"Lynn promises to treat Vivian well, cherishing her like a precious treasure, doing everything in his power to fulfill her wishes. If she wanted to go to the sky, I’d imdiately catch a female dragon for her to ride!"
Although it wasn’t a vow made in front of everyone, Lynn has always been a man of his word. If he says sothing, he will do it.
"Listen to you! There’s only a little female dragon at the Princess’s Mansion in Celestial Destiny City. Are you planning to snatch Princess Helena’s mount?"
Vivian covered her mouth and chuckled softly at his words. Of course, she trusted Lynn’s promise, but his example was way too exaggerated. At level 100, how could she dare to ride a dragon? Everyone knows dragons are infamously proud. If it weren’t for Princess Helena and her dragon being best friends, despite Princess Helena’s extraordinary talent and her status as a young Saint Tier, even the Initial Saint level dragon wouldn’t willingly let her ride.
"Helena is a Dragon Knight?"
Hearing Princess Helena’s na ntioned by Vivian, Lynn instantly recalled the blue-haired beauty he had only encountered once at Duke Wilson’s Mansion.
He could tell that she wasn’t weak at the ti, but he never expected she was a legendary Dragon Knight.
Nice, even I haven’t ridden a dragon yet...
"Yes, Princess Helena is one of the top ten geniuses of the Empire. She beca a Saint Tier powerhouse at the age of just twenty-four. Two years ago, her best friend Natasha beca a Saint Tier giant dragon. Don’t be fooled by their slightly over level 500 status; in a fight, if Princess Helena rides Natasha, they could knock down a 600-level seasoned Saint Tier."
As she spoke of Princess Helena, who was equally renowned in a certain aspect, an excited glow appeared on Vivian’s blushing face.
Though she wasn’t deeply acquainted with Princess Helena, they did share a bit of a bond. Unlike others who admired Princess Helena for her stunning beauty, Vivian, who did not lose out in that aspect, envied her talent and training prowess.
In truth, Princess Helena is like a half-chase target for Vivian. She once graced the Anti-Demon Battlefield with her princess status and reportedly even slew three Demon Race Saint Tiers in formation. She and Natasha are the icon duo in countless young ambitious girls’ hearts in the Celestial Destiny Empire. If the princess weren’t a girl and the dragon female, they might have garnered enough admirers to fill a city with young wives.
It’s a pity such a golden duo couldn’t continue their accomplishnts on the frontline. Due to an edict from His Majesty the Emperor, they were called back from the Anti-Demon Frontline. Rumor has it that the princess needs to sign a marriage certificate, so her presence is required.
"A bestie dragon knight duo, just thinking about it feels so stylish."
Lynn seed to sigh involuntarily. He could see the longing in Vivian’s eyes, so he complinted Princess Helena in line with her feelings.
In reality, Lynn wasn’t particularly optimistic about besties forming a duo. Having watched too many movies and dramas, he felt the term "bestie" was almost synonymous with betrayal. They’re getting along now, but should they both et an extrely outstanding man, one a tad shy of his level, there’s no guarantee they wouldn’t fight.
Of course, in a world that allows polygamy, there’s also the possibility of two people and a dragon leading a happy family life.
But in that case, the male lead would be exhausted.
He might have to ride the Dragon Knight, ride the dragon, be ridden by the Dragon Knight, and also be ridden by the dragon...
Just imagining it makes one’s legs tremble, kidneys ache. It’s best not to seek such hardship, not when I’m young and inexperienced. I might really not handle it...
Vivian, with her soft, fragrant nature, suits ... Xiya, with her exotic allure and top-tier beauty, also suits ...
And there’s Catherine the ntor, whom I only saw from a distance after the traverse, whom I’ve called ’wife’ for a decade. Now that we’re finally in the sa real world, there’s no reason to forget her...
"It’d be wonderful if I could beco as strong as them one day..."
As she uttered these words, Vivian’s eyes were full of longing and regret. She sincerely wished to shed her weakness, becoming soone who could contribute to the Divine Protection Continent, not just a noble young lady spending her days drinking tea and living in comfort.
But her talent was seriously lacking, perhaps all directed towards her beauty at birth. She could reach heights in looks, but in terms of power, all she had was regret.
"Getting stronger isn’t that difficult, is it? I’ll find so ti to help you level up."
Lynn had just promised to do everything possible to fulfill Vivian’s wishes, so how could he turn his back on that? Besides, helping others level up was sothing he’d done a lot before, just that it was service for a fee. Now, helping Vivian definitely ant no charge; he’d have to find another way to gain sothing...
"How can I level up? I don’t have talent, can’t accumulate experience points, and without them, there’s no way to level up..."
Vivian pouted as she gently patted Little Yuna lying snuggly in her lap, speaking softly and dejectedly.
"Uh..."
Hearing this, Lynn fell silent for a mont. He had forgotten that NPCs... no, they couldn’t be called NPCs but rather indigenous people couldn’t team up to level up. Teaming was an in-ga system feature, which the indigenous people clearly didn’t have.
In the Miracle World, there are two main ways to gain experience points: passive cultivation and killing monsters.
Whether it’s players or indigenous people, they can gain experience points through these two ans and then level up.
However, passive cultivation’s efficiency is far behind that of killing monsters. Typically, players set up passive cultivation before going offline to sleep or rest, but for regular activities, they rely on monster-killing for leveling up.
Indigenous people in the Miracle World aren’t incapable of monster-killing to level up; they just can’t sustain long-term monster fights.
If players get hurt during monster-killing, a bottle of Red dicine heals them. Mages who deplete their magic power just drink Blue dicine to restore it.
But indigenous people aren’t so lucky—they really get injured if hit by monsters, requiring treatnt and rest for recovery. Mages need to ditate to restore their magic power after it’s consud.
Red and Blue dicine are products exclusive to the system shop. If indigenous people could also use these to restore health and magic, what would players be needed for? Everyone could carry a backpack full of ds and outlast the Demon Race.
"When there’s ti, let’s try going outdoors. Maybe it’ll be a surprise."
Lynn wasn’t quite sure if, after losing the ga interface, he could still team up to level up. But a trip didn’t cost a teleport fee, so when there’s a chance, it was worth a try.
Just not today, as today Xiya might bring Little Youli over, and he needs to stay ho waiting for the wife and child to return.
