Su Mo smiled, "Quite a few."
Shen Xing’s eyes brightened slightly.
"Then can you tell so of your stories?"
Yang Qingxi looked surprised. "You’re interested?"
Shen Xing nodded honestly.
"For certain reasons, I was never allowed to leave the sect for long periods."
"At most, I’ve visited nearby towns."
As she spoke, a trace of helplessness appeared on her face.
Obviously, there was another story behind that statent.
However, neither Su Mo nor Yang Qingxi asked. Everyone had their own circumstances.
Since Yang Qingxi didn’t have many stories to share, all eyes naturally landed on Su Mo.
Su Mo imdiately sat up straighter. A confident smile appeared on his face.
"Then let tell you about so of my experiences."
Shen Xing imdiately listened attentively.
"You may not know this, but I am actually a genius cultivator."
"The only reason I’m not famous is that my enemies aren’t alive to spread my heroic tales."
Yang Qingxi lowered her head.
She suddenly beca more interested in the tea than in listening to his nonsense.
Shen Xing, however, was stunned.
"Genius?"
Her gaze beca suspicious.
"What cultivation level are you?"
Su Mo smiled mysteriously.
Then spoke two simple words.
"Golden Core."
At the sa ti, he released a tiny portion of his aura.
Instantly, Shen Xing’s expression changed.
The pressure she felt was identical to the pressure her father occasionally emitted.
There was no doubt.
This man was truly a Golden Core cultivator.
Moreover, he was incredibly young.
Her entire posture imdiately beca more respectful.
"I apologize."
"There is no need."
Su Mo waved his hand generously.
"We are friends."
anwhile, Shen Xing’s gaze involuntarily shifted toward Yang Qingxi.
"Then you..."
Yang Qingxi shook her head.
"I’m only Foundation Building."
"Only?"
Shen Xing almost choked.
She had always been praised as a genius since childhood.
Today, however, she suddenly realized what real monsters looked like.
One Golden Core.
One Foundation Building.
Both younger than her.
The blow was surprisingly effective on her self-esteem.
Seeing her expression beco depressed, Su Mo imdiately comforted her.
"Don’t think too much, Miss Shen."
"You’ve spent most of your life inside the sect."
"When you travel more and experience the world, you’ll naturally beco stronger."
Shen Xing listened carefully.
anwhile, Yang Qingxi silently looked at Su Mo.
She already knew what was coming.
Sure enough, Su Mo sighed deeply. His expression beca profound.
"Nurous life-and-death battles have honed to where I am today."
Yang Qingxi nearly laughed.
Life-and-death battles?
Was he talking about ranked matches? Or the ti he spent arguing with children in online gas?
Unfortunately, Shen Xing didn’t know any of this.
Her admiration increased imdiately.
A genius younger than her.
A Golden Core cultivator.
Soone who had risked his life countless tis.
Compared to him, she felt sowhat ashad.
She had cultivated under the protection of elders while enjoying sect resources.
What excuse did she have?
Perhaps she really hadn’t worked hard enough.
Thinking this, Shen Xing’s expression beca determined.
"Mr. Su."
"Hm?"
"You are right."
Her eyes shone with expectation.
"Please tell about your grand adventures and enlighten ."
Yang Qingxi imdiately turned toward Su Mo.
She wanted to hear this, too.
More specifically, she wanted to see how he planned to continue making things up.
Su Mo rubbed his chin thoughtfully. Then a brilliant idea appeared.
A mysterious smile spread across his face.
"Well..."
"Where should I begin?"
Looking at his expression, Yang Qingxi suddenly had a feeling.
Su Mo smiling like that ant he was ready to boast, and soone was about to hear the most outrageous story of their life.
Unfortunately for Shen Xing... she was still waiting eagerly.
---
Once Su Mo got started, it beca increasingly difficult for him to stop.
At first, Shen Xing had simply been curious.
Now, however, she was completely captivated.
"Back then, I encountered a group of evil cultivators who used ordinary people as cultivation resources," Su Mo said while holding his teacup with a profound expression.
"Naturally, as a righteous cultivator, I couldn’t tolerate such evil acts. Thus, after three days and three nights of battle, I finally defeated them."
Shen Xing’s eyes widened.
"Three days and three nights? Such massive stamina."
Su Mo nodded solemnly.
"Not only that, once I encountered the leader of the undead."
"The leader of the undead?!"
"Indeed."
Su Mo sighed.
"His army stretched beyond the horizon. Skeleton soldiers, undead knights, ghost dragons. The sky itself darkened beneath their advance."
Yang Qingxi lowered her head and quietly drank her tea.
She was afraid that if she looked at him directly, she would laugh.
Unfortunately, Shen Xing remained completely invested.
"What happened then?"
"Then?"
Su Mo smiled.
"Then I defeated him."
Shen Xing imdiately nodded.
That made sense.
After all, Mr Su was standing here alive.
Naturally, he must have won.
Seeing she had accepted it so easily, Su Mo beca even more enthusiastic.
After defeating the undead leader, he moved on to describing a mad scientist who created terrifying monsters through experints.
Then ca a mysterious village. The tomb-robbing expedition. A conspiracy stretching back hundreds of years.
One story naturally led into another.
The more he talked, the more excited he beca.
At so point, even his hand gestures beca increasingly exaggerated.
"I once fought alongside intelligent beasts who looked exactly like humans."
"Then I defeated a dragon."
"Afterward, I dove into the depths of the sea, riding on the back of a Kraken."
Shen Xing listened without blinking.
"Then what?"
"I rode dinosaurs."
"..."
"I swam with rmaids."
"..."
"I played golf with elves."
"..."
"I helped dwarves build giant chanical puppets."
"..."
"I played tennis with trolls."
Shen Xing’s mouth slowly opened. The stories sounded increasingly absurd.
Yet sohow, Su Mo’s serious expression made everything sound believable.
At least to her.
anwhile, Yang Qingxi’s lips twitched repeatedly.
At first, she intended to let him have fun. Now she was beginning to worry.
If he continued, Shen Xing might actually believe every word.
Finally, she couldn’t endure it any longer.
