Lynn ignored the middle-aged couple kneeling and wailing; the man seed familiar, perhaps seen at Duke Wilson’s Mansion, but Lynn didn’t care.
What concerned him most at that mont was Little Yuna because he saw her trembling in her grandmother’s arms, sobbing, with tears at the corners of her eyes, as if she’d just had a big cry.
Although Little Youli was the daughter he adopted, how could Little Yuna not be a baby of his? Seeing his precious one suffer, how could Lynn not be angry?
"Are you Little Yuna’s parents? Planning to send her to Duke Soros’ Mansion?"
Still not looking down at the middle-aged couple, Lynn walked over to Little Yuna’s side, gently taking her from her grandmother’s arms, and with his back turned, he asked her parents.
"That’s not the case! Yuna is now your child. We... we have nothing to do with her."
If facing soone else, the middle-aged man might have tried to establish a connection through his daughter, but facing soone who casually beat Dukes and, reportedly, the Emperor Himself feared, he dared not attempt it.
One reason was that he couldn’t figure out the capricious nature of the adult.
The second was that in the Celestial Destiny Empire, forging such a connection could easily bring the Emperor’s attention, and that never ended well.
The best choice was to abandon the girl and protect themselves. For this couple, Yuna was never an important relative; had they not aged and beco less fertile, they might have already given Yuna away.
Now this arrangent was favorable. Though unable to send Yuna to Duke Soros’ Mansion for wealth, following soone impervious even to Dukes and Princes might not earn their gratitude but at least wouldn’t bring bla.
"Now... Little Yuna, let ask you, do you want to leave this ho and be my daughter with Little Youli?"
For Lynn, the parent’s thoughts were secondary. Even if they disagreed, he could still... reach consensus or fulfill wishes. What mattered was if Little Yuna herself wanted to leave her negligent biological parents and embrace him.
"I... I..."
Asked so directly, the previously tearful Little Yuna suddenly seed bewildered.
Her feelings for her parents were almost nonexistent; they never loved her, nor pampered her, and she heard many tis they wanted to send her away for a son.
Leaving parents she lacked feelings for posed no hesitation; however, her grandmother...
"I don’t like daddy and mommy, but I like grandma..."
Little Yuna whispered, choking in Lynn’s arms. She certainly wanted to be real sisters with Lily, but was unwilling to leave her upbringing grandmother.
"That’s easily solved. Both of you co here. I’ll buy this house for the elderly. You take the money and leave Celestial Destiny City, go anywhere you wish, but never return to disturb Little Yuna. Can you manage that?"
As Lynn spoke, he counted out five bags full of gold coins, not huge money for him but enough to buy their house, even considering future appreciation and so retirent funds.
Though sowhat presumptuous, Little Yuna would certainly agree, but her grandmother hesitated.
On one side, her beloved granddaughter and, on the other, her son and daughter-in-law. Lynn’s arrangent compelled her to choose sides, difficult for an old woman perceiving not many years left.
Despite her son being selfish, he was her flesh and blood; if they left Celestial Destiny City never to return, she couldn’t reconcile by staying with Yuna.
However, there’s no perfect choice. Given the couple’s earlier plan, Yuna’s new father couldn’t tolerate them, including her own shock and speechlessness over their malice.
"Leave... Let soone bring a ssage later. If I have ti, I’ll visit you."
Ultimately, Little Yuna’s grandmother chose the deeper emotional bond, her genuinely affectionate granddaughter. As for her son and daughter-in-law, they couldn’t return, but she could visit while able.
"We’ll leave imdiately! Right away... Rest assured, there’s no relation with Yuna anymore; she is entirely yours!"
Though not acquiring imnse wealth, the five bags of gold coins Lynn gave were enough for a good life in a smaller city for 20-30 years.
Prepared for neither wealth nor protection, this unexpected gain prompted them to leave quickly, fearing Lynn might change his mind.
Regarding their elderly mother, she was already a burden; leaving her with Yuna was ideal, sparing them expenses.
One can’t forsake money for morality.

Once the unsightly individuals departed, besides a tinge of sadness from Little Yuna’s grandmother, all were elated.
With the biological parents’ consent, Lynn officially had two daughters—Little Youli and Little Yuna.
The two little ones were overjoyed; the previously crying Little Yuna burst into laughter.
After the joy, they both approached Lynn, planted a loud kiss on his cheeks, complete with a "mua~" sound effect.
"Mom, you need to reward Dad too."
Not satisfied with their own kisses, the two littles urged Xiya and Catherine, noting if Vivian were there, she’d join too.
"I’ll pass, I’m the godmother."
Catherine waved her hands, signaling reluctance to get too close to a man.
Then the little ones focused their gaze on Xiya, collectively launching a starry-eyed attack.
Xiya, under their assault, blushed slightly, appearing reluctant, but approached Lynn, tipped her toes, and lightly pecked his cheek.
Lynn was content with Xiya’s proactive cheek kiss, but his daughters found it insufficient.
How could a kiss from their parents be like children’s? It should be like this!
The two littles acted in sync, transford into a head-pressing squad, one pressing Lynn, the other Xiya, aligning them, and soon, elf’s and man’s lips softly collided.
