Tears of pain were still welling in the corners of her eyes, yet Pan Yu’s face suddenly broke into a look of delighted surprise, creating a very strange expression.
At the sa ti, she finally processed what was happening.
The next mont, before Yang An could say another word, Pan Yu leaped up from the sofa and threw herself into his arms, bursting into loud sobs.

Fortunately, he quickly realized Pan Yu ant no harm and that this wasn’t the work of so evil entity. It was likely just her reaction to being rescued after being trapped in the Illusion Realm for so long. Only then did he manage to stop his attack, just in the nick of ti.
Innurable White Feathers froze in place behind Pan Yu, re inches from piercing her body.
"Stop your damn crying! Hurry up and get us out of this Illusion Realm! If this keeps up, you’re going to bleed out!"
Yang An pushed Pan Yu away from him, retracting the White Feathers as he yelled at her.
’He was genuinely afraid that if they delayed too long, so new complication would arise. He was also worried Pan Yu would die here in the Illusion Realm.’
’If she didn’t die from the Illusion Realm but instead bled to death because he’d cut off her hands, wouldn’t this whole trip have been for nothing?’
After a good cry to vent her emotions, Pan Yu finally ca to her senses completely. She understood this was no ti for idle chatter.
She quickly wiped away her tears and closed her eyes.
Two seconds later, their surroundings began to tremble violently, as if the entire building was about to collapse.
Yang An watched his surroundings nervously. Though he knew this ant they were about to escape the Illusion Realm, he remained on high alert, just in case.
In the next instant, the two of them vanished.
Once they had completely disappeared, the tremors ceased abruptly. Everything seed to return to a state of calm.
In the dead of night, the old residential complex looked as if nothing had ever happened. Even the things Yang An had destroyed were restored in the blink of an eye.
An unknown amount of ti passed. Then, from a room on the Fifth Floor, the sound of a man’s sobbing suddenly echoed through the dark hallway.
"Boss! Boss, help ! Call the police! Hurry and send soone to get !"
"I’m done! I’m done with this test! I don’t even want the money... It’s too damn scary! This house is really haunted! A ghost was just knocking on my door! And a woman was crying..."
"Please, just hurry and co get !"

When Yang An opened his eyes again, he was back in the Quiet Chamber on Sansong Mountain. The first thing he did was look at Pan Yu, who was in front of him.
Pan Yu had already woken up before him. Her face was contorted in pain, her complexion pale.
Both of her hands had been severed at the wrists, but the wounds were slowly healing. Countless tendrils of flesh squird wildly, fusing together to reconnect her arms.
Apparently, while the two of them were still in the Illusion Realm, soone in the real world had already given Pan Yu a healing Elixir.
At this ti, Can ng Daoist and Pan Shi were fussing over her, asking about her condition with great concern.
Seeing that Pan Yu was out of mortal danger, Yang An breathed a sigh of relief and stood up.
When Pan Shi saw that Yang An had also awakened, he imdiately walked over, a look of delight on his face. He began by giving Yang An a deep bow.

Wen Yin had been waiting quietly for him outside the Quiet Chamber the entire ti. Without saying a word, she accompanied him as they quickly returned to the lower floor of the Tree House.
Once they were back downstairs, Yang An downed a cup of tea and finally let out a long breath. The whole trip into the Illusion Realm had been a close call, but ultimately successful. And it had even co with an unexpected reward.
