The man rushed behind Elder Life Crane in an instant. The steel blade coiled around his thick tail was as wide and heavy as half a door, and he swung it viciously at Elder Life Crane’s neck.
As if clearing the stage, the gale from the blade blew away the surrounding blood mist, instantly revealing a thirty-foot radius around the two of them.
But even as the powerful, heavy blade was about to fall upon Elder Life Crane’s neck, he made no move. Instead, He Tou abruptly turned its head, its eyes filled with a crazed killing intent.

Veins bulged all over the man’s body as his form suddenly swelled to twice its size, instantly expanding into a fleshy, mound-like giant.
He reached out with his massive hands, gripped the hilt of the blade, and with all his strength, swung down again.
But in the next mont, He Tou gave a sinister cackle and shot out like a black shadow.

The black shadow pierced straight through the wide, thick steel blade and, at a speed the man couldn’t react to, shot into his chest.
The man’s enormous body was sent flying backward, hurtling right in Yang An’s direction.
’Shit!’
Thankfully, Yang An reacted extrely quickly. Seeing the situation was bad, he imdiately dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding the man who was crashing toward him.
The man’s body hit the ground, instantly creating a large crater. The steel blade he was holding shattered into pieces, leaving only the hilt.
What was even more horrifying was the head-sized, bloody hole in his chest. The flesh and blood inside had vanished. Blood was gushing out, and in an instant, it had filled the crater, turning it into a small pool.
Yang An was quite relieved he had dodged in ti. If that guy had hit him, even if he didn’t die, he probably would have been half-dead.

On the other side, He Tou tilted its head back and swallowed a large chunk of flesh and blood. It then looked at the man in the bloody pool, still seemingly unsatisfied.

He Tou cackled, its face full of greed.
Yang An clearly hadn’t expected the creature to actually *eat* him. Watching from the side, his Scalp went numb.
But what surprised him even more was that, despite his seemingly severe injuries, the man in the bloody pool slowly stood up.

At the sa ti he stood up, the blood that had been gushing from his chest rapidly retracted back into his body, even pulling in so of the dirt and grass roots from the ground with it.
In the span of just two blinks, the bleeding from the hole in the man’s chest stopped. At the sa ti, the flesh at the wound’s edge began to squirm wildly, slowly regenerating.
The look in his eyes as he stared at Elder Life Crane, however, beca even more excited and fanatical.
"Master has given an order, and this disciple dares not disobey!"
CLATTER.
He tossed aside the Broken Blade in his hand, then thrust a hand violently into the still-healing, bloody hole in his chest.
"Fire, co!"
VWOOM!
A crimson fla instantly began to burn wildly within him, erupting into a sky-high wave of fire.
The man’s entire body was covered in flas, instantly incinerating all the blood mist within a dozen-ter radius and turning it into scorching steam.
He let out a maniacal laugh, the sound like thunder, and in an instant, he had fallen into a state of complete madness.
"Watch closely, Master! This is a new Dao of Destiny Technique your disciple has fused! If you underestimate , you will die! HAHAHAHA!"
’Fucking lunatic!’
A terrifying, scorching heat washed over Yang An, even causing his hair to curl. He was forced to retreat again until he was out of range, only then cursing inwardly.
But the Lighting Technique this man was displaying also left him in awe.
The flas engulfing his body soared dozens of feet high. The man was like a Fla Demon God, letting out hoarse, crazed laughter.

The nine fire dragons roared, looking as if they would tear Elder Life Crane to shreds with a single bite before incinerating him to ash.
But just then, facing the nacing approach of the man, He Tou revealed a look of disdain.
It opened its long beak and took a sharp breath.
In the next mont, a powerful suction force completely pulled all the flas from the man’s body. The nine dragons instantly crumbled, and He Tou swallowed them whole.
"My good eldest disciple! Go back and practice for a few more years! Your master isn’t so easy to kill!"
Without He Tou making any other visible move, the man was once again sent flying backward, landing on the ground with a THUD.
But compared to last ti, this was far more brutal.
Half of his upper body had exploded into a bloody mist, which was then completely sucked into He Tou’s stomach, leaving not a trace behind.
Elder Life Crane remained completely unhard. He Tou let out a burp, gave a sinister smile, and ignored the man further.
Yang An, watching from the side, was completely dumbfounded.
In his eyes, this senior brother’s power was simply staggering, yet he still couldn’t even last a single round against He Tou.

He glanced at the man on the ground, who was now unable to get up. He was in a truly miserable state, unable to rise, struggling and letting out pained wails. In an instant, he was a man drenched in blood.

There were five people in total, four n and one woman. They were clearly disciples of Elder Life Crane, which made them Yang An’s senior brothers and sister.

He said with a smile, his attitude a world apart from how he had treated the previous man. He looked as if he was just about to personally help his disciples up.
