The vengeful ghost was montarily distracted, allowing Cui Wenyan to lash it with a whip, severing one of its arms.
The ghost let out a long howl, transforming into a black mist, attempting to escape.
Cui Wenyan was about to pursue, but Tianmiao spoke calmly, "Let it go."
Cui Wenyan imdiately halted.
"Aunt? Is that the vengeful ghost?" Wu Yihao and Liang Bing ca closer.
"Master, letting it go is very dangerous," Luo Peng comnted as he approached.
"What do you know, little fox? Aunt must have a plan. It won’t get away!" Wu Yihao said confidently.
"Yes, Aunt definitely has a better plan." Liang Bing excitedly watched the exit as the stone door opened. He eagerly anticipated what was to co, feeling that Aunt had released the ghost to orchestrate sothing big. He was just waiting for Tianmiao’s word to rush out and see the excitent.
"Let’s go, we should get out too. Yes, it won’t get away." Tianmiao led the way, and the others followed her out of the tomb.
The group followed Tianmiao out of the tomb and walked towards the village. The black shadow soared into the sky, attempting to flee, but once it reached mid-air, it crashed into an invisible barrier, producing a sizzling sound as if being burned. The vengeful ghost let out a tragic wail as it plumted downward.
Luo Peng and Bai Yue were dumbfounded.

Wu Yihao and Liang Bing also thought it was impressive, but they couldn’t quite conceive how impressive it truly was.

No one responded to them; Tianmiao casually watched the black shadow writhing in pain in mid-air.
The vengeful ghost shrieked, realizing it would et its end if this continued. It swiftly moved through the village, steering clear of Tianmiao’s group. A couple ca into view, the sa couple who had previously been "doing business" with Uncle Jiang and Aunt Jiang.
Upon seeing the ghost, they prepared to kneel in worship.
Instead, what greeted them was a gaping maw and sharp teeth.
Blood sprayed, and the screams were so piercing it pained the ears.
The ghost realized that devouring souls burned it, but tearing into these humans left it unscathed!
"Ah, the following scene may not be suitable for children. You two can cover your eyes and wait here. Luo Peng and Bai Yue, keep an eye on them." Tianmiao suddenly rembered sothing, telling Wu Yihao and Liang Bing before turning to Cui Wenyan, "Disciple, let’s go take a look."
"Yes." Cui Wenyan nodded, following Tianmiao.
Wu Yihao and Liang Bing had initially intended to follow, but upon taking a few steps and seeing the grisly state of the ravaged couple, they found themselves unable to proceed. It was too horrifying. The sound of teeth sinking into flesh, the terrifying sight of severed limbs— they simply could not bear it. Watching Cui Wenyan calmly follow Tianmiao,
