But at that very mont, Yang An suddenly felt a heart-stopping dread. In an instant, a black shadow enveloped him, completely blocking the light that radiated from his body.
It even wrapped around the arm he had clamped on the man's neck.
At that mont, Yang An could feel the blood draining rapidly from his body, as if the black shadow covering him was siphoning it away. His flesh quickly began to wither.
But the black shadow didn't last long. After just a mont, it vanished from Yang An's body, and the light returned, illuminating the world once more.
The power of his Light Magic, especially when amplified by the pain in his organs, was simply irresistible to anything at such close range.
That was why Yang An wasn't panicked.
But now, the Qi Seal he had placed on the man had vanished, reappearing a thousand ters away.
Although he was still gripping a piece of vertebra, he could no longer feel any resistance.
The light around Yang An dissipated, revealing his current state. His once hale body now looked like that of a shriveled little old man.
His hair fell out in clumps, and his clothes lay in tatters on the ground. The skin all over his body was slack, withered, and dull. His once solid fra was reduced to skin and bones, looking as if he were at death's door.
Through his translucent skin, one could even see that his internal organs had been mangled into a chaotic mass. His Heart had shifted down into his abdon, but it was still beating powerfully.
But in the blink of an eye, Yang An's body began to regenerate, swiftly returning to its previous state. He was back to normal in an instant.
Without the suppression of Rules, as long as he wasn't instantly turned to dust and ashes, nothing could have any lasting effect on him. His regeneration would only be faster.
Yang An's gaze fell on the man a thousand ters away. He was naked, most of his flesh lted away, his guts spilling from his ruptured abdon.
After his previously bloated belly had burst open, the skin seed to have lost its elasticity, hanging loose and dragging on the ground.
Most of the flesh on his face had also vanished, leaving only his two eyeballs, which were fixed on Yang An.
His injuries were also recovering at a rapid pace. A red shadow flashed up from the ground, landing on him and swiftly wrapping around his body.
It was his bright red robe!
'Was that the thing that covered just now?'
A trace of doubt flashed through Yang An's mind. He knew a Zombie God wouldn't be so easy to kill, but he hadn't expected the man's robe to be so extraordinary. 'Perhaps it's so kind of Magical Artifact. To think it could actually withstand my light.'
"You lied to !"
The man was enveloped by the red garnt, the flesh on his face regenerating rapidly. His expression, however, was one of pure rage, all traces of his previous elegance completely gone.
By the ti his words faded, he too had fully recovered, leaving no trace of his injuries. Only his expression remained twisted and ferocious.
"A Forbidden Technique! The suppression of Rules! You're not a Corpse Transformation... you're a Zombie God too?!"
He was now more certain than ever that Yang An was a Zombie God, not a Corpse Transformation. The power Yang An had just displayed completely surpassed anything a Corpse Transformation was capable of.
'How could a Corpse Transformation possibly be this powerful!'
'He has to be a Zombie God!'
To be honest, hearing the man's furious accusations made Yang An feel quite pleased. He almost laughed out loud.
'To be acknowledged as a Zombie God by another Zombie God ans I really do have the strength to fight one.' The only real difference was that he hadn't fused with a Forbidden Artifact Fragnt or mastered the Power of Rules.
However, Yang An didn't respond with words. His answer was the Light and Shadow Escape Technique!
A flash of light flickered. Yang An's body instantly rged into the shadows and reappeared in front of the man.
In an instant, Yang An's entire body was engulfed in raging, dark red flas that soared into the sky. The surrounding plants were instantly ignited, and the area within a fifty-foot radius beca scorching hot, turning into a patch of charred earth.
Simply activating the Lighting Technique on its own consud a negligible amount of Mana. But what Yang An wanted was the fla's power to drive its victim into a crazed frenzy.
Previously, whenever he unleashed all of his techniques at once, the effects of the Lighting Technique were always overshadowed by the imnse destructive power of his Light Magic.
Before his enemies could be driven mad, they were already disintegrated by the light, their bodies and souls extinguished.
But that didn't an the Lighting Technique was useless.
The man's ntal state already seed highly unstable. This was the perfect ti to add fuel to the fire.
Wreathed in roaring flas, Yang An didn't advance. He simply stood about thirty feet from the man, watching him quietly.
Plus of black smoke began to rise from the man's body. The flesh of his face turned a fiery red, as if a fire had inexplicably ignited within him, and his entire body grew scalding hot.
He could easily endure this inner fire, but his gaze toward Yang An was now brimming with killing intent.
"You shouldn't have lied to ... You can't lie to !"
He shook his head as if he had suffered the greatest betrayal imaginable, his chest heaving violently.
"You're clearly a Zombie God too! How could you lie to !"
The bright red robe wrapped around him suddenly unfurled. In that instant, it seed to stretch and tear the man's flesh from within as it twisted his body around.
The man's head also twisted a full one hundred and eighty degrees to face Yang An, his expression utterly crazed.
