"Umm... well the adventuring party I assembled for you... One of the criteria to join was to agree to be part of your... harem..." She said, nearly whispering that last part.

"Wha- my what?" John kind of knew what a harem was, but who would... what is... how did... "But... why? What did you do? Why would I want a harem?" was the only thing he could get out, his brain locking up. He suddenly felt a headache coming on. He closed his eyes and covered his face with his hand, massaging his temples.

Nanaella didn't look any better, her previous flushed and content expression now turning pale, the blood draining from her face. She realized she may have jumped to so conclusions with John-Sama. She thought he would accept her plan without question, but now... with his confused and betrayed expression, she realized she may have overstepped her bounds.

"John-Sama, please, let explain." She said quickly. "If things go as planned, you will be getting a bunch of political marriage proposals in the future. I gathered the party so you would have a group of core won around you, ones you know you can trust and don't have political motivations behind their advice. I want them, us, to be your rock, an island of stability when you are weathering the raging storms that might happen in our future."

John just looked at her, her words washing over him, his mind still trying to process that she put a... harem together for him. A group of won who... were they supposed to be other wives? Girl friends? Holes to fuck? He didn't know... "We didn't even get married yet Nanaella, and you... I... I was happy enough to just be with you, you know. Now...this. Who are they?"

"Terra, Shallia, Iris, and Evie. They are all low to mid ranked adventurers who are fairly strong, able to grow and willing to beco part of your harem. I did tell them you would probably want to get closer with them, fall in love, beco your wives officially and not just be a... place to release your stress." She said, her voice shaken but remaining determined.

"My stress? I am not so horny teenager Nanaella, I..." He stopped then, before he said sothing he regretted. His brain was starting to reboot now. "You did this for though. You are willing to share with others to make sure I had people I could trust around in the future?"

"Yeah...and to give you a large family. I... I still rember how sad you looked when we first t, when you said you missed your family." She replied, her head buried in his chest. "I wanted to make sure you had a big one here. The other girls are a little hesitant right now, but Shallia and I will give you as many children we can. We want to have a giant family with you John-Sama."

"A family..." He mused, rubbing his hand over her ears absently as he thought.

Brod and the guild want to gain power and beco this powerful political figure, a force of change, for the future of all the people on this continent. Nanaella, she thought of how to keep grounded, how to make sure I don't change too much as I gain power.

"I love you so much right now Nanaella." He said, pulling her up to his level and kissing her. He wasn't sure he agreed with her thod, but she did this for him, to help him. He couldn't be angry at her for this, no matter how unnecessary it was.

Do you think anyone there really cares if you have even a dozen wives? As long as you can sire children with those won, then no one will bat a eye.

The voice of Alec echoed through his mind, reminding him yet again that these worlds were very different than Earth, in more ways then one. Still, if he was going to do this, it would be on his terms.

"So, it is fine? You will accept them?" She asked, still shaking a bit.

"I will accept them as my party, but lets see if what happens as ti goes on if anything more happens, okay?" He replied, stroking her hair.

"Okay." She replied, then a small grin appeared on her lips. "Just a heads up, Shallia will probably wake you up with a blow job at so point. She really likes you."

He just laughed, not knowing what else to do at this point. His wife's friend actually did that when he was younger too... this was just a few steps beyond that.

"Huh? My party mber will give a blow job before my future wife? Sothing seems odd about that." John said, just rolling with it at this point.

"Maybe in the morning, but right now, you have better spot to put it." She said, a playful grin returning to her face.

John rolled on top of her again, thoughts of the future banished from his mind.

He had a bunny girl to sate. (9/10)

The morning ca, and they got cleaned up and dressed in their armour, carrying their empty backpacks with them. After a quick breakfast they left the guild together, both of them having so errands they wanted to run, but not wanting to split up.

He wanted to visit the slums again, then head over to the healers guild to take his next promotion. Nanaella wanted to stop by the market to grab supplies for the next week or two, then by the leather workers to get her chest piece adjusted to accommodate her larger breasts.

They chatted about the party as they walked and she filled him in on all the details of their short term plans. He was amazed they all agreed to it, though as Nanaella explained it, John was quite the catch for anyone in this world. A healer as a husband would guarantee a stable and substantial inco, even as one as cheap as John was. And he could keep providing even when he got older, healing magic not as hard on the body as soone who did labour or adventuring for decades.

The won all agreed to this even before learning of his possible future, where he could potentially be a ruler of nations, which made him happy.

They made it to the slums without incident, and John set up in his normal spot in the small plaza, Nanaella sitting down beside him. No one approached at first, which wasn't surprising, he was there much earlier than normal.

He kicked back in the chair and closed his eyes to do so training, focusing his mana on trying to cast his Firebolt spell finally. His mana was responding, gathering in his hand when Nanaella broke the silence.

