Jia’s gaze was fixated at the small prescription paper. Her mind felt like a jumbled ss but she refused to budge in the end. She extended her arm and took the prescription paper in her hand. The paper gently swayed.
Instead of accepting it, she tore the paper right in front of his eyes and stood upright, facing him with a steadfast expression.
"I am not depressed. I don’t need any dicine. Thank you for your concern but I don’t need it. I am just stressed out because of the case and nothing else...!" She breathed out shakily.
Mingshen arched his brow. "You don’t know what you are doing which is why I feel it’s my responsibility to tell you," he gave a light smile. "You will co back. I know. And I am not aning to give any pointless challenge. Your mind is breaking down and soon, it will reach its breaking point."
Jia trembled.

Jia shot him a deadly glare and she was in no mood to entertain anymore of his baseless nonsense. She threw away the torn pieces of paper and opened the door in a wide swing. She wanted to storm out but bumped into Yang Bingqing, who almost got a shock with the sudden crash.
"Oh my, it’s my future daughter-in-law!"
Her eyes shone like a child who got a candy but that excitent died soon enough when she saw Jia’s vulnerable state.
"Jia dear, what’s wrong?" Her eyes widened. "Your expression doesn’t look so good...who bullied you?" She narrowed her eyes.
She then glared at Mingshen. "What did you do!?"
"Trying to open her eyes. Unfortunately, she is stubborn to keep them shut."
Jia bit her lip and felt too blank to respond. Usually she would have casually chatted with Yang Bingqing but not now.
"I-I am sorry, Mrs. Yang...I am in a hurry. A case...Gotta go."
Jia lowered her head and walked away with swift and large strides.
"Jia dear, wait! You are definitely not-"
"Let her go, Mom," Mingshen said.
Yang Bingqing’s cold gaze resembled to that of a demoness’s. "You don’t want to live anymore, do you? You dare make my Jia cry?"
"She is making herself cry," he bent and picked up the pieces of paper.
"What is wrong with her? Why was she crying? Did you finally cross your limits of rudeness and shalessness!"
Mingshen threw her a dry look. "Go and have sex with Dad."
"..."
"You insolent son!"
Mingshen knew that she wouldn’t have let this go, so he gave her a brief gist. Bingqing’s blazing gaze turned more and more solemn.
"Jia..."
"She doesn’t need sympathy. She needs treatnt, help and every type of support she can get. Apparently, she thinks of herself as so impenetrable soldier who can never get wounded on a battlefield."
She glanced up and read his gaze like any mother would. "You seem to be very frustrated."
He smiled. "It’s always the case when patients don’t act like patients. Even more when they don’t realize that they are a patient in the first place. Ask dad about you."
"What did I do?" She frowned.
"You were never exactly a cooperative patient."
"That’s ridiculous. Did he forget the tis we acted doctor-patient in the bedroom? I played my part very well you know."
"Go have sex, you horny woman."
"Right now, I can only think of Jia!"
"You want to have sex with Spicy? You are not straight anymore?"
Her clenched fist trembled. "Don’t make disown my only son."
Yang Bingqing breathed out and a mont later, glowed with an idea. "I know! Jia’s situation will only worsen if she lives in that house. The mories surround her everywhere! That’s why she should co and live at the Yang villa!" She clapped her hands in delight.
"No."
She glared at him. "I don’t need your permission!"
"But you need Spicy’s permission and she won’t agree. She won’t do anything that proves she is ill. Plus, changing her house address will not solve the root of the problem."
"It will give her breathing space."
"Apparently, she is not much in favor of breathing that much," he grimaced.
"Then will we just stand around and do nothing? I won’t let my Jia suffer!"
"She should also have that feeling, Mom. I am not giving up anyway so chill. Why are you here? Your hyper self is very distracting."
"Shut up! I ca here to ask that why is Bai Yingtai still in arrest? He should already be back to the lab."
"I think you missed the mo where I said that that Hou guy is in the hospital."
"Ugh, the Hou family," Yang Bingqing knitted her brows. "Causing so much ruckus over their son who’s clearly alright. I have been getting countless calls from that dreaded family! They sohow think that the Yang family is answerable to them."
She scrunched up her brows. "I don’t know how. Clearly, it was just a minor bump on his head."
"The minor bump landed him in a hospital."
She shrugged. "My gentle giant Yingtai would never hurt anybody needlessly. Clearly that Hou guy provoked him and now his family is trying to dance on top of our heads, hmph. Whatever, you deal with it. If I get one more call from his damn mother, then I am gonna run a bulldozer through her house."
Yang Bingqing gave a harmless smile. "Make sure she understands that."
"You go and make her understand. I am busy."
She blinked. "Didn’t you just say to go and have sex with my husband? I will do just that. Who then remains to do the job?"
Mingshen’s gaze darkened. "No thanks."
She smiled and patted his head. "You don’t get a choice in this matter, dear. So go get Yingtai out and deal with the ss. Now if you will excuse , I have so seducing to do~"
