The Tree House was five stories tall. Pan Yu was on the third floor, in a Quiet Chamber, attempting her breakthrough in seclusion.
When Yang An followed Pan Shi to the third floor, the door to the Quiet Chamber was already open. Can ng Daoist stood there, her face etched with worry.
Inside the Quiet Chamber, Pan Yu sat cross-legged on the floor with her eyes closed. Her head slumped against her chest, and her hands hung limply at her sides.
Worried, Pan Shi imdiately tried to enter the Quiet Chamber, but Can ng Daoist stopped him with a raised hand.
"Don’t co in!"
"Martial Aunt, what is her condition?"
Blocked outside the Quiet Chamber, unable to do anything but watch, Pan Shi asked anxiously.
"The Micro Dream Scripture is very unique. The breakthrough from the Resonance Stage to the Fake Food Realm must be completed within three hours, but six hours have already passed!
She’s still trapped in an illusion, unable to wake up, and the price of entering the dream is beginning to spread.
If you co in, you’ll likely be pulled into the illusion with her!"
At this, a look of regret crossed Can ng Daoist’s face.
"If I had known this would happen, I would have stayed by her side the entire ti."
Hearing Can ng Daoist’s explanation, Pan Shi grew tense.
Being unable to escape the illusion ant that his junior sister might be trapped in it forever, unable to break free.
If this continued, not only would her breakthrough fail, but she might never wake up—or even suffer other, more terrible consequences.
’His junior sister had perfectly adapted to the Resonance Stage. How could sothing go wrong during her breakthrough to the Fake Food Realm?’
Pan Shi couldn’t figure it out, but this wasn’t the ti to dwell on it. He looked worriedly at Can ng Daoist.
"Martial Aunt, is there any way you can wake her?"
Both Pan Yu and Can ng Daoist cultivated the sa Cultivation Technique, so Pan Shi could only pin his hopes on Can ng Daoist being able to rescue Pan Yu from the illusion.
But seeing that Can ng Daoist’s expression was just as grim as his own, Pan Shi’s heart sank even further.
"Yu’Er and I both cultivate the Micro Dream Scripture, but when practicing this technique, the illusions each person encounters are different.
I can only go in first and try!"
With that, Can ng Daoist told Pan Shi to guard the entrance to the Quiet Chamber and not let anyone disturb her.
Pan Shi agreed at once and quickly led Yang An a short distance away.
Yang An heard their conversation but remained silent, not wanting to interrupt. He simply watched from the side.
He knew that the illusion Pan Yu was experiencing was actually a modern, tropolitan society—a world completely different from this one.
Compared to the dangers and strangeness of this world, that place was indeed an easy one to get lost in.
If he had to choose between the two worlds, Yang An would choose the modern one without hesitation.
But what Pan Yu was trapped in was, after all, just an illusion. It wasn’t real.
Just then, Wen Yin ca up by herself and stood silently beside Yang An, not saying a word.
’Amazing,’ Yang An thought to himself. ’My senior sister actually didn’t get lost.’
He snarked internally but paid her no mind.
The three of them stood waiting quietly outside the Quiet Chamber.
Inside the Quiet Chamber, Can ng Daoist cautiously approached the illusion-trapped Pan Yu and gently sat down behind her.
She reached out and lightly touched the back of Pan Yu’s neck, then slowly closed her eyes.
She was clearly attempting to enter Pan Yu’s illusion.
But only a few breaths passed before Can ng Daoist’s eyes snapped open. She imdiately stood up and took several steps back, her expression grave.
"What is it, Martial Aunt?!"
Seeing Can ng Daoist’s reaction, Pan Shi asked quickly.
But in the face of Pan Shi’s hopeful gaze, Can ng Daoist simply shook her head.
"It won’t work!"
"The illusion I’m in is not the sa as Yu’Er’s. If I force my way in, it will only cause our prices to overlap.
My level of imrsion in the illusion is much deeper; I would shatter hers completely.
If that happens, she’ll never be able to wake up!"
"What? Then what do we do?"
Hearing Can ng Daoist’s words, Pan Shi’s face filled with despair, and he was completely at a loss.
On all of Sansong Mountain, only Can ng Daoist and Pan Yu cultivated this technique. If even his Martial Aunt was helpless, didn’t that an...
He didn’t dare to think any further.
Unless they could find soone else who cultivated the Micro Dream Scripture and whose level of imrsion was similar to his junior sister’s.
But that was a complete fantasy. How could they possibly find soone like that?
"There is one other way!"
Just as Pan Shi was despairing, an idea suddenly struck Can ng Daoist.
Her words imdiately drew the eyes of Pan Shi and the others, like a piece of driftwood floating before a drowning man.
"Martial Aunt, what is it?"
Pan Shi asked at once.
Can ng Daoist suddenly looked at Pan Shi.
"I can’t enter Yu’Er’s illusion, but you can!"
"I can?"
Pan Shi was stunned.
"But didn’t you say only those who cultivate the Micro Dream Scripture can move within the illusion?"
"That’s true, but I can use my Mana to protect your Spiritual Wisdom, allowing you to forcibly rge with the illusion and remain unaffected for a short ti.
As long as you can find Yu’Er, you can save her and bring her out of the illusion!"
Can ng Daoist explained.
"Then can’t we ask Master to enter her illusion? If he goes in, wouldn’t there be a greater chance of success?"
Pan Shi said. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to go; his own Cultivation Level was only at the Fake Food Realm, and he wasn’t confident.
’What if I encounter so danger in the illusion and fail to protect her? Things would only get worse.’
"No! Junior Brother at Tree’s Cultivation Level is too high. It’s very likely he would cause problems with Yu’Er’s illusion. You’re the only one who can go!"
Can ng Daoist rejected Pan Shi’s proposal without a second thought.
Looking at the unresponsive, sleeping Pan Yu, Pan Shi finally gritted his teeth.
"Alright! Then please help , Martial Aunt. I’ll go bring my junior sister back!"
"I must warn you beforehand: once you fully enter the illusion, you won’t be able to use your Mana. You’ll be no different from an ordinary person.
If it proves impossible, I will pull you out imdiately!"
Can ng Daoist warned Pan Shi with extre seriousness.
Pan Shi was incredibly nervous, but he still nodded solemnly.
Following Can ng Daoist’s instructions, he slowly entered the Quiet Chamber, walked over to Pan Yu, and sat down behind her.
The next mont, seeing he was ready, Can ng Daoist reached out a finger and precisely touched the back of his neck.
Instantly, Pan Shi’s pupils dilated, and his body went limp, about to collapse to the floor.
Can ng Daoist caught him just in ti, gently lowering him to the ground. Then, with a grave expression, she stood guard beside him.
Outside the Quiet Chamber, Yang An watched this unfold in silence and settled in to wait.
Ti ticked by. About the ti it takes for an incense stick to burn passed.
Suddenly, Pan Shi, who was lying on the floor, began to tremble violently. His body started to curl up uncontrollably.
Can ng Daoist’s expression changed. Clearly prepared for this, she reached down, scooped Pan Shi up from the floor, and tapped a finger between his eyebrows.
GASP—
Like a drowning man finally getting a breath of air, Pan Shi took a sharp gasp and his eyes flew open.
He looked around blankly, a flash of panic in his eyes, as if he still hadn’t processed what had happened. His chest heaved violently.
It was only when he saw Can ng Daoist and Yang An that he gradually ca to his senses, his face a mask of dejection.
"Martial Aunt... I couldn’t find her..."
"I couldn’t find my junior sister anywhere!"
