Yun stared at him, apparently beginning to get the link.

"Now you might question why would sobody do that? The simple answer is that he or she doesn’t like that person. The more difficult answer is sobody does so irritating things that sobody else doesn’t like. It makes them angry so they hurt the other person."

Yun thoughtfully said after a pause, "Like KaiKai pushed Mao in class? Mao was hurt!"

Mingshen brightened. "Smart boy indeed. Mao got hurt because Kai didn’t like him and so he pushed him. Your grandma is dead because your Mama and Dada got mad like Kai and so they made her dead. Your teacher must have punished Kai because he was being a bad boy."

"Yes."

"Similarly, your Mama and Dada are getting punished because they acted like Kai. But you need to understand the difference here," He raised his brow.

"Your friend got hurt, but he is still living. He is still breathing. So Kai will just get so scolding and extra howork probably. But what did I say about dying? You are gone forever once you die. That is bigger than getting a little hurt. Small wounds can heal but a stopped body cannot.

This ans that killing sobody - making sobody die, is the biggest mistake sobody can make because that person can never co back. So when sobody does that, the rules, the law punishes them in proportion to that. Your Mama Dada will be punished for many years in a place called jail. That’s why, they cannot co to et you and you cannot go to see them."

Yun trembled as his eyes teared up. "Mama Dada...bad like KaiKai?"

"Your father is definitely bad because he ignored your mother. Your Grandma was even worse. But your mother isn’t bad. On the contrary, she is quite smart."

Mrs. Shen anxiously took a step forward, but Mingshen threw a cold stare towards her. "What did I say about not interfering?"

"I don’t know who you are but the things you are saying to a child...you will make it more emotionally traumatic for him!"

"Traumatic?" Mingshen scoffed in disdain. "I am telling him the reality, which technically should have been your job," he pointed his finger at her.

She softly gasped. "Yun is only six. He is too young-"

"Save that bullshit. You are not protecting his mind by talking in circles. You are damaging it instead," he sneered.

"He is asking you questions, and you are not giving any answers. Do you know how it feels to not get any answers and being treated like an idiot? Children are not stupid. They are far more resilient and perceptive, at tis even more than adults. They can understand concepts like death and cri. They like honesty. You don’t have to run away from that conversation. You should know how to explain it and for Devil’s sake, don’t say that your grandma has beco a star in the sky."

"..."

Huojin choked.

"Now listen up and listen very carefully because your limited brain cells are not seeing this situation in a complete sense. So ti for so pep talk and I am going to charge for this," he pointed his squinted gaze at the social workers.

"You aren’t helping the kid when you say that his parents will be back after so ti. When is that so ti? How long is that so ti? They don’t have a freaking clue and they keep waiting and waiting. Don’t ignite a fire that you cannot put out. If you cannot give all the answers, then don’t bother talking in the first place.

The other parents at school will eventually know what happened with Yun’s parents. Then his classmates will know. So of those brats might start bullying him because why not? He has nobody to protect him anymore. So he becos the target and the irony is that only Yun wouldn’t know in the whole wide world why he beca the target because tadah! Nobody told him what happened with his parents.

So when the other kids will taunt him that his Mama Dada are bad people, he won’t understand that context. Because for him, they are just supposed to be out sowhere for soti but essentially, they are still good people. A picture that you painted. He is not told beforehand of the mistakes that his parents have made. He will get that information in the most crude way possible, outside of a safe environnt. THAT is more damaging to a child."

Mrs. Shen and her assistant parted and closed their lips, stumped but also seemingly agreeing to his argunt.

Mingshen snorted. "You cannot just keep showing him toys to play with. You need to tell him the truth, of course with a little tact. That is assud here. You need to tell him that life will get difficult. Things can get ssy at school. Students can target him because it is easy to shut him up.

They will drag him down because of his parents, but he needs to know that his parents’ mistakes don’t make him a criminal as well. He has no reason to bend to their will. So if sobody bullies him, he should punch them back. Twice the force~"

Mrs. Shen grimaced. "We cannot teach a child to act violent."

"Not violent. Self-defensive. There is a difference. But you get the point, which is not just telling him the answers he needs but also preparing him for what is to co. You cannot shelter him so much that he becos crippled. Learning the truth from the outside world who don’t give a fuck about you is more damaging than anything. That’s how kids end up in depression, get all that pent up frustration, do drugs, beco violent and bla bla. They turn this way because you kept mum and didn’t teach them to protect themselves - both physically and ntally."

He raised his index finger and concluded. "Yun needs to know what has happened. Why it happened and as a consequence of it, what will happen, whether to his parents or himself. You cannot let the outside world bombard it on him. He deserves to know what his future is gonna look like and how he ought to protect it from toxic bullies because the world is not a fairyland. Not everybody will be sympathetic," he sneered.

He then clapped once with a grin on his lips. "And that’s the end of the great Yang Mingshen’s pep talk. Taking the boy into consideration, I will give a generous discount, so you have to pay only 999$. Thank you for the patronage."
