like soone stood up and dragged their chair backward.
The classroom was pitch-black. No one would co for evening self-study at this ti, and no one would stay with the lights off.
So, what made that noise was...
Cui Wenyan frowned, her right hand gripping her left wrist, removing the bracelet worn there, stretching it into a Nine Bends Whip.
Cui Wenyan slowly pushed open this door, gripping the Nine Bends Whip tightly.
On her phone, the soul sensing value kept rising. The flashing white dot turned red and emitted a warning. She knew this ghost was right inside and very dangerous.
The extrely quiet classroom suddenly had a few noises, the blackboard seed to be scraped by sothing sharp, producing an ear-piercing sound. Cui Wenyan advanced step by step from the front, her heart racing. Facing a ghost directly for the first ti made her quite nervous.