"Is it usually this quiet?" She asked him, looking around at their surroundings. Due to her race, she had a fear of being kidnapped. She usually didn't venture around this part of town alone, at least not back when she was weaker. Now that she was strong she had no worries about visiting here, but other than her forr adventuring friend who lived near the outskirts, she had no reason to co.

"We are here a bit earlier than I normally visit, so I am not sure. But the kids saw us walk in, so I am confident we will have custors soon enough." He replied, focusing on bending his magic to his will. He was so close to getting this spell down.

"Well, I know we are being watched, but I am not quite sure where from... damn seven months and I am already rusty." She mumbled to herself.

They sat there quietly for the next ten minutes, both practicing their skills. John thought he was about to have a breakthrough when a bottle slamd down on the table, jolting him. As an unintended consequence of that surprise, the puzzle pieces of his magic clicked, sending a Firebolt directly at the holder of the bottle.

"ARGH! MY HAIR! MY HAIR!" Bazan yelled, the bolt of fire singeing his hair as it passed over his shoulder, dissipating half way across the plaza.

"Oh Shit! I am so sorry Bazan, you scared the hell out of ." John said, jumping up and patting out the smoldering hair that remained on that side of his head.

Serikos and Baasura were both bent over laughing at their comrades misery. Even Nanaella cracked a smile. "Hah, serves you right for interrupting a mage." Baasura said, helping John pat out the embers on his party leader.

"He isn't a mage, he is a healer. Interrupting him should have resulted in him healing at worse." He barked back at his buddy, then turned to John. "Since when could you use fire magic? Wait, how are you using fire magic? You are a healer right?"

John thought of lying for a mont, but Bazan was a friend. He might not be able to share everything, but maybe a little. "Yeah, I actually have affinities to most magics. So I have been slowly working on this spell. That was actually the first ti I successfully casted it."

"HA! That was successful all right! A little more to the left and he would look like a shaved testicle. Do it again!" Serikos said, pretending to hold Bazan still for John.

"Let go of you moron, else I will tell them about that ti a sli crawled in the tent while you were sleeping!" He said, smacking his party mber. The man took the smack and and laughed even harder. Bazan growled, then turned back to John.

'That is crazy." He said, then ran his fingers through what was left of his hair with a grimace. "Fuck John, this will take months to grow back. I wasn't going to, but now I think I will help those idiots co up with your new nickna. How does 'Friendly Fire' sound to you?"

"Fair enough. Wait a nick na? Who is making up a nick na for ? Why?" John replied, truly repentant that he nearly took Bazans head off with that spell. He had no idea about a nick na though.

"Oh just a bunch of adventurers who have too much ti on their hands. Calling you the Switch Harem Healer, among other things. It isn't set in stone yet. Really, they are just jealous you are marrying Nanaella and that you had her forming a harem for you as punishnt for hurting you so much." He said, dusting the ashes off his jacket.

John was at a loss for words, and by the looks of it, Nanaella was as well. She had a deep blush on her face, embarrassed due to her attempts at secretly putting John's party together having unintended side effects.

Before John could muster a partial denial, Bazan continued "Bah, no matter. I heard you were heading this way, so we wanted to hang out for a bit before you depart. I can't believe a healer is actually going to lead an adventuring party. Your type is usually too soft for that." He then popped open the bottle, and producing a few small wooden cups, he started pouring drinks.

The four of them chatted for a bit, the White Wolves teasing John more often than not about what had been going on around the guild the last few days. Nanaella was quiet, embarrassed at exactly how inconspicuous she was being during the recruitnt. She really needed to punish her Uncles for confirming and flaming the rumours though.

John held her hand, then leaned in and asked if she was okay. She just nodded, but remained silent. Eventually, the locals started showing up and John started doing what he ca here to do.

Help the poor, the sick, the people in need.

In an abandoned ho in the slums...

The place was dark, the remnants of the previous tenant strewn about the residence, anything of value already removed by other families. The shutters on the windows were all boarded up, except for the ones in a third floor bedroom, providing a view over the plaza below to anyone who cared to look.

Currently a man stood there, watching out of it as an unknown healer, who was guarded by several adventurers, was treating the pitiful residents of this slum district. He was not only healing them though, but he was not charging them anything for the service, the people leaving with smiles on their faces.

"Disgusting. Why is a human mingling with all those beasts. It almost makes want to puke." He said to himself, his distaste for the other races clearly showing on his face.

He kept away from the window ledge, that Rabbitman almost spotting him earlier was keeping him wary. He would need to report this all to the boss soon, the addition of that powerful A-Ranked party changing his plans of capturing the healer today. He was strong, but not that strong.

"Tsk, we will need to hire so rcenaries for this. Oh well, it's not my money."

He kept watch for awhile, then relocated when it looked like his target was nearly finished with his charity work. He wanted to be well away from the slums before then, incase one of those adventures managed to detect him despite his precautions.

This wasn't the first ti he had dealt with people who had high levels and strong skills. It didn't matter if you were level three or three hundred, a knife in the throat would kill you just the sa if you didn't see it coming.
