"Please, we need only one ti to go inside and et Yong. It’s very important," Jia pleaded at the entrance. "We have a very important case to work on."
The female guard-co-attendant sneered. "Yeah it’s always an important case for you cops. That’s how you always fool us and get us into trouble."
"No, Yong won’t be in trouble-"
"Word is that you saw her in so gathering which she is not supposed to be at so you are already labeling her as a criminal."
"That’s not true. We only need Yong to answer so questions, that’s all."
She smiled. "That’s what they had said years ago when Nuwa didn’t co back."
"Nuwa?"
"One of ours who never returned after servicing so rich client. The police had found her but said they needed her for so important interrogation. I wonder if Nuwa didn’t return from her client’s place or the bureau you apparently uphold your justice at," she sneered. "So pardon us if we don’t trust you."
She was about to leave when Jia held her arm back. "But what happened to Nuwa after the questioning? What did the cops say?"
She stared at her with a frosty gaze and shook her arm off with force. "Oh my, you don’t know? Aren’t all officers a cute gang to share all the secrets? I am sure they will tell you if you just ask."
She shifted her focus to Mingshen and sneered. "The Mafia King’s visit is done and dusted so the underworld doesn’t have a need to co back to Huayuan either, Dr. Yang. So get out. Both of you."
She loudly shut Huayuan’s gate on their faces, making Jia press her lips. She turned in defeat and looked at Mingshen.
Mingshen raised his brow. "I don’t think she liked us that much."
"You still think at this point?"
He shrugged. "It was to be expected. They are always hostile to the cops and underworld. Aish, it breaks my heart to see them so against the underworld. We are not so bad."
Her brow twitched.
"This is not working at all," Jia pressed her temple. "We need another way to get to Yong."
"Which we do~"
"We do?" She was taken aback, surprised.
He smirked and took out his phone. He typed sothing on it and then waited.
"Spicy, spicy."
"Yes?"
"If I am able to get us into Huayuan then would you think that I am trustworthy and reliable?" He sheepishly grinned.
She blinked at his odd question. "I an...I never thought that you are not reliable and trustworthy."
He blinked once and suddenly bead brightly.
"W-what?"
He almost crashed against her body with his huge leap of a step towards her.
"Why did you get so close?" She suspiciously asked. Then rembering sothing, she gasped and quickly covered her lips.
"Do you trust ?" he asked with a sparkling gaze.
Jia blinked in confusion.
"You are a troublemaker and a hooligan."

"You tend to make things difficult for during cases, especially when you talk to people and raise their blood pressure."

"But..."
She recalled the ti Mingshen arrived at Zhang Luqi’s house, taking care of the goons she clashed with.
"You are dependable at tis too."
Mingshen stared at her and eagerly asked, "So you can tell all kinds of stuff since I am so dependable, right?"
"What kinds of stuff?"
"Handso brother!!!"
They turned to look and Jia’s eyes widened seeing a small figure half popping out of the gate.
Danya giggled and ran to their side and imdiately hugged Mingshen’s legs. "Handso brother, you are here! And the cool pretty sister too!"
Jia looked at Mingshen in shock. "You knew how to contact her?"
He said with his nose elongating in pride. "It’s very useful to have a handso face and a kid who likes to admire that handso face."

Jia bent on her knees and hugged her in delight. "It’s so nice to see you again, Danya! How are you doing?"
She pouted. "Buried in howork. Nobody helps even when I show a cute face."
She chuckled. "Glad to see you doing alright. It’s so nice to et you after a long ti!"
"It’s not long for , pretty sis. I saw you last ti when you ca here," she chirped. "You were asking about sis Yong, right?"
"Ah yes..." she awkwardly scratched her chin.
Danya looked up at Mingshen and bead. "Handso brother, you are still as handso as ever!"
"My handsoness doesn’t have an expiry date~"
She giggled and then said, "I know why handso brother called out. You want to co to Huayuan, right? Everybody knows inside."
Jia hopefully asked, "Can you convince soone to get us in?"
"No."
Mingshen - "..."

"Why not?" He scrunched his brows. "Didn’t the pretty sister here help you with those bad goons that day?"
She chirped. "Handso brother, the leader says that we have suffered at the hands of cops more than we are in their debt for us to be giving you favors."
"..."
"I want you to co inside and play with but the leader won’t like that," she pouted.
He smiled. "You can talk to the leader, right? I am sure he or she has all the love for you in their hearts."

"The leader won’t listen to , handso brother. So sorry, I cannot help you," she clapped her hands once in delight, "But I rember the beautiful brother helping too! He was so cool when he fought those bad guys. You should co with him to et soti. We all will have fun!"
"...So you cannot get us in?"
"No," she replied rrily at his crashing expression.
Imaginarily, Mingshen fell on his hands and knees.
You little trickster, you fooled with hopes!
Danya patted his back. "There, there. Don’t worry. I will still try my best to talk to the leader."
Jia smiled. "It’s okay even if you cannot. I don’t want anybody to scold you over us."
"Pretty sister, your heart is very pretty too!"
She happily waved her arm in a goodbye and hopped back in.
Jia got up on her feet and dusted her hands. "Let’s go. We will find so other way to find Yong. For now, let’s talk to Zexi- Mingshen? Are you alright?"
He stood up like a zombie and murmured. "There I lost all my trustworthy and reliability brownie points...Thanks for embarrassing , little kid!"
Jia gave him a dry stare.
