Jia stood in the hospital corridor’s balcony with her hands in her pockets and breathing in the cold evening air. The sun was beginning to set in the horizon, and she stared at the beautiful pinkish-orange sky.
It was chaotic back in Anhe’s ward as Jia emphasized on the repercussions of her actions against Yong. If Yong chose to file a complaint, then there would definitely be charges pressed against Anhe and the guys who had harassed Yong in the club. They could see jail ti and this realization didn’t sit well with Anhe, the outco being a massive flood of tears and panic.
"I need so cheese," she muttered with a sigh.
"What you need is a good head massage from yours truly~"
Mingshen rested his back at the balcony’s railing, smiling as he ate a cheese sandwich before her. Her brow twitched.
"You like cheese?" He asked with a curious brow.
"Everybody likes cheese."
"Lactose intolerant people not so much."
"Hm. Point taken."
Jia watched him munching and gobbling down his sandwich with a grimace. "If you are so hungry, eat outside."
"If you want a bite so badly, you can ask for one. I won’t say no to Spicy~"
She was tempted with the cheese sandwich but refrained from taking a bite from the devil’s sandwich. "No thanks."
"You think you will beco the devil if you take a bite from my sandwich?"
"I prefer to not take the risk," she smiled.
"You are losing out on the fun."
"Fine by ."
After a period of brief silence, Mingshen said, "Talk to ."
"About?"
"The case. Or yourself. Or how you would want our relationship to grow closer perhaps?"
She scoffed. "The ghosts from the horror house wouldn’t even want to get close to you so forget normal humans." She then contemplated for a mont and asked, "What do you think about Anhe?"
"For one, she is a passionate lover of video recording I must say," he sneered. "Before, she wanted to click a selfie to gain pity. I can see her bright future of becoming either a future stalker or a paparazzi."
"She has hit on many nerves. Except for Shilin and to a great extent Yong, she has control over everybody. Yibo didn’t talk about any such threat, but I believe Anhe would have sothing related to him too. And no, I am not talking about Yong’s harassnt video. Sothing very personal to him."
"He doesn’t know that yet because he has acted in line with how that stalker brat wants till now. So there is no need for her to show him that she has any proof against him."
Jia stared at the distance. "Why is she doing all this? Why does she think that she needs to have people’s weaknesses?"
"Because she has a very skewed sense of beauty," he smiled. "I had almost kicked her out of the hospital when she threw that knife at my assistant. I was tempted to show her what actual knife-throwing activity looks like."
"Yeah she hates Bojing. She hates Yong too and she must hate Beiye too. That’s why she ruined her image. She wanted Yong to be harassed too. Is it only because they are very beautiful?"
"Only?" he chuckled. "You undermine beauty, Spicy. Beauty can be a curse depending on which facet of beauty one has seen. But why do you ask about her?"
Jia contemplated the theory in her mind. "Because I want to know the girl to whom all the three - Aang, Yibo and Jinping wanted to hurt her and they did."
"All three..." he tilted his head, "Interesting."
"The correct word is bizarre. Anhe was hurt in three different ways. Her head was hit, then she was kicked in her stomach and further sexually assaulted. Did only one person do that? I didn’t think so, which gave the conclusion that all three did it."
"It could be any two too."
Jia shook her head. "It cannot be just two of them. Since eting the group first in the horror house until now with all the interrogation done, I have got a handle on their personalities. I believe Anhe when she says that Jinping smashed her head on the wall. She doesn’t have a reason to falsely fra him.
Yes, it coincides with the fact that she wanted him out of the group, but do you think she would go out of her way to protect Aang or Yibo - the actual culprit just to bla Jinping and get him out? No. She can easily deal with him later. So yes, Jinping was the one who hit her head on the wall."
She raised her index finger gesturing a ’but.’ "Jinping wasn’t the person to kick her, break her phone and assault her though. He has been drinking water quite frequently, which can be a sign of extre stress and nervousness like Bro Xinyue suggests. I asked Daxia privately and she said the sa. Jinping drinks a lot of water before any important exam or if there is any problem. His throat becos dry due to stress.
Today, he was behaving exactly like that which says to that he didn’t plan for this to happen. Sothing happened in the maze with Anhe that triggered his already deep seated resentnt. So before he knew it he smashed her head and then ran away. He is so nervous because he is unable to believe that he went so far. He would have imagined the dire consequences."
Mingshen raised his brow. "Quiet people often can turn out to be the most dangerous ones. I don’t rember his existence much back in the horror house."
"He was relatively quieter as compared to Aang and Yibo, but he started it all today. Now if we co to the kick on her stomach, do you think Jinping did it? He couldn’t because he would already be panicking so hard once he got back to his senses. That was already out of his expectation that he let a mont’s anger control him. He would only think to escape and get the hell out of the scene and that’s what he did.
So who kicked Anhe? The cotton candy evidence points to Aang, which is the truth no matter how much he denies it. It only makes sense if we add the broken phone because that signifies his resentnt for all those videos Anhe recorded. So breaking the phone to him was like erasing the evidence. Yibo and Jinping wouldn’t have done that because they must think that just scaring Anhe would bring her in line. But Aang is different. He has suffered before.
Anhe might have personal video recordings against Jinping and Yibo too but they didn’t talk about it. In fact, they looked extrely shocked upon learning Daxia and Aang’s stories. That ans they didn’t have a clue about this video recording business of hers so they don’t have a reason to break her phone so violently like Aang does."
"So he probably found her unconscious and seeing her defenseless, the suppressed anger within him exploded. He couldn’t control himself from kicking her after all that forced friendship farce she was putting him through. He thought Anhe’s phone would have those videos, so he broke it," Mingshen surmised.
"Correct. Lastly coming to the sexual assault, Jinping is already out of the picture. Will Aang go one step farther to tornt her? That could be a possibility. He is very angry and Anhe is right there unconscious. But he is also smart in tis like these. He can keep his cool.
Even with the evidence against him, it was smart of him to propose that either Jinping or Yibo could have brought a packet of cotton candy and sared it on her dress to fra him. Not everybody can think like this in such a stressful situation. If he started sexually assaulting her, that would take ti even if he wants to go faster, and he isn’t stupid to waste his ti on that. What if Jinping or Yibo ca across and saw him? He will be finished."
Jia sighed. "And well...looking at how Aang is so disgusted by Anhe’s cheap tactics to suppress him, I am sure he would hate to even touch her, much less force himself on her. He is not that kind of a guy because if he was, he would have continued his sexual relationship with Anhe despite knowing that she wasn’t enjoying it."
She glanced at him. "Why would he have cared about her pleasure or his humiliation? He wanted sex and he was getting it. Who cares about anything else? But he did care, that’s why he wanted to end it."
Mingshen cocked his brow. "So only Yibo remains."
She smiled. "You rember you challenged him that he might not be able to even finger a woman to pleasure? Back when we t their group?"
He stared at her hard.
"Yup, it’s pretty much that. I believe it wasn’t any revenge against her for recording the harassnt video or scaring him at the fest. He simply assaulted her to prove that he was just as manly. So I know who hurt Anhe and in what way. I just need to find the evidence."
