Unconsciousness was probably a defense chanism. This reality was too despairing, her last chance of escape gone. Iä! would soon be contained.

Adele collapsed. Xiaosu, beside her, cried, “Sister Adele! Squeak!” and supported her. Adele, panting, regained consciousness and looked at Victoria, peacefully lying on the ground. The evil god’s power had dissipated.
