Suddenly, within the single eye of the monster that Heart had transford into, the arcane markings shattered one after another.
A massive amount of blood flowed out from that one eye.
At the sa ti, White Bird, whose body had just recovered after being lted by the white flas of her own Technique, was stunned to see the twisted humanoid effortlessly devour all of her flas.
A scream escaped Child's lips. The spectral infants were on the verge of collapsing.
Countless faces erged from the twisted humanoid's body, gnawing on the infants at the sa ti.
But at this mont, Yang An was surprised to find that only the countless streams of Golden Radiance he had unleashed passed directly through the twisted humanoid's body. They didn't dissipate, nor were they devoured.
'Light Magic is effective?!'
Yang An was stunned.
"All together now!"
Just then, White Bird shouted.
The situation was urgent. They couldn't let the twisted humanoid continue to grow stronger, or else everyone knew what the consequences would be.
She took the lead, charging toward the twisted humanoid and abruptly transforming into a giant bird wreathed in white flas.
With the head of a human and the body of a bird, she was completely engulfed in fire as she pounced on the twisted humanoid.
The head of the monster Heart had beco burst open, revealing countless blood vessels that shot toward the twisted humanoid.
At the sa ti, the infants beside the twisted humanoid could no longer hold on, dissipating with piercing screams.
But in the next mont, a massive, several-dozen-foot-tall black infant suddenly appeared behind the twisted humanoid, its chubby hands clamping down on the creature.
And while no one was paying attention, Yang An had already taken out Bow Lady. A light flashed around him, and in an instant, he transford into a luminous figure filled with five-colored light, a Light Wheel hovering above his head.
"Let into its body! Let in!"
Bow Lady guided him, her voice a frantic shout, seemingly unable to resist the desire to devour those souls.
But Yang An didn't strike just yet.
If he attacked now, it would be an indiscriminate assault, and the other three would definitely be caught in the crossfire.
"Fellow Daoist He Tou?"
Seeing that Heart and White Bird had already charged the twisted humanoid, Child, who was using all her strength to control the giant infant, called out in confusion.
Everyone had made their move except for Yang An.
"Two breaths!"
Yang An replied softly.
He was waiting. A two-breath delay should be enough to avoid hitting Heart and White Bird.
Child didn't understand Yang An's reply, but she had no ti to worry about him now.
The infant held the twisted humanoid firmly, but the faces were madly devouring the flesh on the infant's hands. Simultaneously, gaping wounds appeared on Child's own hands, and blood gushed out.
Countless blood vessels pierced the twisted humanoid's body, injecting large amounts of black blood into it.
It was like injecting a large amount of blood into filthy sewage.
The twisted humanoid's body seed to boil, and the faces within let out silent wails and screams.
But before a single breath had passed, the massive amount of blood dissipated in an instant, as if it had been broken down. The result was that the filth within the twisted humanoid's body beca even murkier.
Instead, even more filthy fluid surged madly into the blood vessels, flowing back toward the monster that was Heart.
Seeing things go south, Heart tried to retract the extended blood vessels, but the filthy fluid had already entered them and was pouring into his body.
Countless faces appeared on the flesh of the monster that was Heart, wailing mournfully from beneath its skin.
A black shadow suddenly enveloped Heart. His body and enormous head abruptly exploded into fragnts, scattering chunks of flesh everywhere.
At this mont, White Bird had reached the twisted humanoid. She transford into a streak of fla that instantly passed through the creature's towering body, setting it ablaze.
Within a breath, she turned into countless violent flas that rained down upon the twisted humanoid's body.
A multitude of faces wailed and shrieked amidst the fire, showing faint signs of lting and evaporating. But just then, countless streams of black ichor flowed into the twisted humanoid's body from the outside.
The faces that had been on the verge of lting quickly stabilized.
In an instant, innurable black tentacles split off from the twisted humanoid's body, piercing through White Bird's fiery form without any resistance.
The white flas were instantly stained black, turning from fire to thick smoke in a single breath.
The human-headed, bird-bodied White Bird was instantly transford into a great cloud of black smoke. Only White Bird's head remained outside, but her body was tightly ensnared.
Left with no choice, White Bird's neck spewed a torrent of black blood as she decisively abandoned her body, separating her head from it and using the opportunity to create distance.
Three people had attacked in succession, yet none had managed to inflict any damage on the twisted figure. Instead, it was continuously growing stronger and more difficult to deal with.
The gazes of all three turned in unison toward Yang An, who had yet to act.
Though they didn't know what he was planning, they feared it was already too late for him to act.
They were all in the Visceral Stone Realm. Heart's and White Bird's Cultivation Levels were even higher than his, yet even they had failed to have any effect on the twisted humanoid.
The twisted humanoid was swelling larger and larger, having already grown several tis its size of a few dozen feet in the blink of an eye.
"Kill ourselves! Do it now! Don't give it any chance!"
White Bird suddenly shouted.
