Mingshen walked faster while Xie Mulan tried to keep up with his pace.
"We are on this trip together. Might as well get used to my company."
"I am already used to Spicy’s company," his eyes narrowed. "So thanks for the offer but no thanks."
"But she is not here," she smiled.
"So I will keep on moping. And that reminds !"
Mingshen’s mood took a one-eighty degree turn as he rrily took out his phone.
"I reached London Spicy! Did you miss ?"
Mingshen frowned when he didn’t get a response and typed a flurry of ssages over and over again, which eventually earned him a response.
’It’s 1 in the morning here, Mingshen.’
Mingshen checked his ti which was 5 PM in London.
Oops...I forgot the ti difference, his lips made a small O.
Mingshen’s heart sank.
That ans I won’t be able to chat with her because she will be sleeping? What am I supposed to do with my free ti then!
The elevator rang with a ding and Mingshen practically dragged his feet till his room.
"Where will we be having dinner?"
Mingshen turned and frowned. "Dinner?"
Mulan grimaced. "You are not going to sleep on an empty stomach now, are you?"
"I will just eat sothing in the hotel here."
"So you will be leaving alone?"
"I am sorry, did I co here with a kid?" Mingshen looked around, ’confused’.
She smiled. "You better accompany if you don’t want a ssage from your father."
He threw her a dry look.
"So you will be a tattle-tale. Also, I don’t care."
He got another ssage from Jia.
’Do send a picture of Big Ben whenever you are free.’
"What do you want to have for dinner?" Mingshen imdiately asked.
"...I feel that change in attitude is not because of Uncle."
"Obviously, it is because of Spicy. She wants to see a picture of Big Ben. So dinner is where Big Ben is."
She stared at him unblinkingly. "You are really crazy for her, aren’t you?"
He frowned. "I am not crazy for her."
"You do realize that your words and actions don’t match at all, don’t you?"
He smiled. "Do you want to accompany or should I go alone?"

Jia yawned and put her phone back on the bedside table when it buzzed again. Her eyes widened with a video call.
Oh gosh why is he video calling ?
Jia hastily adjusted her pajamas and wrapped herself in the blanket. Picking the call, she scowled. "This is not a ti to be video calling when I am sleeping and hardly in a presentable attire."
"Spicy!"
She almost threw her head back, her ears buzzing with his excited, zesty voice.
"It’s hardly ten hours since you left Mingshen, not ten years...Also, it’s two in the morning here."
"But I thought you would enjoy a certain view no matter the ti~" his face shone brightly.
He turned the phone’s cara and Jia slightly squinted her eyes in return. A gasp escaped her lips watching the scene of a live Big Ben.
"Big Ben!" Her expression shone as she looked closely. "It’s so beautiful..."
"You really like Big Ben so much?"
"I have watched a lot of Sherlock Hols so I just love London in general."
"Then why didn’t you co with ! Wasn’t it the perfect chance?" He said, aggrieved.
"...I an it’s your trip. I couldn’t just co out of nowhere."
Also, it would have been super-expensive, she sweated.
"What do you an nowhere?" He raised his brow. "We are together everywhere, aren’t we?"
She slightly choked.
"Also, if it had been your award ceremony, then I would have barged in for sure. I don’t need your permission. That’s why you hurt , Spicy. You don’t care about enough to attend the ceremony. You should have been here clapping for ," he heavily frowned.
She coughed next.
"I just...I an how should I..." she quickly cleared her throat. "I might not be there physically but Aunt Bingqing said that dia houses will be covering it so I will definitely watch it in the news."
"Will you be clapping for ?" he probed.
"You have won an award, Mingshen. Obviously I will clap for you."
"Will it be so loud that I will be able to hear it till London?"
"You should live in reality, Mingshen."
She then blinked, realizing sothing.
"Wait, are you alone? What about Miss. Xie?"
"Thank you for rembering , Miss. Song. At least sobody does."
Mulan’s voice echoed from the side.
"You are coming in the view," Mingshen was dissatisfied.
"Because I want to see her. Obviously, I will be in the view."
She smiled at Jia. "Hello, Miss. Song."
Jia straightened up. "Hello, Miss. Xie."
"I can see such close friendship between you two. You just ntioned Big Ben and he imdiately changed his lazy dinner plans."
She choked.
"Mi-Mingshen! It wasn’t an imdiate request. I said "whenever you get the ti.""
"But I did have ti," he pouted. "I was just going to crash in my room anyway."
"So you should have. It was a long flight," she anxiously said.
"How could I when you wanted to see Big Ben?"
Like I said, it wasn’t an imdiate request! Her face burned with embarrassnt.
"Did you at least have dinner...?" She asked with a sigh.
Mulan smiled. "Straight to the Big Ben. Dinner could wait naturally."
"..."
Jia took a deep breath. "I am hanging up, Mingshen. Go and have dinner first!"
"But you haven’t clearly seen Big Ben to your heart’s content!"
"I can see it later! Just click a lot of pictures."
"But I want to give you the live view-"
"I am hanging up."
"Spicy! Spicy! Don’t hang-"
Mingshen dangerously narrowed his eyes. "Next ti, I want so privacy during my calls or we are our own ways."
"Oof so passionate," she chuckled. "I just felt like talking to her too."
"Don’t you hog my ti with Spicy. And you are paying for your own food!" He exclaid, leaving her space.
She rolled her eyes, walking behind him while tapping swiftly on her phone. "I was going to anyway."
