Gu Jiaojiao looked at Yu Fangfang’s belly.
"You must be about to give birth, Fangfang!"
Yu Fangfang nodded, stroking her belly affectionately. "Yes! My due date is in January."
It was already the twelfth lunar month, so there was only one month to go.
"How about I check your pulse?"
Yu Fangfang’s eyes lit up.

Each one was for a pound, making two pounds in total.
"Here you go, Fangfang."

Gu Jiaojiao accepted the three yuan from Yu Fangfang, and the won sat in the room chatting.
As they talked, the conversation turned to Xu Wenwan.
The two won were both exasperated with their young sister-in-law and couldn’t help but vent to Gu Jiaojiao.
Gu Jiaojiao listened with great interest. She hadn’t expected that Xu Wenwan had actually been beaten so badly that she was bedridden.
