A smile touched the corners of Blind Bei’s lips as he slowly uttered two words:
"Demon King."
A surge of vital energy and blood rushed to Zheng Fan’s head. The sensation was akin to smoking for the first ti, or perhaps experiencing an air raid for the first ti. Regardless, his head was filled with a strong wave of dizziness.
Zheng Fan controlled the tremor in his voice, nodded slightly, and said, "I like that title."
Blind Bei took a step back. "We like it too."
Just then, Xue Three arrived, dragging a barbarian whose body was riddled with stab wounds. The barbarian was still breathing, leaving a trail of blood on the ground as he was dragged.
"Zombie, translate for ," Xue Three said. "This brute tried to take advantage of the chaos to molest so of the won in our residence. Heh heh, I caught him."
Upon hearing this, Zheng Fan turned to Blind Bei beside him and asked, "Was this also arranged?"
Blind Bei shook his head. "This wasn’t in the script."
"So, it’s real?"
"It should be."
This ti, there wasn’t even a sliver of guilt for entrapnt.
Zheng Fan said bluntly, "Kill him."
From this day forward, they eat my food, wear my clothes, use my things, and still dare to touch the won in my household? In their dreams!
Liang Cheng began to explain to the more than five hundred barbarians present what cri the barbarian held by Xue Three had committed. The barbarians all looked at their "brother" with eyes full of sympathy. The horrifying and absurd manner of the previous man’s death had shocked them profoundly.
The scene that unfolded next was not suitable for children.

However, many of the barbarians below were so frightened they either cried or vomited. They weren’t afraid of killing, nor even of being killed, but this thod of killing terrified them to their very bones.
Initially, persuaded by Liang Cheng and A Ming, they believed they had arrived in paradise and found hope. But they suddenly discovered that they had, in fact, fallen into a den of demons!
The young wolf cub walked out from among the barbarians and respectfully knelt before Zheng Fan. The barbarians behind him all knelt in unison once more. They began to repeat the word in the barbarian tongue that signified "Demon King." This ti, they were exceptionally orderly. This ti, their submission was also absolute.
Accompanied by the resounding shouts of "Demon King!" Xue Three, Siniang, Liang Cheng, A Ming, and Fanli all knelt down as well.
Blind Bei, standing beside Zheng Fan, also took two steps back and knelt on one knee.
In the entire assembly, only Zheng Fan remained standing.
Zheng Fan closed his eyes slightly, savoring the feeling of this mont.
Honestly, so things truly are addictive. Once experienced, there’s no going back, no returning to how things were.
He had finally embarked on this path, the one these fiends under his command had wanted him to take.

Blind Bei then whispered, "My lord, there should be a voiceover at this point."
Zheng Fan softly uttered, "Hmm?"

"The so-and-so army?"
"I haven’t thought of a na yet," Blind Bei admitted honestly. "But I’ve always felt that if this were a TV show, novel, or comic, such a voiceover would be appropriate right now."
"I personally dislike such presumptuous authorial foreshadowing."
"My lord is wise," Blind Bei replied.
"These n were all chosen from the penal tribes, weren’t they?"
"They can be considered the elite of the elite among the barbarian troops," Blind Bei answered.
"I’m truly curious. When those Qian State people, who have always looked down on the Yan people, co face to face with these defeated soldiers of Yan State, what will their reaction be?"
Blind Bei flashed his signature sly smile. "My lord, we are all eagerly anticipating it too."

The evening’s grueso and nauseating display had left Zheng Fan with no desire to spend ti with Siniang, so he retired to bed early.

When Zheng Fan awoke and was washing, he could hear the sounds of training drills from outside. Evidently, Liang Cheng had begun training this group of barbarians.

"Oh? To where?"