Although the Workshop Master had previously warned them never to kill themselves, they were no match for this twisted humanoid. To escape this place, they had no choice but to commit suicide and allow their consciousness to return to their original bodies.
Suicide offered a chance of returning; not committing suicide ant letting the twisted humanoid grow even stronger, leaving them with even less hope of defeating it.
The mont she finished speaking, White Bird prepared to act and end the life of this vessel body.
But just then, a voice reached her ears.
"Not so fast. I'm still here!"
White Bird froze, her gaze imdiately shifting to Yang An.
"You..."
Before she could finish, Yang An had already transford into a streak of light and pierced through the twisted humanoid's body.
A pure white bow was left inside the twisted humanoid's body, while Yang An himself reappeared behind it.
'Bow Lady! Eat as much as you can!'
Yang An shouted to her in his mind.
He had originally planned to attack right after White Bird and the others, but Bow Lady had stopped him.
She was waiting.
Waiting for the number of souls within the twisted humanoid to grow. At first, there were only a few hundred, but now there were likely over a thousand.
This would be of imnse benefit to her!
And just after he pierced the twisted humanoid, a massive, several-dozen-foot-tall Divine Aspect suddenly manifested. Its two giant arms shot out, grabbing the twisted humanoid's body tightly.
The next mont, a blinding light erupted from Yang An's body, like a sun suddenly appearing in the darkness, instantly engulfing the twisted humanoid.
Dozens of feet away, the expressions on the faces of White Bird and the other two changed in unison as they scrambled backward.
They had only hesitated for a mont, but in the instant the light shone upon them, their bodies began to rapidly dissolve.
If they hadn't reacted so quickly, they wouldn't have died at the hands of the twisted humanoid, but at Yang An's instead.
"This is..."
Once they had retreated to a safe distance, more than a hundred feet away, they looked at the incredibly blinding light before them, unable to even stare at it directly.
It felt as if a single glance would dissolve their very souls.
"Light Magic?! So much Light Magic?! He's a madman!!"
They were all Innate Flesh Mushrooms. Although they could suppress all the costs they needed to bear, once they stepped into the Corpse Transformation Realm, all those deferred costs would erupt.
No one wants to die, and they wanted to die even less.
That was why Innate Flesh Mushrooms like them had always chosen Cultivation and Technique thods whose costs were generally within a range they could bear.
If other Cultivators constantly endured costs and suffering, then they were accumulating all the costs and suffering they should have borne, waiting for the day it would all inevitably erupt.
For an Innate Flesh Mushroom, Light Magic was a taboo they would never even dream of touching!
According to the Workshop Master, if one cultivated other Techniques, no matter how bizarre, there was still hope of surviving the Corpse Transformation.
But cultivating Light Magic ant certain death for anyone. For an Innate Flesh Mushroom versus a normal Cultivator, it was rely a difference of dying sooner or later; there was absolutely no hope of survival after stepping into the Corpse Transformation Realm.
Such cases had happened before.
But what shocked White Bird and the others even more was the sheer quantity! Fellow Daoist He Tou was cultivating far too many types of Light Magic!
Such terrifyingly powerful energy, capable of dissolving anything it touched... it would likely take at least five different Light Magic Techniques activated simultaneously to achieve such an effect.
When all other Cultivators avoided Light Magic like the plague, where did he even find so many?
The three of them looked at each other, montarily at a loss for words.
But as they watched the sun-like radiance devour the twisted humanoid, a thought suddenly surfaced in their minds.
'Does this an we don't have to kill ourselves?'
Bathed in the endless light, the twisted humanoid rapidly dissolved. The shrill screams and chants of countless faces filled Yang An's ears.
Pain, distortion, madness, darkness...
Countless emotions seed to flood his mind at that mont, twisting Yang An's face into a grimace of agony.
The faces hiding inside the twisted humanoid were chanting the Whispers of Xian Summoning, attempting to resist the light emanating from Yang An, and it seed to be quite effective.
But at the sa ti, another voice also entered Yang An's ears.
One filled with madness and excitent!
"Delicious! Not one of you is getting away! You're all mine! All mine!"
Bow Lady was like the nesis of these souls, unscrupulously devouring them one by one inside the twisted humanoid's body.
In just two short breaths, the chanting in Yang An's ears rapidly diminished.
At this point, the twisted humanoid's body, enveloped by the light, seed unable to hold on any longer.
Large amounts of black ichor evaporated and dissolved. The already distorted form rapidly disintegrated. Countless faces fled in panic, but they were all touched by the phantom of a bow and vanished without a trace in an instant.
It was like a large black inkblot on a sheet of white paper rapidly disappearing, leaving only a tiny dot that abruptly drilled into the space between Yang An's eyebrows.
All the souls had been devoured by Bow Lady, the twisted humanoid's body had been dissolved by the light, and the black ichor that hadn't had ti to rge with it had evaporated completely a second before.
And at that very mont, a ssage box suddenly popped up before Yang An's eyes!
